Adelabu Declares Intention To Run For Oyo Governorship Election

[00:00:03]All roads literally leads to Obafemi Awolowo Stadium, Ibadan. Venue of the official declaration of intent for the Oyo governorship seat by the immediate past Minister of power, Adebayo Adelabu.

[00:00:16]The event drew an impressive crowd of supporters who came from all the 33 local government areas of Oyo state.

[00:00:33]The scorching sun notwithstanding, Adelabu's supporters turned up expressing their solidarity and trust in his ability to lead a party to victory and bring good governance to Oyo state.

[00:00:54]In his declaration, the former minister notes that the 2019 election alliance that robbed him of victory was just a delay in destiny and has emboldened him to return for the same purpose, which is to contest for the number one seat of Oyo state.

Adelabu notes that his focus is on economic revival, shared prosperity through inclusive growth, job creation as well as creating an environment where security would be driven by modern technology. He however underscored the need for unity among the APC fold. I have a message for the people of Oyo State.
