MAGA furious as the WORLD boycotts USA and CHOOSE Canada (this is insane)Added:
Well, we brought in the the heavy artillery. We brought in the king the king and queen of Sweden. It doesn't get any better better than that. But I would say that we I mean everyone knows these are truly turbulent and and and quite tough and challenging times. And in those times you need to choose your friends wisely. And Sweden is choosing Canada.
>> These are major shifts in alliances.
And these alliances are moving in different directions.
Well, Canada and [clears throat] Sweden, both of these two countries, they are dating each other as you speak.
Canada has bought Global Eye watching craft from Sweden.
>> We're following big developments in the defense sector this morning. Canada is being chosen to host a new multilateral defense bank, which aims to provide long-term financing for defense projects to potentially dozens of countries. So this all comes as NATO is reportedly said to announce that it's going to select an advanced Canadian surveillance system for its air fleet, shifting away from its previous system that comes from the US.
>> Well, there's Canadian jobs really at the core of this, but it's a lot more than this for Canadian industry and all of the participant nations countries industries as well.
>> Something big just changed. NATO chose Canada over US to control a powerful defense bank.
This means Canada is getting stronger, richer, and more important, fast. Two announcements landed in rapid succession at the end of April 2026 that together describe a fundamental shift in how NATO is organizing its military and financial architecture, and Canada is at the center of both. NATO's Support and Procurement Agency selected the Saab Bombardier Global Eye to replace its entire fleet of 14 aging Boeing E-3 Sentry AWACS aircraft according to French defense publication La Lettre and independently confirmed by the German press agency DPA.
And on April 29th, multilateral negotiations in Montreal concluded with participating countries unanimously selecting Canada as the future headquarters of the defense security and resilience bank, a new NATO-linked financial institution designed to reduce borrowing costs for allied defense spending.
Both developments, arriving within days of each other, signal a reorientation of the alliance that would have been difficult to predict when Donald Trump was telling the world that America's allies needed to stop freeloading and start paying more.
NATO Support and Procurement Agency awarded the contract to replace the alliance's aging fleet of Boeing E-3 Sentry airborne warning and control system aircraft to Sweden's Saab and Canada's Bombardier, according to French defense publication La Lettre. The two companies would supply their Global Eye airborne early warning and control platform to replace all 14 aircraft currently operated by the alliance.
If confirmed, the award would end a years-long procurement process that saw Boeing's E-7A Wedgetail eliminated from contention after the United States pulled back from the program, and would mark the first time in nearly four decades that a non-Boeing platform serves as NATO's common airborne surveillance backbone.
The chain of events that led NATO here begins with the United States.
In 2023, NATO had selected the Boeing E-7A Wedgetail as its next-generation command and control aircraft. With six aircraft expected and the first plan to become operational by 2031, that plan began to unravel in June 2025 when the US Air Force announced it would drop the E-7 from its fiscal 2026 spending plan in favor of space-based surveillance capabilities.
The Netherlands and the remaining European partners announced they were scrapping the six aircraft Wedgetail buy.
With Dutch State Secretary for Defense Gijs Tuinman explicitly noting that the US withdrawal underscored the importance of investing as much as possible in European industry. Washington's decision to cancel its own E-7 procurement, citing cost overruns, delays, and survivability concerns removed the industrial justification for awarding the contract to Boeing without competition.
The NATO Support and Procurement Agency initially awarded the replacement contract to Boeing for the E-7 Wedgetail in 2023 without a competitive tender due to Boeing's position as the exclusive supplier of NATO AWACS aircraft since 1988.
Once the US Air Force walked away from its own order, European partners relaunched a competitive process. The GlobalEye won it. The GlobalEye platform is built around Saab's Erieye extended range radar, capable of detection and identification over air, sea, and land at ranges exceeding 550 km mounted on a Bombardier Global 6000 business jet airframe. The Bombardier connection is the Canadian industrial component. Canada's Bombardier manufactures the Global 6000 and 6500 business jet airframes that serve as the platform base for the GlobalEye system. Saab is the system integrator and the Erieye radar is Swedish. The airframe fly >> Canada was ranked the best country in the world to move to and the US was left in the dust. Here's all the info from this online article. Here's a full breakdown on what this new global study looked at. Canada came in at number one.
And the biggest reason why people are moving to Canada, quality of life. And here's some more info on that. Here are the next biggest reasons after quality of life on why people move to Canada and are other major factors on why people are moving to Canada. In the land of opportunity, the US came in at number five and here's some more info on that.
Here's the top 10 list of the countries people want to move to. So, let me know below, do you agree that Canada has the best quality of life?
>> There's so much conversation around Canada's game and just the rise there in the scouting and the conversations of where to put the World Cup. What excites you the most about that country specifically?
>> About Canada.
Well, you know, it's it's a very first time that the World Cup men's World Cup comes to Canada. Hosted in 2015, the women's World Cup which was very successful.
And it's and it's you know, very very special because Canadians they love of course ice hockey, they love basketball, football, but they love as well >> [music] >> soccer or or our football, right? And uh to bring the World Cup, to have a a team which actually Canada is quite a is quite a strong team, uniting a nation which has so many different backgrounds as well. People coming from all over the world who are Canadians, uniting around the team, around an experience like the World Cup is something really really special.
>> I spent 4 hours in Canada and let me tell you something, it's way better than the US.
Like the people aren't rude, there's less crime there, less hierarchy. Like there's people in Canada that are so broke, all they can afford is grilled cheese sandwiches.
But they're happy because people don't judge them based on how much money they have.
If I could CHOOSE TO LIVE IN THE US or in Canada, I would live in Canada.
>> We brought in the the heavy artillery.
We brought in the king the king and queen of Sweden. It doesn't get any better better than that. But I would say that we I mean everyone knows these are truly turbulent and and and quite tough and challenging times. And in those times you need to choose your friends wisely. And Sweden is choosing Canada.
Uh and I think rightly so. And we're also seeing a very strategic work from from Canada and not least from Prime Minister Carney himself uh in in choosing his friends globally now very very strategically. And I think Sweden is a great partner to to Canada.
We actually used to share the same bedrock. Did you know that? Before we were separated by the Atlantic. Uh we were used to be called Verdinia which is also could be translated into family.
And in that sense I think Canada is quite a bit of of family to Sweden. We share a lot of the same values when it comes to we're both high trust egalitarian societies. Uh and we believe in that openness. But that openness should not be used against us. And I think now we need to choose our friends very very wisely. So when we come to America we come to Canada now.
That's quite steep.
>> Mr. Carney do you want to start?
Don't forget and pick the right ball please.
Aha. Already chosen.
Okay. Let's see which team will be drawn by Mr. Mark Carney.
Oh.
Oh Canada.
Oh congratulations. Canada ladies and gentlemen the first team drawn in this World Cup group B1 for Canada by the way.
>> What does Quebec bring to the table that benefits the entire country?
>> The fact that people even ask this question leaves me very concerned about what the vibes are in the rest of Canada. No matter what your industry interests are, Quebec is a huge player.
If you're into tech, we are the aerospace, AI, and video game capital of Canada. If you're into energy, we are the alternative energy capital of Canada. And yes, our hydroelectricity benefits provinces outside of Quebec as well. If agriculture is your bag, we are a huge contributor to the pork, dairy, eggs, poultry, cranberry industries. Not to mention like the supplier of maple syrup. And speaking French is not unique to Quebec. French Canadians from coast to coast, and Quebec helps protect their language, culture, and minority language rights, as well as the ones in Quebec.
In culture and arts, we throw down some mega bangers, like Cirque du Soleil, Celine Dion, our film industry, our poets, our artists, our authors. If you're into hunting and fishing, Quebec also is the place to be. When you hear Quebec politicians get on stage and say that all they want is respect for Quebec, it's because of comments like this. There's absolutely no respect for everything that we contribute to this country. Quebec bashing is a very specific thing, because I don't see you asking what P.E.I. contributes. I don't see you guys worrying about how many equalization payments Nova Scotia takes.
Like, do you have any idea how important aluminum is for all your industries out in Alberta? Especially for all the QAnon's that come out of there. The Canadian economy is driven by a lot more than just oil. And sure, it's an important part, but it is not the end-all be-all.
>> If you're not watching the NATO summit, you definitely need to. This is history breaking [ __ ] Okay?
The world has turned against America.
And I'm not even [ __ ] exaggerating.
I'm not gaslighting you, okay? Canada just made a deal with the European Union for mutual defense. And mutual defense from who? Not China, not Iran, not Russia, but from us.
The unstable power that has waged a [ __ ] terror war across the world, that is now bombing [ __ ] sovereign countries, because we don't agree with their policies or we don't want to talk it out. We don't have the patience to do anything anymore. There is no diplomacy, there's only threats. This is how people view us in the world right now. You have to understand MAGA and Republicans and those that want immigrants to disappear, the world's seeing that masked men that don't identify themselves are going on the streets and kidnapping people, okay?
And then sending them to the gulag where then after they decide that they want to let them out, if they survive, they're sending them to countries of their not their origin.
They may not even speak any of the language or know any of the culture.
Do you understand what the world is seeing right now? You're denying people coming in if they have literal things that are making fun of our president.
There is no freedom of speech. You're literally trying to kick out all students for the Chinese students until they made a deal of what? A 55% tariff?
This is the end, okay?
This is the end of American sovereignty brought down in 6 months by a [ __ ] diaper Don that didn't know what the [ __ ] he was doing.
You should see him on the world stage.
They're not making deals with this guy.
He is not dealing with anyone, okay?
They're laughing and giggling at him and they're laughing and giggling at us because they're like, why the [ __ ] would you, Americans, supposedly supposed to be the best of the best, pick the worst of the worst?
Okay? Our allies are going elsewhere and they're looking at us like, we can't trust them. We can't even send We can't even admit in our administration that we may have missed the mark. This This [ __ ] ridiculous.
>> Suddenly, after mocking us for decades, millions of Americans want to move to Canada for a better life. Interesting.
You know, you have that big border below you to stop them from doing the same thing. Yeah, we have one of those, too, because you're our Mexico, by the way, and we get along great with Mexicans up here, and we both agree that you need to keep your pesky gun violence away from our borders at this trying time. And also, keep your greasy hands off our maple syrup factory, igloo-building, Canadian bacon-serving jobs. Thank you.
>> There's a major shift in alliances.
And these alliances are moving in different directions.
Well, Canada and Sweden, both of these two countries, they are dating each other as we speak.
Canada has bought global high-watching craft from Sweden.
From the Sweden defense system, ladies and gentlemen. And for a long time, Canada has been leaning towards US military supplies for very long time, including, you know, aircraft like the Boeing.
But right now, things are changing quite fast, ladies and gentlemen. Sweden and Canada, they are forming strong ties.
They are becoming friends. They are becoming new partners, new trade partners. And both of these two countries are in the active And both of these two countries, they also want to strengthen their military power in the northern part.
Ladies and gentlemen. So, there's a lot of similarities between Canada and Sweden. And why not form friendship?
After all, there has been a lot of controversies within NATO and America, uh which was one of the major uh Canada uh ally, you know, has always been criticizing NATO for a long time when it comes to purchasing military supplies, but it comes to global security concerns and all these things. And NATO as a group encouraged all these other countries to please go ahead and form other partnership beyond United States of America. And guess what? Canada has done exactly that.
Good news, Canada.
Canada and Sweden they are strong allies right now as we speak, which is a good thing.
Okay? Which is one of the the the best thing that has happened.
It's good. It's always good. Change is inevitable. Huh?
And you see, Canada is a multinational country. People from different parts of the world came to Canada for opportunities. They could there. They graduated there.
Ladies and gentlemen, and I and right now Canada will be hosting World Cup 2026.
That also means that people from different parts of the world they will buy their tickets, prepare their visa, and come to watch football. Okay? And they will have a nice time. Strangers will have a nice time. They will know each other.
Ladies [snorts] and gentlemen, or maybe even people will form relationship with each other. Huh?
Canada is that country that brings humanity together. It's such an amazing place to be. Such a beautiful country with beautiful people, with very kind people. I can't wait to see this, ladies and gentlemen. Yeah?
Yeah. Because football hosting football 2026 is not a small thing. World Cup is not a small thing. World Cup is not a small thing. Oh, every one in the world will be watching that football. So, Canada is taking care of this quite well, better than some countries.
Another thing is football. Canada is going to host World Cup 2026, one of the biggest football event on Earth.
That's a beautiful thing. And when I saw the FIFA president, you know, saying this thing, he was smiling. He was happy because he knows Canada is an amazing country. They'll have no problems. The football teams will have no problems. The people coming to watch the football will have no problems. They'll have a nice time coming there to watch football, ladies and gentlemen. Yeah. As we speak right now, tickets are being sold from right and left. Canada is generating revenue, a lot of revenue from these tickets. And kind people, nice people are found in Canada, ladies and gentlemen. Very beautiful stadiums. Huh?
Yeah. I wish I wish I was in a more financial situation. If I was in a better financial situation, I'll come and watch football in Canada, ladies and gentlemen. Yeah.
No violence, no conflicts.
Huh? No one will dis- There will be There will be no any friction.
Just an amazing country to be, ladies and gentlemen. Huh? I can't wait to see that football. Huh? I can't wait to see, you know, to see football being hosted in Canada.
