Online harassment can escalate from digital abuse to real-world stalking when individuals follow and threaten content creators in person, requiring evidence preservation and potential police involvement; this behavior often stems from troll channels that exploit vulnerable people for profit by inciting hatred and encouraging harassment against content creators.

** TROLLED! STALKED! HARASSED! ** | This time it’s gone TOO Far!
Added:Good afternoon, guys. Uh, welcome back to the Sullivan family. I have my cat. I have my Harling cow. Um, right. So, I found out a few things over the last 24 hours. Um, and now I'm going to chat to you about it and see what you guys think and see what you guys think that I should do. Um, so yeah, let's get into it. [music] >> [music] >> So, we all remember um the whole Asda incident uh of a few weeks ago.
There's me just thinking we put all that to bed, gone, dusted. And then I get a message last night and I'm like this message for is from somebody who has um previously made comments on I can't remember if it was Facebook or No, it was Facebook. Um when I was in Cornwall a few weeks ago um it was from the same person. Now, I tried to block this person before because usually I just block and move on. Um, but it would for some reason it wouldn't let me block them. So, anyway, I'd forgotten all about it to be honest.
And I got this message last night and like not only is like I can't even understand what the message is supposed to say. Um, I don't know if Ben can insert it when he's editing, but if he can then I'll get him to put it up. if not, it's on my um Tik Tok. Um and I thought I'm going to have a look at this person's profile. Now, there wasn't much on this person's profile, but when I looked at their about info, it's a Kinder Egg. Um I don't know where that's come from.
The specific likes and interest that they had on their profile directly, it just made sense. absolutely made sense to me. And I'm not going to go into the the exact details of why, but the person that this person follows and the um the content [snorts] that this person has likes and interest in is it's got to be the same person that it was in Asda. Absolutely has to be. um because it's too specific to not be. So I kind of thought, do you know what? All of this is making sense now. So I had these comments not long after uh I was confronted in Asda and obviously I went off to Cornwall to see my dad and um I got these comments which again they didn't make much sense. Um, and they were just ridiculous and I just thought, "Oh my god, these are just hilarious.
They're just absolutely ridiculous comments." Uh, but anyway, I was going to block the person anyway cuz I just don't need that kind of negativity in my life. Like I said, I forgot all about it until this message came on and I thought, "This is a little bit more serious cuz this says to me that this person is watching me, so this person is local." And then obviously I went on their profile and saw and I [snorts] was like this person is lo local. This is the same person that waited for me in the Asda store as in the Asda store when they then got the manager and everything else. Not only had they waited for me in that store, they'd also been around to all the other stores that I shop in as well.
Now, there's some bull story um of why she was making a complaint, which she's obviously sort of bandied around with her other little trolly friends um which is utter rubbish, but you know, makes sense in her head.
So, and makes sense in all of their little heads, this little group that they've got. Um and it's it's utter crap basically. She has been following me around. Um, so that then kind of got me thinking, wow, this is a little bit more serious than just some online abuse. You know, somebody sitting behind their keyboard. This is somebody that's actually actively following me about, knows where and I am a little bit of a creature of habit. I do do the same things at the same time, but also like [snorts] um, you know, kids are in groups and we live in a small place, do you know what I mean? Anyway, um I then realized that when I got back from Cornwall Social Services came around again. Um and I'd had problems with my phone and everything. So, they came came around and she said something to me. She said, "This sounds like somebody you've had contact with recently." And I thought, "That doesn't make any sense. I can't think who I've had." She said, "Have you had a falling out with anybody recently or anything like that?" And I was like, "Well, I don't think so. I don't really have, you know, many people to fall out with um here.
And I said to her about the incident there and I said, "Maybe it's got something to do with this." But I still didn't kind of put all these things together cuz it still didn't really make much sense to me to be honest. Um, and she said to me then, maybe it's something you need to speak to the police about because it sounds a little bit, you know, and I thought, I don't know, because, you know, maybe that's I'm just overthinking it, you know, and it's it can't be anything like that. I'm just, you know, we're not like some massive celebrity. We're just normal people showing our lives doing, you know, social media content creation for a living. Thousands and thousands and thousands and thousands of people doing the same thing. [gasps] Um, hundreds of thousands of people doing the same thing. But anyway, and then I I last night I kind of sat there and all of this stuff kind of fell into place and I was like, I think this is the same person that is was that person that day and I kind of wish I'd taken more notice because it's all kind of starting to fall into place now. I put something out on my social media this morning um about asking people what what they think I should do.
Is am I overreacting or is this something that I should, you know, speak to the police about? Um he's upset cuz I disturbed his sleep. Um because I'm always the kind of person that gives somebody the benefit of the doubt.
Always. I don't like I will always look for the good in people. um I will always think no, you know, that can't be that's not somebody's not going to do that. But one of the comments I got through from somebody was that they'd seen this same type of writing um on a certain other person's channel. Now, anybody that's followed us for a while knows that we have a couple of troll channels out there that basically take all of our content, twist it all up, and make their own content out of it. And then they've got these little bands of people that follow them, probably about five or six that comment, and they all comment to each other every single day on every single video. It's not just our family. They target a couple of other families as well. It's the same content, regurgitated all the time, same narrative, make up stories where there is none, that kind of thing.
um this will be made into a video as well. So I'm now giving them you know everything that we do because basically they've got no content of their own. So they have to use our content to make content. Now what these people that follow them don't realize is that they're making money out of you guys.
All you guys that go on their channel and watch their videos and comment between yourselves. Um they're making money out of you as well. So he's making money out of me and he's making money out of you. Um, basically, so there's these little bands of people and they it's it's actually quite frightening when you look at it because these people have these channels. They regurgitate this stuff um these narratives that they make up where, you know, a story where there is no story um in their own little kind of warped brains. They make this stuff up and these people quite often vulnerable people or people with a lot of time on the rounds anyway um they then like do these people's bidding basically. So they are the ones that make the phone calls and all of that. So this one person it's so they don't get into trouble [snorts] but they plant the seed inciting hatred I think is the word I'm looking for. um they incite hatred amongst these people that follow them.
Um they encourage them to go and do things like get people into trouble and follow people and all those sorts of things. So anyway, this I found out that this this person goes under a different name on this channel and um obviously is part of that little group. So, it's obviously been uh it's actually it's quite frightening actually. They're relaying information um that they've seen me out and about and all those sorts of things. Um and I did have I did have a little sneak I don't go on these pages cuz they're just really sad. Um but I did have a sneak peek earlier and some of the comments are just hilarious. Like absolutely hilarious.
like honestly you guys you believe just hilarious. Um but the the I think the most scary thing is is that they spend all their time on these people's channels and then running back when they see things on our social media and stuff, running back and telling them. And it's like you're consumed by this. Like go outside and touch some grass because it's not Do you know what I mean? It's not that deep. It's really not. This person takes my my stuff, makes up his own stories to then make money out of them, and you guys all fall for it. You fall for everything that he says. And then you go in and you spend your lives trying to get information that's not even there. It's just wow. Mindblowing.
It really is mind-blowing. Um but yeah, so I'm finding out more information as we go along. And this person has now locked their profile and blocked me and Ben and my private profile as well.
Um, but I still have the screenshots and everything and all the other things that I'm finding out are starting to make a little bit more sense as well. So, I am because I know that the police will want evidence of um harassment and stalking and stuff like that. So, I am um keeping an eye out for anything that is relevant. I'm making sure that I take screenshots of everything as well.
But that was going to kind of be my question was I do I am guilty of giving people the benefit of the doubt. I don't like to see the bad in people. I always like to try and see the good in people first. Um even when people are really hateful and spiteful, I try and understand why they're like that and I try and understand, you know, are they being manipulated by somebody else, which quite often they are. you know, have they got mental health problems of their own, which quite often they have. Um, I don't like to see the bad in people. I I can I can't get my head around why people act like this. I can't get my head around why people do these things. Um, is it that they're looking for a sense of belonging and this kind of group gives them a sense of belonging? You know, they can go back and tell them that they've seen me and done this. But for me, from my point of view, it's actually quite threatening and also illegal. Um, so I mean, I've been to the police before about um other things.
Sometimes they've been helpful, sometimes they've not been helpful. So, I'm kind of like I know that I will need more evidence.
So, yeah, I have screenshots. I'm trying to find out find some more um bits information on this person particularly, but I am pretty sure that this is it's too much of a coincidence to the things that they follow. Like I said, I'm not going to go into it too much because I don't want to put myself in any, you know, situation, but the things that they follow, it's too much of a coincidence to not be them that's then writing those messages. Um, so yeah. What do you guys think I should do? Do you think I should I don't know.
I just I just Ben says we should go to the police um and speak to social services and whoever else [snorts] um and log it all as a complaint.
But I'm like I don't know. Do I or do I just just leave it? I I'm not sure. I don't want to just leave it because I think, you know, it's quite threatening, but then equally, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. And I I guess I do. I guess I do know really. I know that really I should just go to the police and speak to them about it. Um because before it goes any further, these people are just crazy. So, like, you know, people say to us, "Oh, you shouldn't give people air time. You shouldn't talk about these people." And most, for the most part, I don't. Most of this stuff goes on behind the scenes.
We don't speak about it. Um, occasionally, and at the moment, we, you know, the hate has ramped up. um ever since my mom passed away to be honest.
Um which in itself proves how much of an ass you are. If you have to prey on people's vulnerability to make yourself successful, then you are a complete ass. Um, but it has ramped up a lot and I have spoken about it a bit more lately. But what you don't forget is that these channels go on in the background about us and we don't speak about them. We know they're there. We know who they are. We know where they, you know, we know who they are and where they are. Um, but for the most part, until there's the laws change, there's not much we can kind of do. But this is at the level where it is inciting hatred, encouraging other people to go and do things is that's a different level than just having a group where you you know tattle amongst each others each other. But again saying that the whole tattle thing that came up you know that was this is kind of similar. These sites are similar just on a much smaller level and that did go to court. So, you know, who knows what the future laws will bring. Um, because there should be there should be laws against online harassment. There really should be. I think it's time that the social media companies um sat up and did something about it because there are millions of creators making money for these channels as well as making money for ourel. And I know that people people might not think it's a proper job and people might not like what we do and people might go well you know and there's many many discussions about how much we earn or how much we don't earn and all of this sort of stuff and you must be doing this and you must be doing that. None of you know what we earn or we don't earn because we don't ever talk about it um because it's nobody else's business quite frankly but we earn a wage doing what we like doing and we're not hurting anybody doing that. Yeah. We're not me we're not creating any problem for people by doing what we do. Sharing our lives on social media is our choice and we're not hurting anybody doing that. So as much as you don't like it or you don't whatever for whatever reason you have to do these crazy things, whatever you reason you think you have in your head to do these things. Um there is, you know, no reason we can't do the job that we want to do and earn money from it.
There's millions of people doing it every single day, millions.
What you fail to realize is that these channels pick on a couple of families.
Yeah. For every couple of families that these channels pick up on and you follow and then you start hating on those people as well, there are a million other family channels out there.
Millions of them out there. Absolutely millions of family channel. Not just that, family Instagram, you know, family Tik Toks, family Facebooks.
We're not the only ones. There are millions, millions of us doing the same thing, creating content. And it is about time that the social media channels started to back content creators in the whole online hate and abuse um by create and there should be new laws quite frankly. You know, you're not allowed to harass somebody in person, which is where we're kind of getting at with this now, but for some reason it's okay to do it online because there's no laws about it yet. But there should be.
And I think it's about time creators got together and started um you know trying to make a difference in changing these laws because we're not the only people that you know there are thousands and thousands and thousands of people that go through this every single day. Um, so yeah, I think it's time that um, people weren't allowed to do this. You know, people should not be allowed to do this.
They just shouldn't be allowed to do it.
[sighs] I >> could see you. Um, I mean, some of the some of the stories I've read about myself are actually wild. I'm like, "Wow, really." Um, it's crazy. like the stuff that gets made up is just if there's a gap and I've said this hundreds of times, if there's a gap um or you know something that we haven't talked about or mentioned or a child that we haven't talked about or something like that, they make up a story about that and then all it's just honestly it's wild. I don't understand it. I can't get my head around it. I think this just just crazy.
It's to the point where these people hate what we do and hate us so much, but yet watch every single thing that we do.
And the whole taking it to the level where they're egging each other on to phone social services and call this and call that and then boasting about having done it. It's It's really frightening. It's really scary. Um, but I'm not going to be stopped doing what we do for a living because of some bullies basically. Do you know what I mean? Um, just just anyway. Um, [snorts] [gasps] yeah, that's my findings for the last couple of days. So, I just thought I'd come on and chat about it cuz I have been over on my other socials and chatted about it and people are of the opinion that I should phone the police.
I should speak to the police and the relevant authorities and um get something done about it. So, what do you guys think? Uh what do you think I should do?
Because it is also the same. It's the same names that pop up all the time.
like over on these pages and I see them every now and again pop up on mine and then they get blocked. It's the same names popping up all the time. So, you know, these people are not difficult to find. Um, but whereas like I say, normally you might just put it down to some online trolling and just keyboard warriors or whatever, when it's closer to home and these are actually people that um live where you live and know where you go and do your shopping and are waiting for you in the supermarket when you get there. and possibly, you know, waiting wherever you are and following you around.
That's not that's not normal. That's not normal. And I see them trying to justify it over on these pages. And you think there's, you know, no, there's no justifying. The little stories that you've been fed are not true. Um, I don't, like I've said a million time, I don't have anything to um I don't have anything to hide. So, you know, it's just like I don't understand.
I just don't I just don't get any of it.
I don't understand any of it. And like I said before, you know, the people that um prey on people when they're vulnerable. And I'm not just talking about me here. I'm talking about actual vulnerable people in situations where they are looking for comfort in their lives, looking for things in their lives and they find these these people that are not nice people and they they use them for their own gain basically, but they believe that they have their best interest at heart and they really don't. It's actually quite it's quite worrying how many people there are online like that that set up these pages and have a little following of people that they get to go and do things for them. Um it's it's [snorts] not normal.
Uh so yeah, but when things start clicking into place and you realize that you might you you've figured out who these people are, it does give you some kind of clarity because you know you can actually do something about it.
Because when you get messages online and stuff like that, they're always from fake accounts and sometimes you find out who these people are and you know you can contact their work and things like that. [clears throat] um that kind of gives you somewhere to go with it. But quite often when there is no, you know, I'm not a computer expert, there's probably ways and means to find people, but it's quite often not worth it. When, like I say, it's close to home and you've actually worked out who these people are. Um, yeah, then you know you can do something about it.
So, I guess I'm sure there'll be people watching that have been through similar things. And if there are, then give us some um pointers of the best things that we can do, what should we be doing, um what shouldn't we be doing.
I'm already, like I said, screenshotting things and stuff like that, making sure I keep evidence like that. But, you know, if there's other things I should be doing or things I shouldn't be doing, please let me know. it would be much appreciated.
Um, but yeah, anyway, uh, it's not a hugely long one and today and I'm I I hope I've made sense. I'm still a little bit like um I don't really understand why people are like this and I find it really difficult because we're not doing anything wrong. Do you know what I mean? We're just we're just sharing what we do. And because of that, people will say, "Oh, you've made yourself a target." Why? Why haven't I made myself a target? I'm just sharing my life as a mom, as somebody who's got a large family, as somebody who's cooking for a large family, shopping for a large family. You know, I'm not overly exciting. Um, apparently. Anyway, um I [snorts] just like I've said before, we just want to make and we have so many lovely, lovely, lovely, absolutely lovely people following us and you guys are amazing. You know, you guys are great. Um, and we have so many comments about how we have helped you. And those comments outshine it. And I assume, you know, cuz you start to feel a little bit, especially when you think people have been watching you where you are, you start to feel that kind of overwhelming looking over your shoulder and all that sort of thing. And it's you guys that always bring me back to no, they are in the wrong. I am in the right. they're in the wrong. Um, with all your comments and support as always and especially over the last few months, it's meant so much so much to me. And I know I I don't necessarily talk about stuff as much as [laughter] I know I haven't been coming on and vlogging as much as normal, but I do appreciate everybody's support. I really do. Um, and something else.
Apparently, one of the comments said that I ran off to to Cornwall in a half after the Asda thing. I can assure you I didn't run off to Cornwall in a half.
I'll just remind you a few months ago my mom died and so I went to spend time with my family and I I can only assume that you people don't have anybody close in your life um that you would miss.
Um, so you don't know how that feels.
But anyway, [snorts] just crazy. Like the stories are crazy. And yeah, there is bits of our life that we don't share. And you know, just because we share our lives online doesn't mean that our entire life is public property because it's not.
There are plenty of bits that we don't share online. But because we don't share those bits, these people make up stories where there is none. um like between you know me and Ben, our relationship and the older kids and stuff like that when they don't know things about their lives um and our life, they'll make up a story about it because they need something to fit into that gap where we haven't, you know, where the bits are that we maybe don't want to share or we don't talk about. Um because that's just how life is. Um but really it's not that deep.
It's really not that deep. We're just a family trying our best to bring up our kids, to get ourselves back home to Cornwall, to earn a living, to do things right, um to bring up happy, healthy kids. Um and for some reason that pulls in an enormous amount of hate. But do you know what? You you're not going to stop us doing what we do. Um because like I've said a million times, we're not doing anything wrong by sharing. Um it's just really [sighs] I don't think sharing how I do my shopping or how I fold my clothes is last time I looked it wasn't against the law.
It really wasn't. How I do my washing, it's not against the law. Anyway, what is against the law is stalking people.
So back to that. Um, give me your advice, guys. I'd really like to hear it. Um, but until then, I hope you've enjoyed the video, guys. Don't forget to drop us a like and subscribe if you are not already subscribed. You right over there.
He's all right. He's happy. [music] He's happy. Um, all the links to everything we do are in the video description below and we will see you in the next video. Bye. [music] [music]
