I know what the article said about the woman who had gone missing in 1999. And I know that I did not call the police then or since. That is the part of the story I have never told anyone. That is the part I will probably have to carry for the rest of my life. Edit. A few people have asked why I didn't go back and watch the footage again later to verify what I'd seen. The footage was overwritten after 30 days. Standard hotel policy. By the time I found the suitcase, the footage was gone. I never thought to download a copy of it that night. I should have. I didn't.
