Political endorsements from influential figures can significantly impact electoral outcomes, even when traditional factors like incumbency and prior electoral success suggest otherwise. In the 2026 Texas Senate runoff, incumbent Senator John Cornyn, who had won four previous elections and supported Donald Trump 90% of the time, lost to Ken Paxton, the state Attorney General, largely because Donald Trump endorsed Paxton. This demonstrates that political endorsements from powerful figures can override conventional electoral advantages, and that candidate characteristics such as perceived corruption or criminality may become less relevant when a major political figure endorses a candidate.

YT LIVE PODCAST - 05/27/2026 - RATIONAL BOOMER PODCASTAdded:
We are back on the Rational Boomer podcast. Hopefully your day is going well.
It is Wednesday when you hear this, but we're recording it Tuesday night, and we're recording it on a YouTube live.
It's been a little while since we've done a YouTube live, but I thought what the heck, we did a Substack, we did a TikTok. Got some other people coming up this week. I've got a TikTok live coming up tomorrow, so I thought this was a very opportune time to hit YouTube and see what kind of crowd we can pull in here. Uh it's usually a little slower going at first, but eventually we get a good crew of people in here, and that is absolutely necessary.
Uh we need the input from the people in the audience so that we can put on a decent show here.
I mean, I can talk for an hour.
No question about that. I can talk for an hour.
I can't promise you it's going to be entertaining or informative.
So, that's why we need some people popping in, and we're seeing people already popping in.
The main story tonight, of course, is that uh runoff election in Texas.
Got a runoff election in Texas, and this is a runoff for the Republican nomination for the US Senate.
Now, the two combatants in this runoff, John Cornyn.
He is the sitting incumbent senator in the race.
The other is the sitting Attorney General from the state of Texas.
Now, this should be a no-brainer. This should be easy. John Cornyn has won four elections. He's served four terms.
He supports Donald Trump. He voted with Donald Trump 90% of the time. So, he was a good bet for Donald Trump and everybody [ __ ] else.
But there was something about John Cornyn that Donald Trump didn't like, or maybe it was that he liked more about Ken Paxton, the current Attorney General.
You see, Ken Paxton is a corrupt, criminal, immoral piece of [ __ ] So, he and Donnie had a lot in common.
And he maybe felt like that Paxton would be more loyal and more frequently to bend the knee.
So, he put his support behind Ken Paxton. Now, the interesting thing about this was that in the primary John Cornyn beat Paxton by a couple of percentage points.
Beat Paxton.
So, the only thing that's changed since they're having this runoff now is that Donald Trump endorsed Paxton. And I know Cornyn was working very hard to get Paxton or get Donald Trump to endorse him, but he didn't do it.
Well, it's looking like now Paxton is going to win easily in that runoff. Like 63 to 37% or something like that. I mean, it's not even [ __ ] close.
A guy who's the incumbent who's a sitting member of the House or the Senate and he's getting beat by the Attorney General of the state of Texas by 20 or 30 points. That's crazy.
What can you attribute that to? Well, you can only attribute it to Donald Trump. Donald Trump's endorsement is the big difference.
Now, people will say, "Well, now that means Donald Trump's pretty powerful."
Yeah, amongst Trump [ __ ] When it comes to the general election, that's going to be an entirely different deal.
Fact of the matter is, I was hoping Paxton would win because I think James Talarico, who's the Democratic nominee, will have a better chance against Paxton.
Paxton's got a lot of skeletons.
He's a [ __ ] real piece of work, a piece of [ __ ] And that's all going to come out during the campaign. And Talarico is such a nice kid.
He's pretty even-tempered, very smart, very articulate. He's religious, which should go over well down in Texas.
And uh uh Ken Paxton's wife just divorced him for biblical reasons. I wonder what that meant.
Anyway, so right now we're seeing what the situation is in uh Texas for the Senate race.
James Talarico against Ken Paxton.
And I would suggest this. I would suggest this is probably the best chance we've seen in decades for a Democrat to win the Senate seat in Texas. And if that happens, oh, there's going to be a lot of pissed off Republicans. The fact of the matter is most Republicans understand what I'm saying here and don't disagree.
And the Republicans are pissed off at this point.
The other problem that comes into play, John Cornyn, who's always supported with Donald Trump, has no reason to do that anymore. He's got nothing to lose. Neither does Rand Paul. Neither does Bill Cassidy. Neither does Tom Tillis. Whoop, there's four senators that have been alienated by Donald Trump, which is bad news when you consider the fact that the Republicans majority in the Senate is three seats.
This could make things very tough for some of the things Donald Trump wants, anywhere from judge appointments to building a [ __ ] arch.
He's going to have a lot of problems.
All right, let's see who's out there.
David Wells says, "Love your podcast.
Keep it going." Thank you, David. I appreciate it. That that encouragement is helpful. When you do a podcast every day, it can get a little tedious. It can get a little tiring, especially when you're an old [ __ ] man like me. But I'm here, happy to do it, and I'm ever so grateful that there are people who actually want to listen to it. So, thank you.
Obi-Mom Kenobi, "Hello, Mike. I think Texas is going to flip blue so hard.
Just a guess."
I'm getting that feeling, too. I am, too. You know, there there has to be a time when things change.
And you know, a lot of people are looking at Texas and other parts of the country and thinking, "No, it can't.
It's always done this. It's going to do that."
But like with the gerrymandering, Donald Trump is looking at how the electorate reacted in November of 2024.
Well, we're in a different parallel universe at this point. We're not in the same place we were when we were in November of 2024.
Economy's gone to [ __ ] the Epstein files, um kidnapping kids off the street, killing innocent people in the streets. There's a lot of bad things going on with the Republicans. The economy sucks and it's all on the Republicans. So, you can't really compare anything today with what happened in November of 2024.
And I tend to agree with you, Obi Bomb Kenobi.
It's about time we get a major seismic shift.
And it looks like we're approaching something like that.
Richard Phillips says, "This is a treat." I don't know, Richard, if it's a treat.
Uh I'm talking all day, so it's it's easy to find me, but thank you. Uh CC0957 says, "Hello, Boomer." Hey, dude or gal.
Hit the thumbs up to get a few more viewers, chat.
Obi Bomb Kenobi, uh Benny Loco, they're always out there hyping you guys up for me. I I never ask anybody to hit subscribe or hit likes or anything like that. I figure if you're going to do it, you're going to do it.
If you're not, that's okay.
Uh does Kamala have a chance in 2029?
Does she have a chance?
Well, sure she has a chance.
I don't know that she'll be the nominee. I don't even know that she should go for the nomination.
She has some things going for wrong for her. She has that stigma of having lost the race to Donald Trump. That's not good.
And in November of 2024, we came to uh realize something that's very disturbing about this country.
Apparently, this country is racist to a certain extent and sexist.
I don't know how a black woman would do in the race in 2028.
I would love to see Kamala as president.
I think she'd be a fabulous president.
But here's the thing. In 2028, we can't afford to lose. We can't take any [ __ ] chances.
We got to win.
Whatever it takes, if it has to be a white guy, then get a white guy in there. But once we get the white guy in there, we can do some changes, and then maybe uh a person of color or a woman down the road.
Now, that's that was Eric was talking about yesterday. It's too early to really tell. Some things can change. AOC is hinting at running for president.
Another young woman I think would be a fabulous president.
It's hard to say. If we're looking at 2024, and I just told you not to look at 2024 because we're in a different world.
Uh I'm worried about the racism and the sexism in this country. Really am.
But if Kamala did run, and if she were the nominee, have no problems uh voting for. Same with AOC. I'd vote for her, too.
By the 38, US Texans are out of their goddamn minds.
You know, Will, I was thinking about the same thing.
I was thinking, yeah, your lord and savior, Daddy Trump.
Yeah, he uh he endorsed Paxton.
But Paxton is a profound piece of [ __ ] I mean, every step of the way he's grifting, his immorality, his lying, his cheating, his gaslighting.
You mean to tell me there are that many people in Texas that would vote for him just because Donald Trump who embodies all those other qualities as well would vote for him because Johnny Donnie Trump told him to.
That's pitiful. That's pitiful.
I need to talk to Jace about that. He's our our um Texas buddy who's on the show frequently.
Uh obscure camera. Hello. Yay, you're live on YouTube. Well, this was a very opportune time to do this.
Uh my wife's out of town. Nobody's in the house but me. I can talk as loud as I want. I can talk as long as I want.
So, uh it was an opportune time and I'm an opportunist, so I took that opportunity.
Um Vincent Johnny, best guest as to when Trump will invade Cuba.
When he needs a bump in the uh uh in the polling. I don't know that he's actually going to go after Cuba.
I think things are going so badly with Iran the people around him are trying to keep him out of there.
There's nothing really to gain by going in there.
Um if it were Donald Trump making the decisions alone alone, it'd be tomorrow.
Um but I think people are holding him back and I think they're trying to say, "Look, man, you got a [ __ ] mess already. You better clean this [ __ ] up before you start another mess."
Gary Hack says, "Hi Mike, keep it up."
Thank you.
Um Lisa De Witt says, "I hope Massie stays mad and keeps talking."
Oh, I think there's no question Massie is going to stay mad. He was talking about pushing further with the Epstein files. He said, "We accomplished a lot in 6 months and I'm here for another 6 months, so get [ __ ] ready." There's even talk of Massie going on the House floor and listing off the names of the men, the criminals, the abusers in the Epstein files. Now, we'll see if that actually happens.
Uh, but I think Massie's going to be tough.
I don't think he's going to vote with Donald Trump at all.
And that's saying something given that the house already has a slim margin for the Republicans. You just lost one, Donnie. You cut your nose off to spite your face.
Crash out Carl, any thoughts on flat Earth? I heard his popularity is picking back up in the Republican Party.
Flat Earth, you got to give me the name.
I'm not that hip.
Um, say his name and it appears, yeah.
I'm not sure who you're talking about flat Earth.
Uh, mias mia red I'm positive AOC would be far better than Kamala.
Kamala was also saddled with a campaign she only had 100 days to run in though.
Yeah, a lot of people trying to decide with their autopsy as to why Kamala Harris lost and Eric and I talked about this yesterday and I think he and I agree there's a lot of reasons she lost. She only had 100 days to run a campaign.
Um, she couldn't step outside what Biden was supporting and this was a time when people were looking for change. The Democrats did very little to help her because there were some people that didn't like her and some people that did like her.
They couldn't get any unity from the Democrats to put her over the top. And lastly is what I said before, we've come to find out there's more racism and sexism in this country than we thought.
And I'll be perfectly honest, in my opinion, her race wasn't as uh, debilitating as her sex.
Now, as far as I I don't have a problem with electing a woman as president, and I don't think a lot of men do unless you're Trump or Fox and you wouldn't vote for anyway.
There are a lot of women in this country that will push back as a on a woman who's the uh nominee.
I don't know why that is, and the only reason I know that is cuz my wife told me, and I listen to whatever my [ __ ] wife says.
I will tell you one other thing. Today Today is my wife's birthday. She's not listening to this live, I'm sure, but uh happy birthday, Cindy. She's the same age as I am, 66 years old. Uh so, happy birthday to her.
Now, you're probably saying, "Why aren't you spending time with your wife on her birthday?"
Well, because she's in Florida at Marco Island with her teacher buddy friends.
She's having a hell of a time. I get to sit here by myself and uh talking YouTube, so. Fair trade.
>> [snorts] >> Uh Lisa DeWitt, you described Paxton and it was Trump down to the core as well.
Yeah, absolutely, and I think that's why Donald Trump endorsed him. They're like uh soul brothers, you know, they're they're they're they're connected.
Every immoral, every corrupt, every criminal things it's like Donald Trump is Ken Paxton's mentor.
And that's apparently why they hooked up.
Next week is the jungle primary where here in California, who do you think will run for the governor seat in November?
I'm not sure what a jungle primary is.
I'm in Minnesota, so I don't know a lot of [ __ ] about who will run for governor.
Uh [ __ ] I don't even know. It was it the Becerra? Isn't it Becerra that's the one that's the kind of frontrunner for the Democrats?
I don't know much about him.
I know Spencer Pratt is running for LA mayor and he's getting some traction in California. Look, Spencer Pratt back in his day when he was on reality television, nobody liked the [ __ ] Nobody liked his wife.
Why is he a hot ticket now in this mayoral race? I'll be honest with you. I would just assume see a Democrat or whoever win the mayorship in LA, but in the scheme of things, it's not the biggest of my worries.
Analytical Iowan, fewer Republicans voted in this run off run off than the first primary and then Democrats for both to look Talarico and Crockett combined.
Yeah, that's a telling sign. That is a telling sign when you start seeing more Democrats come out and vote in Texas than you do Republicans.
And the reason that's telling, you know, whenever I've talked to Jace who's down in San Antonio, Texas, um he said, "We got a lot of Democrats down here, but they won't get off their ass to vote."
And if they're getting off their ass to vote in run offs and primaries, I think that's a good sign for the upcoming general elections. I think you'll see a lot more Democrats voting and if that happens, well, Democrats win with more voters.
Um Jamie Moray Boomer, good evening. We need a fourth Republican besides Cassidy, Cornyn, and Tillis to jump ship to screw Trump's agenda for the time being. Well, we do have one, Jamie.
Rand Paul.
Rand Paul's not exactly Donald Trump's buddy, so we do have four.
Um but don't worry. As things go on here, Donald Trump's going to piss off even more people than those four.
Donald Trump is swirling the toilet at this point. It's not going well and uh it's just going to continually get worse.
Sally says, "Heard Massie's running in 2028."
Well, Sally, you may have heard that from me.
And I'm not saying that based on any kind of factual information.
It was my suggestion when I was talking to Eric. I haven't heard anybody say that Massie's running for president. In fact, I hear that Massie already filed to run for his seat again in 2028. That doesn't mean he won't run for president.
Why I said that was when Donald Trump is done and gone, one way or another, the Republicans are going to be scurrying around trying to rehabilitate themselves.
Without Donald Trump leading the pack, they're going to have to try to straighten things out for the Republican Party. They're going to have to get better candidates. And most everybody in Congress has been complicit with Donald Trump or a sycophant with Donald Trump.
So, these people will all be tainted, and they're going to have to try to find a way to rehabilitate themselves come the 2028 election.
Who's the one person that's clean, if you will?
That would be Massie. He's a Republican, he's conservative, but he pushed back against Donald Trump. And when Donald Trump is gone, mark my words, he's going to be a [ __ ] pariah. Anybody that was his buddy is going to stink like Donald Trump stinks.
Massie's clean.
So, I'm not saying he's running in 2028, but if I were a Republican and I needed to create um distance from Donald Trump and rehabilitate the party, I would look to Massie or somebody like Massie. And there ain't too many of them.
Rubio and other Cuban exiles seem to be the group who are probably pushing for invading Cuba.
I just, you know, I I what's the point.
Do they have resources we want?
Are they committing genocide? There's nothing like that going on down there.
Um in talking on the podcast before, I'm kind of convinced that more than likely what's going to happen with Cuba is that they're going to revert back to the '50s, let the mob run it, and have a bunch of resorts and casinos. That's probably what they're going to do.
And honestly, with Cuba, I don't care what they do with Cuba. In the scheme of things, it doesn't affect us.
Um but if you're going to send troops in there and send our guys and gals to war, that's a problem. I I I I just don't get what the advantage is, what what they hope to gain.
Uh we are still dealing with cold leftover Cold War stuff. Yeah, I guess I guess we are to a certain extent.
Republicans are losing fast, says David Wells. Yeah, you noticed, didn't you?
Yeah, they're losing fast, and they're starting to break apart.
They can't come together on anything.
The reconciliation bill that they needed to pass, they knew it was getting shaky, so they just took off and went on vacation.
They got to come back next Monday.
Probably thinking things will have cooled off and gotten better.
I guarantee you that's not the case.
It won't be easier. They're going to have to address it eventually.
Um Gaza was a big problem for Kamala, big time. Yeah, it was. And she wasn't really allowed to say what she really thought. She had to run the uh the comments along with Joe Biden.
A lot of people were talking about Gaza and Kamala's stance on it.
How you [ __ ] feeling now?
Gaza's getting cleared out, tens of thousands of people murdered, innocent people.
You didn't vote for Kamala cuz you thought some she was going to go in there and rip apart Gaza. Why you didn't vote for and you got exactly what you were afraid of because you allowed that orange stupid [ __ ] to win the race. I hope you're proud of yourself cuz you [ __ ] you progressives that didn't vote for Kamala because you were afraid of him starting a war.
You [ __ ] got blood on your hands right now.
Lisa says, "I'd vote for Hillary." Well, Hillary's getting a little long in the tooth and Hillary has some problems, but I do think she would have been a good president. She knows how to uh stand on business, get things done and uh you ain't going to [ __ ] with her.
Uh Mesmia Red says, "Happy birthday to Cindy Boomer." I'm sure she will appreciate that.
I have a feeling she's probably about three deep in margaritas at this point and if she's using her brain, three is her limit. You go to four, it gets goofy.
You go to five we got trouble.
Fortunately, our friends down there and they're going to have to deal with her at this point.
All right, Gordon Roberts says, "Hello, Boomer." Hey, Gordy.
Uh Obscura Camera Becerra is the front runner, Steyer is also the Democratic front runner.
Yeah, Steyer. Steyer likes to talk a good game, but he's a billionaire. And I'll be honest with you, there are no billionaires that I [ __ ] trust. None of them.
Why would we trust them?
He's got a different perspective on life and economics than we do. I'd rather have somebody that understands the circumstances of this country.
And that's one of the problems with the Democrats. They talk about these policies and plans. If they want to win in 2026 and 2028, Democrats have to recognize the problems the middle class, the younger people in this country are struggling with. You can have a great stock market, you can have low unemployment, but if people can't afford their student loans, they can't qualify for houses, they can't afford to pay for their apartments, they don't have health care, you're not addressing the problems. And that's what the Democrats got to do. They got to say, "Okay, this other stuff's cool, but you people, we need something to have happen that will fix your situation.
Acknowledge it and explain how you're going to fix it. Then you'll start winning elections."
Uh Dictator Donnie has always been in Putin's pocket. Yeah, he has.
Uh and in Netanyahu's pocket, too.
Donnie came out and said, "We've got a plan, a concept of a plan, a framework to end this war."
He's pretty excited about it, thought it was going to wrap it up and he can't wait to pull out of Iran.
Can't wait because he got sucked into it. Now he's stuck and everything's going to [ __ ] so he wants to get out.
He hears about this plan, he says, "Fuck, I'll sign anything." But then the plan leaks out and we see what he's given up.
[ __ ] Way worse than what Obama had. And then Israel hears about it and then the uh senators that support Israel, like Lindsey Graham, hear about it and they go, "No, no, no, no, you don't. You're not signing that [ __ ] thing."
Here's the thing, Netanyahu doesn't want the end to the war, regardless of what the deal is. He doesn't want the end to the war.
Cuz if the war ends, then he can be finished his trial for uh war crimes, and he'll go to jail as well as lose his job.
He thinks keeping the war happening uh will keep him safe.
He even said that even if you do something like that, that's not going to stop us from bombing Lebanon. Well, you know, Iran's not going to tolerate that.
Then Donald Trump comes out, throws out this little red herring.
He says, "Contingent to this deal, I want every Middle Eastern company uh country to join the Abraham Accords." Well, that's not going to happen. Saudi Arabia's not going to do it.
Um so, what Donald Trump can say is when it does when the deal doesn't get done, "Well, I wanted it to, and I was very strong about the Abraham Accord. That's a good thing. We We should do it. It's those [ __ ] that just don't want to do it." Donald Trump was looking for an excuse not to get this deal signed cuz he knew he [ __ ] up again.
Um you just can't believe anything he [ __ ] says.
>> [clears throat] >> What do you think is the real reason for Dirty Diaper Donnie's trip to Camp David? Is he running away again? Well, that's an interesting question.
I was talking about that earlier. And I of course I don't know why he went to Camp David, but he rarely goes to Camp David. You know, most presidents go to Camp David to get away from it and relax and stuff.
And that may be the case with Donald Trump in this situation, but think about what happened today.
Donald Trump went in for his third annual medical checkup and some serious dental work. He was at Walter Reed today.
He gets out of Walter Reed and goes to Camp David. Now, the interesting thing about this checkup, I'm sure all of you have had checkups.
And for me, when I have a checkup, I go in, see the doctor for about 20 minutes, and they kick my ass out. Take my card and kick my ass out.
Donald Trump was in there for half the day, 4 or 5 hours.
That's kind of unusual for a checkout business, I have a feeling maybe they did some procedures on him or something, and he needs to stay out of the limelight for a while because of bruising or whatever the [ __ ] so they sent him to Camp David so he can stay there. Oh, he's been working so hard, he needs to just relax for a little bit.
I think it's more likely he's recovering from something or something else is going on that they want to hide until he can maybe come out of it.
There is something to why he went to Camp David. We don't know what it is, but it isn't um isn't just because he got a wild hair and wanted to go.
Paul Anderson says Trump wants to establish 50's Cuba. I tend to agree with you. I mean, what else could you want to do with Cuba?
In the 50's, Cuba was like a Las Vegas, except there were no US laws cuz it's not a US country. The mafia ran everything. There were there were clubs, there were resorts, there were casinos.
I tend to agree with you. Donald Trump wants to set up his mafia and oligarch buddies, give them some play land, you know, their version of Disneyland for adults, crime and corruption.
Uh Gordon Robert says, "Why invade Cuba?
We've already lost one current war."
Yeah, we've lost several of the last wars. I don't think we'd lose to Cuba, it's just too small. I mean, do you know what kind of military they have? It's just it's pointless. It's just doesn't make any sense.
Uh Vincent Johnny says, "Trump fired women and appointed white incompetent men in cabinet positions or put men in acting positions so not to be vetted by Congress. Yeah, that's that's the standard fare for Donald Trump.
Did you know that we have a need in this administration for a total of like 175 ambassadors for countries around the world?
You know how many actual ambassadors we have on the job currently?
Actually, you know how many openings there are for ambassadors in this current administration?
Out of 175, there's 115 vacancies.
This was part of Donald Trump's first term. He couldn't get everybody appointed and put into their positions.
And when he did, he got somebody incompetent, so they just [ __ ] up anyway.
Donald Trump's not good at running an organization, a small company, let alone an entire country.
Obi Mom Kenobi says Becerra embarrassed himself during an interview, kind of whined about taking tough questions.
You know, Obi, I hate Republicans. I want all Republicans gone, but there are so many Democrats I'm [ __ ] tired of.
They're weak, they're stupid, and in some ways just as bad as Republicans.
I've said before, I can't worry about Republicans and Democrats at the same time. I usually work things out a step at a time, one problem at a time. We must eradicate the Republicans, then we need to laser focus on the Democrats and straighten their [ __ ] out because they're some [ __ ] up people. And Becerra, you're trying to win the governorship, so you're whining about tough questions? How are you ready to be a governor if you can't answer a [ __ ] tough question?
Uh, Kamala signing those bombs were a problem for Kamala.
Bombs.
You're going to have to enlighten me here. Um, either I don't remember or I'm just too [ __ ] tired to remember. I don't know.
I wish Elizabeth Warren was younger or Bernie. Yeah. Yeah, I tend to agree with you. They're both very sharp politicians. Bernie's far too old.
Uh, Elizabeth's not that bad, but she's getting up there, too.
Um, but we've got people coming up like those two. Like I said, AOC.
She's very much a Bernie protege.
Bernie's even pretty much endorsed her.
So, we've got some young people of the same ilk coming up.
Vincent says there's a huge resource war going to happen in Africa will be a huge target.
Yeah, you know, we we we haven't realized the real problems that are coming economically or in terms of resources.
Uh, and you're absolutely right. There's going to be a lot of focus on Africa.
They have a lot of the resources we need.
Uh, and we're running out of these resources cuz Donald Trump is a dumb [ __ ] All right, Spacer says, "Hey Micah, I had a thought and I want you to hear me out.
I kind of want Trump to live to see the 2028 Republican primary with Trump is not the center of attention. He'll have to bear embarrass himself publicly."
Yeah, Eric said another thing yesterday on the podcast. He said, "Donald Trump wants to run in 2028?
Bring it on, bitch."
Because constitutionally he can't. If they make him the nominee and he runs for re-election, then every vote that goes to him doesn't count. And like Eric said, if that's the case, then Democrats win easily by a landslide winning all 50 states. Now, I don't know if that's how it plays out.
Um I don't care, you know, just looking at Donald Trump and knowing what we know about Donald Trump, he ain't got long.
The clock is ticking. The expiration date is imminent.
But I don't mind him experiencing and watching getting embarrassed. That is the one thing that Donald Trump cannot take.
And I would love to see him suffer that embarrassment. Now, I will tell you this, if he lives past the midterms, that's when it's going to start. If there is the blue wave that we expect, Republicans are going to kick him to the curb. He's going to want to exercise power, and he's not going to have any.
So, he's going to experience that that embarrassment then. So, I'm okay with that.
Uh Obi Mom Kenobi, there are no ethical billionaires. Now, yeah.
I I think you're probably right.
One way or another, I think you're right. Who's the one guy God, I can't remember his name. [ __ ] tired. You know who I'm talking about.
The nice guy billionaire, the old guy.
Maybe he's a nice guy, maybe he's not.
Uh Vincent says, "The American people have not felt the consequences of the big beautiful bill yet. It will hit after the midterms." Yeah, you're absolutely right. I mean, they planned it out that way. A lot of these things that are going to impact this country, they set up to blow up after the midterms, so they could try to save themselves going into the midterms.
Little did they know that Donald Trump would blow it up before the midterms, so it didn't make a difference holding on to that.
A Vincent, I saw Daniel Smith on a of Alberta maybe on her way out. Polls show this Alberta secession is a distraction.
It won't go anywhere. Now we're talking Canada politics. I really don't know much about that. Uh maybe uh Cal Canada J is around and he might be able to answer some questions.
Will Donald Trump turn his back on BB Netanyahu?
Good question.
Is Donald Trump um so loyal to BB Netanyahu cuz he loves Israel and he loves BB Netanyahu?
I guarantee you that's not the case.
It's definitely not the case.
So there's got to be something else.
What could that be?
Well, it's something Donald Trump and his buddies have lo- liked so long.
Blackmail.
Again, I don't want to get out into a conspiracy theory.
But is it would it be surprising to know that BB maybe has some Epstein files evidence?
I mean, think about this. Jeffrey Epstein was thought to have been some kind of asset for Israel.
He was very close to Israel leaders.
He had all the goods on everybody including Donald Trump.
When he became president, that evidence became huge leverage.
So does BB have that leverage?
I don't know.
But I wouldn't be surprised.
Will Donald Trump walk away? He'll try to walk away cuz he's a [ __ ] He'll try to walk away cuz he can't get anything fixed. He thinks the moment he walks away, the Strait of Hormuz opens and the oil prices drop immediately.
He's going to be disappointed because it's going to take months for the oil prices to drop. We're in May.
June, July, August, September, October, that's 5 months.
If they're going to drop the oil prices, they better get going now because they aren't likely to drop by the election.
Gordon Roberts, "Sorry Boomer, I just found out [ __ ] Donnie has changed his mind and isn't going to Camp David." I thought he was already there.
Now I got to check that out. I got the impression he was already at Camp David.
Maybe he's back now.
Uh I don't know, but that was an interesting move and you have to wonder why he went to Camp David. Maybe he's not going cuz people were asking questions.
Nevada Mike says Trump will be gone in 2 years.
Hopefully before then.
Um It may be 2 years before he's gone.
I'm thinking 8 9 months.
If he's still here, he'll be inconsequential.
He'll be impotent both sexually and politically.
Um he won't be worth anything.
If we get the House and the Senate, his uh presidential um term is pretty much done.
Uh did you hear about Hawaii state legislature overturning Citizens United in the state? Hopefully this will open the door for the South Carolina to re-look the ruling.
And and by time then, SC will be reformed.
I didn't hear about that with Ohio Iowa uh Hawaii. Um we do need to get Citizens United gone though.
That may be the single biggest problem we have with politics today. That much money in politics makes it impossible uh for anybody but oligarchs to decide who's going to be elected office.
I'll look into that Hawaii thing. I'm not sure.
Gordon BB has something on Dick dictator Donnie, probably Epstein related, same as Putin.
[ __ ] Donald Trump. Yeah.
I I tend to agree with you. I mean, what we're finding out about politics, international and uh um local politics, it's dirty as [ __ ] I mean, Donald Trump has brought everything to the surface and the corruption, the criminality, the blackmails, the dirt, it's thick in the political realm and I you know, I can't say for sure cuz I don't know, but my gut would tell me 100% BB Netanyahu has dirt on Donald Trump that Donald Trump's terrified to get out.
Uh Eric says, "I think he wants to get Cuba to expand US. He wants his legacy of adding territory. He thinks it will make him looking good in the history books."
>> [snorts] >> Yeah, I tend to agree with you. There's there's some truth to that, too.
Um you notice you notice the uh interesting similarities between Putin, Trump, and Netanyahu.
Putin's trying to get Ukraine.
Donald Trump's trying to get any country that he can get over on, Greenland, Cuba, Iran. He's always talking about a 51st state.
And um that's what Netanyahu's doing, too. He wants to annex Gaza. He wants to annex Lebanon.
These people are [ __ ] freaks. They don't mind killing people, women, and kids just so they can get some extra land so they look tough and they think they enhance their legacy.
I think they're mistaken.
I think these [ __ ] will go down in history as absolute jokes and pariah.
Nevada Mike says time to move to Vietnam. I've heard some good things about Vietnam.
Seen some videos and stuff.
Curtis Baldwin gives me the name of that billionaire nice guy, Warren Buffett.
For all intents and purposes, Warren Buffett seems to be a good guy.
But we don't know that for sure. If you amass billions of dollars, there's got to be some [ __ ] up [ __ ] that you've been involved in.
Uh Spacer says, "We know billionaires can't be trusted. Bezos drops 3 billion to help Mondani with his free child care plan, then later gives the plea to not tax the rich."
There is no other way to do this but to tax the rich.
How how how crazy is it to expect everybody in this country, whether you're a billionaire or you're broke, to pay your fair share of taxes? That's all we're asking. We're not asking uh the rich people to pay more. Just don't pay less than us. You've got more money.
Uh Kirk says, "It's not a conspiracy theory when you look at the facts." I think you're talking about the blackmailing uh Benjamin Netanyahu.
Yeah, that that's what I mean. You look at the facts. They're all circumstantial facts, but uh it does really point to somebody having something over Donald Trump's head.
Uh Okra says, "I heard from Aaron Parnas that Camp David was called off." Well, if you heard it from Aaron Parnas, it's probably true.
I had not heard that it was called off.
Um So, I wonder if he's going to Mar-a-Lago.
Or he's going to stay at the White House and work so hard.
Lou says he canceled the trip. Okay, he canceled the trip.
Fabian Bradley says, "Got us in a war and building a UFC cage on the White House lawn." Yeah, I saw that.
For his birthday, he's going to have a UFC event.
Now, he went around telling people, "Oh, there's going to be 20, 30,000 people there."
20, 30,000 people, they all want to come out to the White House to see this UFC event.
You know how many people are going to be there? About 4,500 people.
What he didn't consider was most people wouldn't have an interest and the security issues of letting people on the White House proper grounds. That's not going to happen.
So, the audience is all going to be military personnel required to go. So, that that should be awesome.
Uh some Republican Republican election deniers are running governorships in some states. They can do quite the damage if elected.
They can.
But usually these goofy [ __ ] don't get elected.
All right, Spacer.
I really don't understand Netanyahu's end game. He puts his stock in Trump to keep the war going. Trump isn't long for anything. Biden pushed back on Netanyahu and the next president will do the same.
We really have to do that. We we have to as long as Netanyahu and this government is in charge of Israel, we need to cut ourselves off from them.
We can't keep paying tens and billions of dollars to a country that commits genocide.
The other thing we need to determine whether or not they have um nuclear weapons. They would have you believe they do, but But never admit they do. They don't talk about where they are, what they do, or how much they have.
People often wonder, "Why do they not tell us whether they have nuclear weapons?"
Well, they don't tell us they have nuclear weapons because if we knew they had nuclear weapons, then the United States legally couldn't send them money.
So, they want uh their cake and eat it, too. We want to have nuclear weapons, but we still want to uh have our sugar daddy United States send us money. That's what's going on there.
Wonder if people will dump ashes on the White House like they did in the AIDS pandemic.
Yeah.
We've gone through some [ __ ] in this country. AIDS, COVID, now what Donald Trump is putting through.
You know, AIDS and COVID was a sickness, a virus, if you will.
The virus in this particular instance is Donald Trump. He is the virus.
And the Republican Party and the Trump le [ __ ] that are in his cult, they're all the virus.
So, we can get 20 or 30k people on the White House grounds, but we need a ballroom for security. Got it. Yeah, that's a good point.
They're pushing for the ballroom again.
They had that shooting outside the White House. See, we need a ballroom. What are you going to keep Donald Trump in the ballroom all day, every day? Is that what you're going to do?
Why don't you just build a sweat box and put it in the backyard of the White House? Stuff that orange fat [ __ ] in it and let him sit there all day.
Cover it in metal and um military metals and he'll be safe.
Benny Loco, 48 watching, 24 thumbs up, double tap the screen. Thank you.
Benny Loco is my hype gal.
Thank you, Benny.
Spaces says, "I saw the district Massie was from Melissa Strange is the Democrat. But what makes this better is that a libertarian is also running. So it's more likely the Democrat will win and split the R votes. You know, it'd really be interesting if Massie said, I'm going to run as an independent. Then he'd really split that [ __ ] up and a Democrat would win. I don't know that Massie would do that, but uh be kind of pointless for him other than to own Donald Trump.
But uh it gets pretty petty up there on Capitol Hill.
Vincent said, is the Secret Service a thing still with all security being not good lately?
Yeah, I I don't know much about the uh Secret Service at this point, but I think everything when it comes to security in this country is in bad shape. We have no national security. Uh we have people fighting over in Iran.
See, the thing about it is is you can have a great military. You can have a great Secret Service.
But if you have Ronald McDonald [ __ ] running it, it's not going to be any good.
So I know our military is fantastic and impressive and ominous.
But when you have Pete Hegseth behind the [ __ ] wheel, then we have problems.
Uh Bob says, some of the goofy [ __ ] you referred to are already in office.
Greg Abbott. Absolutely right. We have plenty of goofy [ __ ] in office.
Uh why do you think he didn't go to Don Jr.'s wedding?
It's a good question. I heard somebody on Tik Tik Tik Tok say something.
I have no reason to believe it's true, but it could be.
He said the reason that Donald Trump didn't go to the Bahamas cuz Bahamas has a restriction on people convicted of felonies. So, he couldn't legally walk on to Bahamas. And to be honest with you, I think Canada is the same thing. We'll see if Donald Trump ever sets foot in Canada. I don't know if that's true. Put it this way.
Don Jr. doesn't really like Donald Trump, and Donald Trump doesn't like Don Jr.
He was busy. He had to go play golf or something.
And something I should mention, did you know the woman that Don Jr. married has an interesting father?
This I know is true because I heard one of the prominent people on Tik Tok say this.
Donald Trump Jr.'s current wife, her father was Jeffrey Epstein's financier for his island.
He's the one that put together the money for Jeffrey Epstein to buy the island.
I got to tell you, Don Jr., if you're trying to keep yourself away from the Epstein files, don't marry yourself into the family, you dumb [ __ ] The ballroom will be funded by private donors. We need this congressional funding for the fine China as said by Lindsey Graham. Our tax money at work FD FDJT and the Republicans. Couldn't agree more.
Um spacer.
Benny Loco says he wasn't allowed in the Bahamas because he's a felon.
That's distinctly possible. That's distinctly possible.
>> [sighs] >> Obi Mom Kenobi says, "My God, the audacities of these dumbasses with the vanity projects. We're all hurting at the gas pump, grocery store, health care, etc." Yeah, it really doesn't send a good message, does it? A lot of people struggling, a lot of people don't have health care, can't afford gas, can't afford groceries. And Donald Trump's putting up arches, painting reflecting ponds, spending billions of dollars. And if that weren't enough, then he wants to get this slush fund for a billion seven.
That one's going to be a problem for Donald Trump. The Republicans are even pushing back on that. They know it's stupid. They know it's a bad look.
I think Congress is probably going to shut that down.
I mean, it's so flagrant, so blatant, it's so stupid.
If you want to convince people to vote for you, you don't do [ __ ] like this.
So, I don't think that one's going to happen.
He's also still out on bail.
Yeah, I guess technically he probably is on bail.
And that [ __ ] stew just keeps getting thicker and smellier.
Ah, Patricia says, "Paxton won here in Texas. I'm returning so I can help Talarico."
Are you surprised by Paxton winning? I'm not at all surprised.
We got people that will do anything Donald Trump says, will support him under any circumstances.
You have to understand when this is all said and done and Donald Trump is exposed for the piece of [ __ ] he is and everybody can see it, there still will be a faction of people, maybe 30% that will stand by Donald Trump even then.
That [ __ ] could keel over, choke on a Big Mac, [ __ ] himself to death, and give everybody the finger and they'd still love him.
>> [cough] >> Yeah, hopefully Congress shuts down his exemption from income tax auditing auditing.
Yeah, I agree.
Again, it's so blatant, it's so corrupt, it's so illegal.
Um I don't think he's getting that one either. That's just [ __ ] crazy.
I don't think they're going to allow him to do that.
All right. Trump bombing Iran back in February was probably the biggest mistake. I saw a video compilation of his regime saying it's over for the past 3 months. Iran ranks anywhere between 13 and 16 globally.
Uh Spacer says, "My Donnie trolled Ramaswamy at the next game next Cavs game. Republicans have bad luck at sporting events. The team they cheer loses." My Donnie posting reminding him he's supposed to be running for governor of Ohio.
He probably needs to be reminded. You know, Ramaswamy is such a joke. I don't even know why he's a factor. That tells you how weak Republicans are.
First of all, he's a weak candidate.
Second of all, he's a Republican and he happens to be brown and of of of immigrant parentage.
They don't like you, Ramaswamy.
They just voting against a libtard.
I hope to God Ramaswamy doesn't win in Ohio. That would be absolutely absurd.
Uh people don't understand that oil isn't just fuel and oil is used in other stuff and everything will be expensive.
One item I heard cut costs by getting rid of color of the chip bags.
Yeah, there's a lot of stuff that oil's in. I think oil is part of plastic. You need oil to make plastic.
It's It's going to affect everything.
There's no question about it.
Uh did you hear about what happened in South Carolina with the gerrymandering failing? Yeah.
I don't know how it did in the election.
I assume it failed, but even before that happened, the state Senate shut it down.
People are getting tired of Trump.
People are getting tired of the [ __ ] And South Carolina denied the uh gerrymandering. And I'm sure Donnie's going to be happy about that. And he'll probably hold back FEMA and whatever from South Carolina. But at least somebody stood up to him for [ __ ] once.
Um Vicky says he is a joke just like Trump.
Well, that could be anybody. We talked about Vicky, J.D. Vance, Lindsey Graham.
They're all [ __ ] jokes. They're all dopes.
Uh and um we need to clear out as many of them as possible.
I'm even hearing that uh Lindsey might be in trouble in South Carolina. I don't know how true that is.
Um but it would be funny to see him lose. He'd be crying and screaming like a stuck pig.
Um Trevor Lee says BB is in the hospital.
That's what I've heard. I heard he went in for some dental stuff.
Like Donald Trump. I don't know if he's still in the hospital or he got out. But uh if BB's sick, good. I like the [ __ ] Um probably canceled uh Camp David because he would have been stuck talking to his own [ __ ] in cabinet.
You're probably right about that. You got a big room full of dumbasses and that's all you got to talk to.
That could be problematic.
Benny Loco says bioplastic cane can be made with hemp.
As can fuel and thousands of other everyday products.
Uh Trevor says, "I don't care what's happening to him." Now, I agree with you.
Uh Trump's third checkup since becoming president, something must be really wrong.
All you have to do is look at that [ __ ] you know there's some things wrong. There's stuff emotionally, mentally, cognitively.
He shits his pants every day.
He falls asleep while he's at meetings.
Uh he slurs constantly.
Yeah, I think it's a fair bet there's something seriously wrong with him.
And who knows? Who knows what they told him today when they went to see the doctor. He doesn't go in three times in a year without some issues being found.
Um Spaceman says minority descendant Republicans like Ramaswamy or Clarence Thomas are in denial of being minorities.
One that caught me off guard was seeing an Asian descent state rep in Tennessee defending slavery.
It always amazes me when people of color support Donald Trump and the Republicans.
What do they hope to gain?
It's makes no sense.
Uh Vincent says China bans Nvidia game chips. Nvidia CEO wasted time going to China with Trump. Yeah, apparently they did.
That's going to be costing them a lot of money.
Uh Trump is physically decaying in front of our eyes, no question about it.
And then Adam says, "But what about sleepy Joe?" Yeah, what about sleepy Joe? He's fighting cancer currently. We haven't seen him on the screen at all.
But he's 82 years old. He's got cancer.
I'm sure he's not in the best shape.
Uh Benny Loco says, "Dicky can't outrun Mr. Grim." Yeah, you're right.
You can gaslight everybody but not the Grim Reaper. They don't [ __ ] care.
Is there any updates on the chemical disaster in California? Trump refuses to send aid. Surprise, surprise. Wait until something goes wrong and then Trump blames Newsom and the Democrats. Yeah.
Yeah, you know, I I actually haven't been following that crisis.
I thought I read something today that there was an explosion and somebody died. I don't know if that was previous or that just happened. So, if there's anybody out there that knows what's going on, please relay it.
Are EPA disasters not being reported in the US? I would be wouldn't be surprised if they aren't being reported.
Uh Adam Grant says, "I heard Joe beat cancer. He rang the bell."
That's a distinct possibility.
I hope that's the case. I hope he beat cancer. He rang the bell.
And he goes on to live long past Donald Trump.
Benny Loco says, "One dead, nine missing thus far in that situation in California."
Yeah, if they're expecting any kind of help from Donald Trump, that uh not going to come.
He's They're not going to get any help from Donald Trump. Donald Trump isn't going to give anybody help unless he receives something in return.
Donald Trump is very track transactional as we know.
And unless you give him something or it's beneficial to him some way, he ain't giving out [ __ ] Utah here, we're starting the summer with no water in our reservoirs. Empty the Colorado is just a trickle.
Yeah, um with these new data centers and all the stuff going, water is going to become a big issue, a huge issue.
And it's going to be interesting to see how Trump and the Trump administration react.
People can't live without water. It's not like it's an option.
So, my thoughts are with those people who lack water. I live in Minnesota, we got 10,000 lakes, we're good.
But Nevada, I have a sister there, other states, um Georgia, Arizona, they have a bigger problem with water.
All right, uh wasn't that explosion in Washington? It could be.
It could be. I just heard something in passing and I figured they were talking about California. That could have been something in Washington.
Republicans are in trouble in Alaska, Mary Peltola, a sharp, smart woman going against Anne Sullivan. She won statewide before being previously the single Congress seat for Alaska. She'll win this. Well, that's good to know. We really need to flip the house in a big way and we need to win the Senate by at least three votes cuz you can't trust [ __ ] Fetterman.
The California overheating tank was downgraded but still a problem. Thank you for that update.
Um Fanny Loco says he doesn't give a [ __ ] about anything but himself, uh money and eternal supply of children.
Yeah.
AOC showed a glass of brown water from the data centers and confronted the Republicans. I saw that.
This is starting to remind me remember of those days when people were um complaining about the water when people were doing fracking.
That was horrific. I remember watching a documentary where the guy turned on the faucet, lit the water and it burned.
And these people are doing some horrific things to our resources and people are going to die because of it.
Uh Adam Grant says, "Let's build data centers and figure the water out after."
Fetterman's team is quitting on him. I would too.
I'd quit on that [ __ ] so fast.
He is mentally incompetent. He didn't just change his mind. He's not a plan from the Republican Party. He's not smart enough for that.
He had a stroke. He had some other issues and it changed his personality.
We've heard that before with heart attacks and that sort of thing. People's personalities change once they go through something like that.
There's something very off with Fetterman and it's troubling.
Um I live here in Washington state and haven't heard anything. Thank you, Terry. Benny Loco feels like we're running into a brick wall every damn day.
It certainly does. It does feel like that.
Pennsylvania is an example of shady politics. Democrats, Chris [snorts] Rabb or Rabb, a progressive won the nomination to represent the Philadelphia district in Congress. Shapiro tried everything to tip the scales.
Yeah, I know a lot of people felt strong about Shapiro. I never really did. He seems a little too slick for my taste.
Things are coming out now that shows he's kind of shady.
I think Shapiro's expiration date on running for president is well past now.
Um to Benny Loco says, "I just saw it in the last hour."
Breaking news. I hate people that use that term breaking news. It's all breaking news.
Uh and then Terry Simmons says, "I will Google it."
About [ __ ] time they do.
All right, we're about at that point where I'm going to wrap things up. I usually like to go an hour. I'm old.
I can't handle long periods of time talking anymore.
I mean, I can go an hour, maybe an hour and a half, but uh it gets tough.
I'm too old for this [ __ ] Uh Mark Cuban coming out in favor of Trump RX surprises me.
That shouldn't surprise you. All Trump did is hook a pipe to Cuban's platform already, put his name on it, and uh, all the drugs won't be coming from Trump RX, it'll come from Cuban's Cuban's and go through Donald Trump's porthole, and he'll make his money off of that.
Uh, I think it was kind of stupid of Mark Cuban to do that. I'm hoping he's not running for president. You don't want to be shown to be in cahoots with Donald Trump.
The AI Dennis The AI data centers will become useless when people discover how bad the AI is and it fails, then we'll have to bail them out. Too big to fail.
You know, I'm I use AI for certain things, and it's it's interesting.
It's not perfect. It's wrong a lot.
I think people are getting too upset about AI.
Uh, I don't think it's going to have as much impact as we think it's going to.
I think people are jumping on board building these data centers because they can make money on it. I think we'll end up having a bunch of data centers that we don't need ultimately. Now, I could be wrong about this. That's just my gut feeling.
I stay away from creators using clickbait titles. Yeah.
Don't trust billionaires. Rest up my friend, Adam Grant. Make billionaires extinct.
Thank I want to thank you all for coming out and spending time with me.
I was hoping and praying we get a bunch of people in the YouTube live, and you didn't fail me. You were here, and it made this thing way more interesting for me and for everybody else as well.
So, thank you for coming out. I'll be doing a Tik Tok live tomorrow, and that should be interesting.
For those of you listening, uh, thank you for taking the time to do that.
I hope you have a great day and we will talk to you again tomorrow.
All right.
We're done with the YouTube live. We're still on the Rational Boomer podcast.
But I meant what I said. I'm a tired [ __ ] at this point. And you know what I did all day today?
I didn't do jack [ __ ] My wife's out of town. I did a bunch of TikToks. I did the meta podcast thing. I just really lounged around, went out for dinner by myself. I didn't do much, but I'm still [ __ ] tired.
This this age thing is starting to get to me.
Anyway, thank you for taking the time to listen. I hope you have a great day and we will talk to you again tomorrow.
