This video examines the complexities of US-China diplomatic relations during President Trump's visit to China, highlighting how economic interdependence (with 80,000 US companies investing in China and major corporations like Apple and Tesla having significant operations there) creates both opportunities and tensions in international relations. The content also explores how political rhetoric can contradict economic realities, as demonstrated by Republican representatives opposing electric cars while simultaneously bringing Tesla CEO Elon Musk to China for business discussions. The video emphasizes that effective diplomatic engagement requires mutual respect and recognition of economic partnerships, even when political messaging may seem contradictory.

China trip just got very strangeAdded:
All right. So, Donald Trump is on his way to China. You can see it here. It says, "President Donald J. Trump departs Washington DC for historic visit to China. He's getting on Air Force One."
And all of the leadup to this trip, which I guess he's currently on the way, was who's going to go with him, which companies are going to be represented, what kind of deals are going to be made, like like you know what's going on. And we finally got some info on that. And we turned out I showed you guys in the last video that Eric Trump is going uh this is then Trump. Eric Trump that is tweeting out I guess eight hours ago they stopped in Alaska. Quick refuel.
He's with his wife Laura Trump which obviously this is corrupt. You can see right there like Trump takes his kid and the kid takes his wife who's a Fox News person. It's like why are you going why are using taxpayer dollars to go on this thing and you have to remember this is that uh just yesterday he's tweeting out hey we're building a gold tower in the country of Georgia with Trump thing on it. Right. So, I wouldn't be shocked if they're going to go and try to do some sort of deal for him and his family to enrich themselves to build golf courses in China or buildings. So, that's probably why he's going. It's easy to figure out. This is from their own tweets. And I always show you guys his stuff because um you have to see it like for yourself like like it's it's it's right there. It's all open in public coming directly from them or when they disrespect China by this is from Lara Trump spelling China wrong with a big bunch of Y's and you know how Trump always says China, you know, stupid crap. Um, and this is highly disrespectful. Just think about this.
Like you're going to China to basically beg them to buy your soybeans. That's what it ends up being. And you're disrespecting them from from the get-go, right? And many people were writing in comments like this is like vacation for them taking vacation with their family to China. It's a it's a joke. These are unserious people. From the Chinese perspective, they put together um this video. This is from the Chinese embassy in the USA. And they're trying to indicate to USA that you got a bunch of company over here, right? So, for example, it says 80,000 US companies invest in China. 80% of Apple's core suppliers are in China. And then you got Tesla's Shanghai Gigafactory is like accounts for half of its global output, right? So, they're they're directly mentioning uh Tesla and Apple. And like a lot of companies are in China. And that was interesting from the US side, the early reporting on was that um the US was reluctant to bring too many people because they thought it might give too much power to China, which I thought was kind of interesting. Uh so who did they bring? And in fact, this is Elon Musk. This is just a couple hours ago. Musk says he's on Air Force One on my way to Beijing in Air Force One.
That's coming from Elon Musk. And then Trump tweeted out this thing that I guess Jensen Wong is on his way as well.
It says, "CNBC incorrectly reported that the great Jensen Wong of Nvidia was not invited to the incredible gathering of the world's greatest businessmen and women proudly going to China." In actuality, Jensen is currently on Air Force One and unless I ask him to leave, which is highly unlikely. CNBC's reporting is incorrect. As they say in politics, fake news.
So my understanding of it was is that again this thing was so poorly planned and everything was done at last minute um like we weren't getting list of like okay who's who's going and there wasn't even a schedule of events cuz you know if you're from the Chinese side and you don't know who the Americans are bringing how can you schedule anything right and then finally the last minute we got a schedule events and we got okay these are the people are coming and you know Jensen wasn't on there and now they're saying he's on Air Force One so probably I wouldn't doubt it. I mean, Trump does lie about a lot of things, but maybe he's not going to lie about who's actually on the plane. We'll find out, right? Um, then Trump's going to go on about opening up China. According to Trump, he says, uh, many others journeying. You can see a list of companies are going. Tim Cook's going to be there, it looks like. also um great country of China where I'll be asking President Xi a leader of extraordinary distinction to quote open up China so that these brilliant people can work their magic and help bring people's republic to even higher levels and remember China then that's why that that one video becomes important like you already got 80,000 companies over here so what more do you need from us right um says to bring the people's republic of China to even higher level okay uh in fact I promise that when we are together which will be in a matter of hours. I will make that my very first request.
Okay. I have never seen or heard of an idea that would be more beneficial to our incredible country is President Donald J. Trump. Great. And then um Musk was saying just Jens and I are on Air Force One. That's according to Musk.
So, I guess at least at least according to Musk, if that's true, then only Jensen and um Musk are on Air Force One and all the other SEOs are flying separately, which is fine. I'm I'm just saying, you know, who's who's being preference here or not. And it's hard to have these discussions about USChina stuff because I'll be frank with you guys. Um there's a bunch of people in the USA that are on Trump's camp that they're being fed anti-Chinese stuff like non-stop. And it's always an awkward thing because you can see how much business is done between the two countries. Many of Trump's people, right, buy Chinese goods non-stop if you all shop at Walmart or or otherwise. And then they just constantly hating on China, which is strange as well when you're going there, you know, because you need China to help you with Iran and also too, you need China to buy your soybeans and such. So, there's that. Um, this is also happening and this relates to the Elon Mus thing because we're talking about cars here and there was a discussion as well that you know would Trump then make some sort of deal with she to where like BYD or whatever Chinese companies are going to then build factories in the USA because that was Trump's whole plan remember to put tariffs on whatever country's goods right and then in order to get around that you have to come build factories in in US and so part of this discussion then would be what happens to cars. Um, this is an interesting part of that discussion. This is uh says GOP representative humiliates boy for writing a letter about electric cars.
Like so weird. And and the reason why I mentioned stuff is because if if you want China to come build stuff and and they've been expanding say their car market or whatever, but then you also spend all your time saying how much you hate electric cars, but then you're also bringing Elon Musk with you. like a lot of their their stuff is just really bizarre mixed messaging. And then the Republicans have to play to their base.
I think she's like 80 or something. And uh she got a letter from a a kid here.
And I'll show you this. Uh this is from the kid's mom. And uh it says 10-year-old had a school assignment. So that was her son. I think it's I think that's like fourth grade then, right? A 10-year-old had a school assignment to write a persuasive essay about a topic of his choice. Uh he wrote about the benefits of electric cars and suggested the government consider a tax rebate for electric cars. He mailed it to the uh North Carolina Representative Fox um in a school envelope with fourth grade on the return address. Clearly it was written by a a 10-year-old. The response was not okay. So, the response they got was like this really long letter and um they wrote this really weird thing about like your teachers teaching you propaganda and they're indoctrinating you. I I'll read it. Says um 2038 is only 12 years away and you and your classmates will be responsible for that debt. Incidentally, please ask your teacher to explain propaganda to you.
While I will never be able to know, my guess is that your teachers will not give you a good educational experience and will help you and help you to learn to think as they are too interested in indoctrinating you. How sad.
Weird, right? Um and then uh she had all these articles in the Wall Street Journal and stuff like that and talking about taxes and such, but it was kind of a really weird reply. Um, this is actually the kid then talking about >> Christian says the topic he chose >> we should have a $5,000 tax rebate be for electric cars because they're better than normal cars. They're better for the environment. You pay less and there's no gas, >> right? So, he mailed the the essay and then got that weird response and it's I just wanted you to hear from from the kid. Ask your teacher to explain propaganda to you, but I will never be able to know. My guess is that your teacher will not be able to give you a good educational experience by helping you to build a sink is they are too interested in indoctrinating you. How sad. Um my feeling on this stuff is is this represents a lot of the problems that we have have in the USA to where you you take you know which I consider a reasonable issue. Should the government support electric cars or or not or you know should we trade or China or whatever and the environment is like always politically charged and that the way we speak to each other is just like completely whacked out. So, you know, essentially what it is is you have this old woman then um you know, the representative attacking the kid's teacher. Uh and I and I heard about this and it's like the assignment itself seemed totally fine. You know, pick an issue that's interesting to you and write to your, you know, local politician or write to a company, whatever you want about your opinion on said thing. And then when you hear the kids description of it, which honestly I would have been the same as a kid. I'm I'm even the same today. I actually really like electric cars. I like new technology. I do. I really do. Um, sometimes the Tesla fanboys always act like I don't like electric cars just because I don't like Tesla. It's it's it's just because I know about all of the brands in the world, not just one.
There's lots of brands in the world, right? And and and from the kids point of view, which seems logical to to to me, like, hey, if gas is expensive and gas is dirty, shouldn't we do something else? Right? I don't think it's anything bizarre, but I don't know. It's that they give these weird answers all the time. And so then like say when we when we go through this stuff and it's like open corruption, you know, and and I'm just I'm just telling you guys the truth on this stuff. Um you'll see MAGA come in and they'll write all these so weird comments always call me I'm dumb all the time and Trump's the greatest and he's going to save the country and it's like oh my god it's it's so whacked out. And so that's why I just want you to hear like how regular people have to even, you know, even kids have to deal with how like strange these, you know, MAGA people and Republican people act. It's it's just weird.
>> The 10-year-old says he's upset Fox went after his teacher when Christian was the one who chose the topic of his essay.
>> I think that was wrong.
>> And why?
>> Because the school didn't do anything.
And I'm sure just even making this video, they get upset and say, "Oh, you're so wrong. School is dumb.
Teachers are dumb. They're indoctrinating kids to write letters."
And and I I just laid out the issue. You can heard the kid from himself. If anything sounds unreasonable with what the kid is saying, please let me know.
You I don't think it's from again from a kid's perspective, like, "Hey, I like electric cars. We should have more of them, right?" That's basically what it boils down to. Um so that's where we're at. Uh Trump should be arriving any moment. I'll let you guys know updates on that. I'm sure he'll say something stupid. I'm sure crazy crap will happen.
It's also unpredictable. Um, and that's my thoughts.
