Iranian Woman: Military Intervention is Not the Answer

[00:00:11]I've never been to Iran before. Talking to people my age about their perspective on things is interesting. I talked to a girl who speaks English and she kind of put it the best so far that I've heard.

[00:00:21]She said, "We have a lot of problems here, but there are problems to fix."

[00:00:24]>> Yeah. And forced regime change and intervention on the military level is not going to fast-track any societal progress. Yeah. That's a good point.

[00:00:30]>> definitely is stuck. Especially given our track record of Middle East intervention. I can't think of one country the US has pulled up to militarily and left off in a better place than prior.

[00:00:40]>> good point. Well, I just interviewed a woman and she said, "Have you covered wars?" And I said, "Afghanistan, Iraq."

[00:00:47]And she's like, "What's the commonality of those?" And you're like, "Oh, yeah.

[00:00:50]America is the aggressor." Which is interesting cuz I didn't think about it that way. But, I met a great guy, super good vibes, huge gentle giant with his kids. And I said, "What do you hope happens?" He goes, "I don't the work in tears."

[00:01:02]And I was like, "Okay. Thank you for your time." I was So, Shane goes, "Yo, send me a selfie." I forgot that I sent that. This is a real offhand random selfie that I never thought would end up on an official Iranian state press card.
