[00:00:04]The first way is to replace acceleration with rotation. If you've ever been on a carnival ride that spins really fast, you know how powerful the centrifugal force can be. So, if future humans establish a rotating space habitat and position everything in such a way that the outermost edge is down, then people will feel absolutely fine. Well, almost.

[00:00:27]The other way to simulate gravity is to just keep moving. Einstein discovered that acceleration works in the same way, whether it comes from a massive gravitational object or the push of a rocket. And you can use that to your advantage. If you fire your rocket engines and maintain a constant acceleration of 9.8 m/s squared, you'll have no idea you're in a spaceship, unless you look out of the window, of course.
