Non-linear thinking in ADHD involves making unexpected connections between unrelated topics through associative chains, where thoughts jump from one subject to another through seemingly random but internally logical pathways, often requiring explanation to others who may not share the same cognitive associations.

Does your mind race like this when you aren't streaming? Yes.
Which is why ADHD medication is nice sometimes because sometimes it's not happening.
But I used to get bullied for it.
And now that means that I kind of explain it. But sometimes, which I posted this TikTok in my Discord.
Someone will talk about something and then the thing that I say will sound completely wildly unrelated to what they've just said, but it's because I've connected it in a way that has happened like that brain blast meme where I've gone through a thousand different strings to connect me to the thing that I've just said.
There it is. But it's like if someone is like um Oh my gosh, that thunderstorm last night was uh so loud. Then I'll think Yeah, it was a loud thunderstorm. And I'll think, oh, back when I was in Florida, the thunderstorms there were really loud. And I'll be like, oh, when I was in Florida, I used to go to Publix all the time and their buttercream cakes were so good. And I then I'd go Oh, butter cream. Is that even made of butter?
Or is it something like I can't believe it's not butter?
I loved when my grandma used to put I Can't Believe It's Not Butter on my chocolate chip pancakes and I liked that more than when she would put butter on them. And I liked when my grandpa made the pancakes more because he would put the chocolate chips on top of the pancakes instead of inside of them and then I could spread them on there like chocolate.
Which is kind of like Nutella pancakes.
And so then I'd say out loud to them Oh.
Can we stop at the store and get some Nutella?
Or like I guess that is like a a normal thought, right? Cuz I do try to normalize my thoughts because of masking and stuff, but I might be like Let's have chocolate chip pancakes for dinner and they're like I was just talking to you about the thunderstorm. Why are you [ __ ] talking about chocolate chip pancakes?
Nutella's poison. Okay, so uh I have nothing to say to you.
You have happiness?
G Put happiness back in your life. What about some Biscoff spread? That's good.
My little midnight snack lately has been apples and Biscoff spread.
It's healthy. It's got apples.
Misery incarnate.
You're pretending and I know it.
I know you're pretending.
Because you have a dog. And people with dogs that are the kind of dog that you have they're happy guys. You can't fool me.
You can't fool me. Do you eat anything not full of sugar?
Yes.
For dinner last night I had a steak and roasted carrots and potato salad. I've got more potato salad in the fridge. I'm going to eat that after the stream.
Don't think you think Don't think you've seen him play League of Legends. Well, that's I don't think that's his fault though because I think like um You know how they did that experiment where they raised the monkey with like a robot and the robot had spikes all over it or whatever.
Or the monkey and that's how monkey got to eat food. But then there was a a monkey that was like really soft but didn't have food and the monkey preferred the soft one with no food even if it meant he didn't have dinner.
Well, sometimes people think their only option is monkey with spikes all over it like League of Legends. And so then when they when they are in that environment they are a product of their environment.
And that's why you [ __ ] forgot your potato salad.
[music] You're going to have to do a second order.
The steak was good. It was good. I felt bad cuz I was like I tried to avoid eating meat especially like steak and stuff like that when I can.
But then again, I haven't had any in a very long time. So I think um I saw something that was like if you want to be vegetarian, but you're like, "Oh man like I think autoplay has been Oh, no, it hasn't. I was going to say is it playing stuff that is not royalty free?
Um like I think when I've tried to do vegetarian, which I did for a couple of years, I've been like, "Oh man I had meat. That means I can't be a vegetarian anymore.
But you can also just be like, "Oh I just eat it way less a lot less and that's still better than nothing."
