Trump: 'There won't be escalation' in Cuba

[00:00:12]Should we expect any escalation here, or should they expect anything? Yes. Uh no.

[00:00:18]No, you won't There won't be escalation.

[00:00:21]I don't think there needs to be Look, the place is falling apart.

[00:00:25]It's a mess, and uh they've sort of lost control.

[00:00:30]They've really lost control of Cuba. So, we have the CIA there. We have Marco is there. Marco's parents, as you know, were from Cuba.

[00:00:38]So, we have a lot of expertise in Cuba, and it's not going to be like the biggest thing we've ever done, but I will tell you to a lot of people it's going to be one of the most important They've been looking for this moment for 65 years.

[00:00:52]So, we'll see what happens, but uh we're going to In the meantime, we're going to have to help them out. They have no no way of living. They have no food.

[00:01:01]They have no electricity. They have no energy at all.

[00:01:05]But, they do have great people. They're a lot of great people. I mean, I I have so many Cuban friends in my Mostly in Miami in Florida.

[00:01:12]And they're un- unbelievable people.

[00:01:14]They're unbelievable entrepreneurs.

[00:01:17]And they'd like to go back. I think they hopefully they're going to want to live here, but they want to go back. Maybe they'll invest. We'll see what happens, but uh we're freeing up Cuba.
