The Hidden Secret Inside Einstein's Brain

[00:00:00]When Albert Einstein died, they biopsied his brain and he had less neurons per cubic centimeter of brain tissue than the average person.

[00:00:09]But he had significantly more neuron to neuron connections than the average person.

[00:00:15]And it's the neuron to neuron connections that make networks for information processing and we are not born with those significant connections.

[00:00:24]They develop based on application or exercise of the circuit.

[00:00:28]He spent tens of thousands of more hours contemplating deep problems [music] that required his brain to expand and make networks for contemplation and and [music] it we would have found the same thing and that would have been Einstein's prefrontal cortex where you have this higher critical reasoning going on. But if we could have biopsied Mozart's auditory musical fine motor skill processing circuits, you'd find the same thing in his because if you exercise those circuits, they actually build bigger and more complex networks and if you stop using them, they prune back and you lose those.
