[00:00:12]Every single color comes from one tiny aquatic plant, Macarenia clavigera, found almost nowhere else on Earth. When conditions align perfectly, it blazes crimson across the entire riverbed.

[00:00:39]The rock beneath those colors is nearly 1.2 billion years old. You are looking at one of the most ancient exposed rock formations in all of South America.
