This video presents a 14-day weather forecast for Dallas-Fort Worth and North Texas, indicating that while temperatures will remain in the 90s with heat indices reaching 100°F, there are slim chances (5-20%) for isolated showers and thunderstorms, particularly during the work week, with no widespread rain or severe weather expected despite the summer season.

DFW Weather | Slim chances for rain this week in 14 day forecastAdded:
94 degrees, that's the temperature at Fort Worth right now. Heat index of 100.
Tis the season. 95 was the high today.
Uh the normal is 88 degrees, the record 103 set back in 1911.
Uh it right now it's 93, still very warm with a feels like of 96. South winds at 15. Grass, goosefoot, oak, and cottonwood, those are all lows. Uh here we go.
Dallas-Fort Worth dry, North Texas dry.
See these thunders This is where they've been popping up the last few days. It's out in the panhandle. Those will uh meet their demise pretty much in that same area. So, as we go through the rest of tonight, all activity stays west of our area. We are dry tonight. And we are dry on Monday. There's 7:00 in the morning, I'll take you through time cast. No showers or storms in North Texas.
Listen, I'll say this.
I say no showers or storms because it's about a 5%. The minimum I'm going to put on a forecast is 10.
You might get lucky or however you want to consider it unlucky enough, the odds are very stacked against you where you pop up under a little sprinkle or a brief shower. You know, the it's one of those situations where the sun will still be shining, but you might find yourself under a little bit of rain.
It's no significant rain. Tuesday, I'm bringing the chance to 10%. That's the better chance to see isolated to scattered showers and maybe a thunderstorm. There's 3:00 p.m. You see how it's starting to pop up here. It'll be scattered around the area. So, heat of the day type of activity expected on Tuesday, but low coverage. Same deal for Wednesday, just a tad higher Thursday and Friday.
This it's we're kind of entering Well, meteorological summer, June 1st. I know some Astronomical summer doesn't start for a little while longer, but we're in the summer months. What we expect this time of the year these more pop-up shower and thunderstorm activity, and that's what I have here. Uh Thursday, Friday, the 20%. So, some scattered rain, a few thunderstorms, Saturday 10% coverage. And then we can look at the highs.
Well, it's a a bit hotter tomorrow.
Today was 95, tomorrow 96, Tuesday 97, and then much closer to normal Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and next weekend will have high temperatures in the upper 80s and low 90s.
Looks very much like summer here in North Texas. Tonight 76° mostly clear skies, warm and muggy, breezy at times with south winds 10 to 20.
Tomorrow 96, hot afternoon tomorrow with lots of sunshine, southeast winds 5 to 10 mph. 14-day forecast 91 on Wednesday.
There are those chances for some isolated showers and thunderstorms.
Thursday and Friday, Saturday 87, another little chance for a shower or storm then. So, what I'll say about this, if you see those rain icons there and you see those chances for rain getting into the work week here, it's not widespread. We're not expecting severe weather, but as Teresa once told me, and she is always right, >> Ah.
>> any thunderstorm this time of the year can produce some pea-size hail or some gusty winds. I need to get a like a t-shirt with that on it.
>> [laughter] >> Because I feel like I say it all the time, but you get the idea. It is Texas, and this time of year we could see that in some of these thunderstorms, but overall, no widespread rain, not expecting much in the way of severe weather, but I do have lots and lots of 90s.
