Germany Isn’t Preparing Society for Ukraine’s EU Membership

[00:00:00]The the member states now figuring out what is for them acceptable. But if you look to Germany, maybe just just to add this political elites even haven't started a public discourse about about the EU integration of of Ukraine.

[00:00:14]It's not very popular in Germany. It's less than 50% who support further EU enlargement in in in Germany. And you have to start to invest political capital also as Chancellor as Bundestag and as as the government to promote why it is necessary and why there's no alternative to to EU integration of Ukraine. And in my opinion, it has not really started.

[00:00:35]So they don't prepare the society for it and Germany is not not the only one.
