The U.S. Department of Treasury has imposed sanctions under Operation Economic Fury against 10 individuals and companies, including Chinese firms, for enabling Iran's military to secure weapons and parts for its drone and ballistic missile program. The Chinese government has rejected these sanctions, stating they will not be recognized or adhered to. This action is part of broader U.S. efforts to restrict Iran's military capabilities and represents a significant diplomatic and economic challenge in the ongoing tensions between the United States and Iran.

U.S. sanctions Chinese firms selling oil to Iran | Texas AG sues Netflix | 5/12/26Added:
Welcome to Victory News Tonight for Tuesday, May 12th. I'm Mike Gerafalo.
>> And I'm Fior Hernandez. Here are a few of the headlines we're watching for you now. The Department of Justice has filed a denaturalization actions against 12 individuals accused of serious offenses.
We'll talk about the power and importance of the Immigration and Nationality Act coming up.
>> And a former California mayor pleads guilty to acting as an illegal agent of the Chinese Communist Party. Ahead, we'll investigate this stunning national security breach with Lieutenant Colonel Alan West. But first, let's go to tonight's top stories. The US Senate confirmed Kevin Walsh today to be a Federal Reserve governor in a 51 to 45 vote. Pennsylvania Senator John Federman was the only Democrat to vote with the Republicans. The next step is to start the process to make Walsh the next Fed chair replacing Jerome Powell whose term expires on Friday. According to Newsmax, it's a closure vote which would lead to a vote approving Worsh as chair as soon as Fed chair that is as soon as Wednesday. The first chance of Worsh led Fed will have to lower interest rates will not be until June 16th and 17th.
That is the next Fed meeting. President Trump heads to China today for a high stakes summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping. On Wednesday and Thursday, discussions are expected to focus on trade, tariffs, Taiwan, artificial intelligence, and growing tensions tied to the Iran conflict. He's been a friend of mine. He's been somebody that we get along with.
And uh I think you're going to see that good things are going to happen. This is going to be a very exciting trip. A lot of good things are going to happen.
>> China analyst Gordon Chang said recently on CBN about the trip that it may look like she has the upper hand, but listen to this. The United States is far stronger than China, but China has been much more determined in using its power than the United States. And so I think that that suggests that uh President Trump needs to use American leverage. Uh and if he does that, then he can even the playing field and maybe even get that crucial advantage over the Chinese leader. Along with President Trump headed to China are about a dozen major American CEOs including Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk and Apple CEO Tim Cook. With comments from President Trump on Monday indicating support for such a measure, Missouri Senator Josh Holly announced on Next he will introduce legislation to suspend the federal gas tax. Many Republicans on Capitol Hill are also in support of that measure.
many of whom are concerned about voter backlash in the midterms over the rise of gas prices since the beginning of the Iranian conflict. Prices at the pump have surged between 40 and 50% since the war began. A suspension of the tax would save drivers 18.4 cents per gallon on gasoline and 24.4 cents per gallon on diesel fuel. The president calls the move a great idea, saying the tax would be phased back in once prices go down.
California Republican Congressman Daryl Isa has introduced a bold House resolution to completely expunge both of President Trump's impeachments during his first term from the House record.
Declares the 2019 and 2021 impeachments null and void, calling out what ISA describes as Democrats use of knowingly false claims in a partisan smear campaign to destroy the president. Legal scholar Jonathan Turley warned of the damage Democrats are doing by the unconstitutional use of impeachment.
>> This has become a pattern for Democrats and I cannot express how damaging that is for our constitutional values and history.
>> The resolution highlights declassified documents exposing a coordinated effort by biased officials. Fure >> Mike with questions about what's next when it comes to the US and Israel conflict with Iran. The Trump administration announced on Monday it is leveling sanctions against Chinese companies involved in the sale of Iranian oil. In a Friday press release, the US Department of Treasury wrote its Office of Foreign Assets Control as part of Operation Economic Fury has targeted 10 individuals and companies based in several jurisdictions across the Middle East, Asia, including China, and Eastern Europe that are being that are enabling efforts by Iran's military to secure weapons and parts for its drone and ballistic missile program. However, according to Just the News, the Chinese government responded by saying that the US sanctions issued on the grounds of their participation in Iranian oil transactions shall not be recognized or adhered to. In a hearing on Capitol Hill today, Defense Secretary Pete Hacksath and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Dan King, testified before a House Appropriations Subcommittee on the President's $ 1.5 trillion 2027 Department of War budget and developments in the conflict with Iran. Upon taking office on January 20th of 2025, President Trump inherited a defense industrial base that had been hollowed out by years of America last policies, resulting in a diminished capability and capacity to project strength, offshoring, outsourcing, cost overruns, degraded capabilities. During the question and answer period, a department of force secretary was asked about the current ceasefire with Iran.
>> How do we know? You just trust that the president knows that the ceasefire is active or not active.
>> As you know, for the most part, a ceasefire means the fire is ceasing and we know that has occurred while negotiations occur.
>> The hearing lasted more than two and a half hours. Iran's deputy foreign minister warned France and the United Kingdom Sunday that the deployment or stationing of naval assets around the state of Hermuz will be met with military force. The Epoch Times reported that the UK and France are scheduled to hold the first meeting of the Strait of Hormuz Coalition of Defense Forces today. On Sunday, the British Royal Navy announced the warship HMS Dragon was headed to the Middle East for a potential multinational Straight of Hermoose mission. The French armed forces reportedly deployed its nuclearpowered aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle to the region on May 6th.
While the IRS obviously frowns on Americans being delinquent on their taxes, it seems many of their own employees are guilty of doing just that.
According to the Washington Times, the IRS Inspector General reports around 215,000 US government workers or about 6.9% of the total workforce were delinquent on their federal taxes in 2024. About 50,000 of those federal civilian employees failed to file returns in multiple years. All told, the delinquent federal workers owed $2.1 billion as of 2024 when retired feds are added in.
Investigators say the total number of current and former feds late on their taxes is 571,000.
Mike >> that is a lot of people. Amid much controversy, FBI director Cash Patel testified before a Senate appropriation subcommittee today about President Trump's 2027 budget request to fund the FBI and other law enforcement agencies.
But on the backdrop of a published article in the Atlantic claiming Patel engaged in excessive drinking, this exchange took place with Democrat Chris Van Holland of Maryland.
>> The only person that was slinging margaritas in El Salvador on the taxpayer dollar with a convicted gang banging rapist was you. The only person that ran up a thousand bar tab in Washington DC at the lobby was you. the only individual in this room on taxpayer dime during the day.
>> The Hill reports President Trump's FBI request includes 12.5 billion dollars to fund salaries as well as expenses. The House Ethics Committee on Monday revealed it has issued more than 20 subpoenas and is reviewing thousands of documents in a domestic violence investigation into Florida Republican Congressman Corey Mills. According to the New York Post, the bipartisan panel is examining a February 2025 incident at Mills DC penthouse involving a female GOP activist. Though no charges were filed, the ethics committee stressed that the decision does not equal innocence. The panel is also probing a court injunction restricting those contact with another woman, plus a lawsuit from an ex-girlfriend, Lindseay Langston, Miss United States 2024, who accuses him of trying to blackmail her with revenge porn. Mills denies all wrongdoing and is refusing to resign.
Brooklyn, New York was the scene of violent protest and unrest Monday night in the heavily Jewish neighborhood of Midwood. The Times of Israel reports hundreds of protesters marched through chanting globalized the antifada among other things while waving Palestinian and Hezbollah flags. Video of the scene spread on social media rapidly.
All of this near synagogues and Jewish community centers drawing counterprotesters and a large New York police presence as tensions escalated.
Fox News reported three people were arrested, but there were no confirmed reports of serious injuries. Tim >> Mike, the Department of Justice announced today it has filed criminal charges again against two foreign companies and an Indian national who was acting superintendent in relation to the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in March of 2024. Now, the collapse happened in Baltimore when a cargo ship crashed into in one of the bridg's pylons. Both Synergy Marine out of Singapore and Synergy Maritime based out of India operated that ship. They have been charged with conspiracy, failing to inform the Coast Guard of hazardous conditions and false statements. Six workers who were filing uh filling potholes on that bridge died as a result of the collapse. And the Department of Justice announced on Friday it filed dennaturalization actions against 12 individuals accused of serious offenses.
Those offenses include proving material support to a providing material support to a terrorist group, committing war crimes, and sexually abusing a minor.
The DOJ press release says under the Immigration and National Nationality Act, a natural naturalized citizen may be revoked and certificate of neutralization canled if the naturalization was illegal procured or procured by concealment of material fact or by willful misrepresentation. And joining us now is a former congressman and victor news contributor, Lieutenant Colonel Alan West. Colonel, what's your reaction to denaturalizing the 12 citizens with immigration and nationality act?
>> I think that it should be done. I believe that one of the things you have to understand when you're naturalizing United States uh citizen, you should continue to have allegiance to the United States. If that's not the case, if you are committing heinous crimes, this privilege that we have granted and bestowed upon you in being a naturalized US citizen can be revoked and you should be deported to the country of your origin. I think this is very important.
I mean, just because uh you come here and you get naturalized does not mean that you have a blank check to go out and commit crimes of uh some some very nefarious and some very heinous nature as you just articulated. Now, Middle East expert say Golkar believes Iran Supreme Leader Mustaba Ham is dead. He also reports the regime's senior leadership could be preparing to flee the Russia. Now, what would those two things if true mean to negotiations and the future of Iran?
>> Well, without a doubt, when you have a void that will be created, what's going to fill that void? And so, I think that's the most important thing. The last thing we want to see is another level of ayatollas, clerics, and mullas step into that void. It would be very good if we had some semblance of civilian leadership that could come in or even if we had leadership that could come in out of the Iranian regular army, not the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps. But I think that without a doubt, you're going to see some members of the Revolutionary Guards Corps try to strongarm their way into that position.
And this is the reason why you have to be very concerned about the quote unquote negotiations because we don't know who we're negotiating with and who really are are the ones or is the one, you know, holding the reigns of power in Iran at this time. Now, >> ICE just dropped a major fraud bombshell involving 10,000 foreign students who claim to be working for highly suspect employers. Take a listen.
>> We found small residential addresses listed as work sites for hundreds of foreign students, yet no employees were present. And finally, we're finding what we call phantom employees. We've identified foreign students who obtained worked authorization documents through OPT, but never showed up for work at the sites they claimed.
>> Now, Todd Lions says, "We are uncovering evidence of organized fraud that spans national and international borders.
Isn't this fraud a financial attack on the American people, among other things, Colonel?"
>> Yes, absolutely. It's a continuation of the fraud that we see coming out of Minnesota, Minneapolis, specifically with the Somali community. Look, I think we should never forget that Muhammad Ata, one of the uh the ring leaders of the 9/11 attacks, had overstayed his student visa here in the United States of America. It's very important that we are tracking these individuals that come here on quote unquote student visas or even work visas to make sure that they are who they say they are and they are where they say they are because without a doubt uh you know China is funneling people into this country and other countries as well who are acting as agents for the for them and we need to make sure that those people are not allowed to have free access and free maneuver across our nation.
>> Yeah. Now I know how you enjoy nonsense.
So listen to Representative John Garandi of California create a case against the SAVE Act out of thin air.
>> Women are going to have a very very difficult time gathering the necessary documents to prove that their birth certificate which is going to be different from the marriage certificate uh that they align.
>> All right, Colonel, I want to hear your thoughts on that one.
I don't think women are having a problem getting on an airplane, going anywhere that that it requires a picture ID. So once again, what Mr. Garam Mindy, someone that I did serve with in Congress and uh he is not a very astute or intelligent individual, they're coming up with every single thing they possibly can to try to say that we're going to victimize people just because we want them to show a picture ID. They would rather have illegal immigrants and to include criminal illegal immigrants partaking in our electoral process, electoral system. This is a 80 plus% issue that the American people say yes, you should show a photo ID if you're going to be voting or registered to vote in America.
>> Real quickly, you represented Florida.
What are your thoughts on Cory Mills and what's going on with him? There seems to be a lot of smoke there.
>> Yeah, I mean, where there's smoke, there's fire and there have been some other things as far as his military record that seem to be uh falsified and so uh I would I would recommend that he should step aside, step down and uh not continue to draw attention to himself in this negative manner. All right, Colonel. Thank you. Stay with us for a little bit longer. We'll come back to you in a little bit, Mike.
>> All right, thank you, Tim. Democratic governor of Maryland, Wes Moore, is under fire tonight after saying he would support his underage son if the boy wanted to transition his gender. On Patrick Bet David's podcast, Moore was asked what he'd do if his if his 14-year-old came to him wanting to change genders. If if this is how he is feeling and I feel like I'm I'm closely tied to him, I'm not going to advise him on something that he feels is at 14 years old. Wes, >> no, I understand it. But what I'm saying is the most important thing for me is I want him to feel safe in his own skin.
>> Moore later added he wouldn't allow his son to take puberty blockers.
Apparently, gender mutilation is where the governor draws the line. Social media erupted with critics calling it insanity. Fure >> Mike. Uh, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton says he is suing the streaming service Netflix alleging it spies on kids by collecting user data without consent. A Monday release from the AG's office alleges Netflix built surveillance machinery to monitor the activities of kids accounts and collect behavioral data on the users even though it does not directly engage in behavioral advertising to children.
Paxton says Netflix is a logging company that records and monetizes billions of behavioral events and occasionally streams movies. The AG's statement reads in part, "Netflix is not the ad-free and kid-friendly platform it claims to be.
Instead, it has misled consumers while exploiting their private data to make millions." Many more illegal immigrants are self-epporting under President Donald Trump than under Biden. According to the postmillennial, a sharp increase in voluntary departures by illegal immigrants has occurred during the Trump administration with immigration judges processing about 80,000 voluntary departure orders between January and March. According to the Ver Institute for Justice, that figure is roughly seven times higher than during the final 15 months of the Biden administration when about 11,400 people chose to leave voluntarily. People who voluntarily depart may still be eligible to legally return to the US in the future. Tim >> President Donald Trump on Monday announced the launch of a new website and a series of initiatives to help new and expectant mothers as well as expand access to fertility care nationwide.
>> In recognition of this ambitious agenda to support American mothers, today we're announcing a new website that is online right now. It's moms.gov.
moms.gov.
>> The president also highlighted groundbreaking child care reforms within Head Start and the child care development fund that will give each state increased flexibility, lower costs, and give parents more options to choose what plans work for them. Last year alone, about 455,000 women left the workforce due to lack of accessible child care. This new program hopes to change that. be all right Mike.
>> Ahead, a California mayor is caught spreading propaganda for China.
>> We'll discuss the infiltration of the CCP into America's landscape with Lieutenant Colonel Alan West. That's next.
>> This Sunday, a historic moment in our nation's capital. Believers from across America will gather in Washington DC for rededicate 250, a call to declare America once again, one nation under God. And the Victory News team will be there. Beginning at 1:00 p.m. Eastern, noon central. We'll bring you complete coverage from the ground, including live reports and exclusive moments from this National Day of Faith. Don't miss the Victory News coverage of Rededicate 250 Sunday on Victory.
>> Today marks the beginning of the 2026 midterm primary election season.
Casting ballots in this coming general election, November, is crucial to see which party controls the House and the Senate.
We don't vote out of fear or anger, and certainly not based upon someone's looks or personality. You and I vote from conviction. We're stewards of our homes and our churches and we're stewards of our citizenship.
A stunning national security breach in California. Federal prosecutors say the former mayor of Arcadia, Eileene Wang, has agreed to plead guilty to acting as an illegal agent of the Chinese Communist Party. Wang faces up to 10 years in federal prison after admitting she secretly worked at the direction of Beijing officials from at least 2020 to 2022, pushing pro-China propaganda inside the United States without registering as required by law.
Prosecutors say she teamed up with convicted Chinese agents, including one already in prison, to run a fake local news website that served as a straight propaganda arm for the CCP. Wang has already resigned as mayor. Her guilty plea is expected in the coming weeks.
Spring Lieutenant Colonel Alan Westback in. Sir, listen to attorney and California resident Katie Zachariah comment on Eileen Wang's work for the CCP.
>> This woman, Eileen Wong, she's only getting 10 years. That's actually kind of offensive. As a United States citizen, this person was acting as a foreign agent on behalf of the CCP.
Todd, there should be no grace there.
They they literally should be sent back to the People's Republic of China. So, Colonel, does this smack of Eric Swallwell's involvement with a Chinese spy and does the federal government need to review people who are in the US from adversarial countries?
>> Yeah, absolutely. So, so we got Fang Fang, Eene Wang, and I don't know what's next. Wang Chong uh is very uh interesting what is happening in this country. And I think this is one of the places where I have a a strong disagreement with President Trump when he's talking about increasing the amount of students we have from China in our universities. And many of these students and uh others are in research facilities and things of that nature. So yes, we need to have a very sincere scrutiny and I don't think that the American taxpayer should be paying for Eileen Wang to probably sit in a a very nice facility and uh get, you know, television, plenty of food to eat and what have you for the next 10 years. I think she should be sent right back to China where she belongs.
>> I think you're right. Now, Senator Chris Cuz of Delaware, sir, and Secretary of War Pete Haggith shared a testy exchange over the war with Iran. Here it is.
>> My concern, Mr. secretary is that you've achieved a series of tactical successes but are on the verge of a strategic loss.
>> Colonel, are we facing a strategic loss or should we put an end to a 47-year threat of a nuclear weapon by a regime that hates us above all else?
>> You know, I came on active duty at the end of October 1983, 7 days after the Iranians by way of Hezbollah killed 241 Marines, sailors, and a soldier in the Beirut barracks bombing. Uh this has been going on for far too long. When I was in Iraq and also Afghanistan, we had to deal with the explosive force penetrators that were killing uh and maming thousands of Americans. So when you hear someone like a Chris Coons talk about a strategic loss, it reme it reminds me of how the Democrats stood on the side of North Vietnam uh during the Vietnam War and they were the ones that caused us to have a strategic loss even though we had many tactical victories on the ground. So the Iranian leadership is watching. Uh they are paying attention to what the Democrats are seeking to do to include uh former Vice President Kla Harris referring to the conflict against Iran as BS. So we need to make sure that we point out that these Democrats are acting almost in a treasonous manner and how they are not supporting this effort against the number one state sponsor of Islamic terrorism in the world.
>> And sir, the Senate Majority Leader John Thun was out playing defense with the press over the Save America Act. Here he is.
>> We don't have the vote to get rid of the filibuster. Um we did we called it up on the floor March I think 17th. We were on it for several weeks and um had a fair spirited debate. In fact um I actually I think with the exception of maybe a couple of Republican senators made more speeches on the floor in support of the Save Act than almost any other senator.
>> All right, Colonel. The House has been throwing stones at Senator Thun. Do you think he has done everything in his power to pass the Safe America Act?
No, I don't. Uh, and that's that's it hurts me to say that. You know, part of leadership is taking people and getting them to come together. Uh, I don't care what their background is, what their perspectives may be. But again, you're looking at an issue that is 80% plus the American people are in favor of. And if you have a Senate majority leader that cannot get this to the floor, cannot get it to vote, then the thing that you need to do is you need to go after every single senator that is preventing that from happening. and uh saying that these are people that want to see the electoral system and process here in procedures here in America be uh contaminated by people that are here illegally who should not be counted in our census for representation who should not be voting in our elections.
>> And be sure to check out the colonel's article on how Democrats are aiding and betting Iran. Just visit townhall.com or onx atallen west. Colonel, great to see you as always.
>> My pleasure. Thanks for having me and God bless.
>> Thank you, sir. Fure >> Mike. President Donald Trump is calling on Republicans to build an even bigger and stronger election integrity army than the one he credits with securing his 2024 victory. In a truth social poll Sunday, the president vowed to protect every legal vote as grassroots Republicans mobilized poll watchers across the nation. This comes just days after White House Chief of Staff Susie Wilds dropped a bombshell, telling the Independent Women's Forum she believes America is about to learn President Trump actually won states he lost back in 2020. President Trump on Monday nominated a former Navy Seal Cameron Hamilton to serve as a FEMA's permanent administrator. A major comeback for Hamilton, who was fired from the agency last year after defending the AY's vital role in disaster response. The move signals the Trump administration is focusing on reforming FEMA rather than dismantling it. If confirmed, Hamilton will advise President Trump and DHS Secretary Mark Wayne Mullen directly.
He'll take charge of an agency facing challenges and prepare it for the upcoming summer season. President Trump on Monday hosted the 2026 College Football National Champions of the Indiana Hoosers to the White House.
>> This is an honor. I watched that game. I watched these guys. They can play. They can play. And they were a little underestimated, but I just said, but not anymore.
They're not underestimated anymore. They were incredible talents. So today, it's my great honor to welcome the 2025 College Football National Champions, the Indiana University Hoosiers.
>> Hers coach Kurt Signetti also spoke of relating his simple message on winning football games.
>> Prepare the right way every single day to a high standard and anything is possible in life. The only limitations are those between your ears. Signetti added that the team made a college football history with their 16 to0 winning season. He noted it was the best record in 132 years. Mike, >> it's your time to find out what's coming up on Unclassified. Greg, >> hey Mike, thanks. Listen, on Unclassified tonight, Victor Marks, the man who's leading the race to be the governor of Colorado, will be with us.
And then Alan Do, we're going to talk about all the UFO stuff that's been in the news recently. So, I've got my tinfoil hat ready. We're going to talk about the days of Noah. We're going to unmask it all. That comes up on Classified right after the news. Back to you guys. Tim, I got one of these for you.
>> That's now yours.
>> All right, Greg. I got it. Maybe I can pick up some TV stations. I can't get at home right now.
>> Good point.
>> Listen, speaking of TV, we are so excited about this weekend's Victor News coverage of the rededication of our nation uh to the Lord.
