[00:00:20]>> What an honor. What a privilege it is to be here. And without further ado, I'm grateful. I'm honored. I'm pleased to introduce the 45th and 47th president of the United States of America, President Donald J. Trump.

[00:00:36]>> I think when you know the history of this president and you know the biases of this president, uh for a certain community, the black community for me, if this feels personal um and and and I think if you are someone who attacks the community to which I belong, um and you support that, that tells me two things.

[00:00:56]Either one you agree with his politics and you agree with his biases or you can be adjacent to it, stomach it, stomach it and that means you are complicit in my view.

[00:01:06]>> Yeah.

[00:01:07]>> What changed about this narrative of sports and politics not belonging together is when frankly black athletes started to show more agency and started to speak more about some of the conditions that people in their community were facing or even some of the experiences that they had. That's when it became oh no don't mix sports and politics. In this particular case, this was an un unforced error by Jackson Dart. Again, Donald Trump is historically unpopular. You are the quarterback of the New York Giants. What was the point? What is the upside in appearing at this rally? Now, he has a right to support whoever he wants, but Abdul Carter has a right to criticize his support of that. And a lot of athletes, partly what makes them hesitant about talking about their political beliefs is that they don't want the blowback and they don't want the resistance and how people might feel about it. So yeah, his teammate who is a Muslim, who's a black man in America, had every right to question him about what that support means, especially when you are considered to be the face of the organization and the sort of default leader of the entire team.

[00:02:07]>> This was a real error on the part of Abdul Carter, not on the part of Jackson Dart. Jackson Dart was asked to do something to introduce the president of the United States. How many people get an opportunity to do something like that? Regardless of who the president is, you may not like you may have hated Barack Obama. You may have hated Joe Biden, you know, and some guys didn't want to go to the White House cuz they didn't like those presidents, just like other guys didn't want to go to the White House cuz they didn't like President Trump, you know, but uh but to put this out like a child on on social media is is ridiculous. And then when I heard, yeah, we spoke manto man. Yeah, there was only one man on that call and that was Jackson Dart. You were a man who was late to meetings. You were a man who didn't live up to your draft choice.

[00:02:51]You're a man who wanted to wear number 56. And by the way, your idol, number 56, has introduced Donald Trump numerous times. So I I don't want to hear this.

[00:03:02]So he made another just boneheaded error by going to social media. So despite Dart not saying anything political, he's getting some blowback from other players, including his own teammate Abdul Carter, who posted on social media saying this, quote, "Thought this was AI. What we doing, man?" Carter later clarified, posting that he and Dart talked it out and are on good terms now.

[00:03:33]>> Um, seems like there's a double standards, guys. Yeah, >> you can be a liberal and introduce your president, but I guess you can't be uh a football player and introduce Trump.

[00:03:41]>> And and to be fair, and of course I'm defending Dart cuz I'm an Old Miss grad.

[00:03:46]He went to Old Miss and was a superstar just a few years ago. But but he didn't say anything political. I mean, had he maybe said something political that people would be attacking, then you're attacking substance. There's actually something you're he just did the introduction.

[00:04:00]>> The left doing what the left does. M >> uh although they they plead and ask for tolerance, but they are the most intolerant group of people in the country. It's not even close at this point. It's not even close. There's plenty of footage of Steph Kerry and, you know, so many other athletes out there uh introducing Joe Biden and and you know, Barack Obama, so forth and so on. But if you decide to introduce President Trump, because hey, maybe Jackson Dart is a Republican. There's a lot of young uh white men. There's a lot of young men this time around that decided to vote for the president and you have an opportunity to do so. You do it. If that's what you want to do, that is your right.

[00:04:45]And just because he plays football, he doesn't owe any of these people anything. They're co-workers. Yeah, we're on the same team, but we're co-workers. And what I do in my personal time is what I do in my personal time.

[00:04:55]You don't get a say in that, bro.

[00:04:58]>> You don't get a say. But that is the problem. That is the problem with the left. They want to do whatever it is that they want to do and then they want to police you on what you want to do.

[00:05:17]>> And uh I'm glad that, you know, one Jackson Dart didn't come out and apologize because I hadn't seen that yet. I'm glad it didn't. And if I was if I was his father, I would tell him, you don't ain't got nothing to apologize for. That's right.

[00:05:27]>> Nothing. Now, I will say this has been a net positive for Jackson Dart. Dude has the number one jersey sale in the league right now. He's crushing it. I think since this incident, he's sold over 200,000 jerseys.

[00:05:41]>> Um, >> I'm bootle positive. And the other thing, too, is, you know, I and I don't even like the Giants, but I thought about getting a jersey. Maybe I'll gift it to somebody. Maybe I'll gift it to Crystal. I wouldn't dare wear a Giant jersey.

[00:05:55]I wouldn't put one on the policing of thoughts by, you know, members of the press. You know, if hey, if you're on the opposite side of Sunonny Host, you're probably doing a good thing.

[00:06:06]You're you're doing the right thing. If you're on the opposite side of Jamal Hill, you know, the lady who is super pro black but does her does her darnest to look as white ladyish as possible.

[00:06:18]And and no shade to the white ladies. I have I have no hate, but my thing is don't be out here with the fist in the air, pro black, and every time we see you, you got a blonde wig on.

The thing is they sat here and they want to attack this young man. He like we like all of a sudden everyone here thinks they own every person. You do not own us. You are not in charge of us. We are able to have free. We we're free thinking and we're I I think uh Whoopi said on the show, you know, that's a liberal mindset to be to be free to think however you want. That is not a liberal mindset. That was a gift from God called free will. Stop calling liberal mindset. It's not a liberal mindset. And if we're going to talk about a liberal mindset, look at how all of y'all behaving because all of y'all have that cookie cutter. Everyone has to think the exact way, move the same way, and if you step out of line, then the Solinsky rules for radicals um rule number 13 comes into play.

[00:08:06]>> And we all know how that works. So, at the end of the day, I am proud of Jackson Dart for standing up and like said, he did not apologize. He doesn't need to apologize. No one has to apologize for doing what they want to do in their free will. That is what God gave us, free will. all of them over there. And and you touched on Jamal Hill who the same person who walks around telling people about you need to go support H.B.CU. You need to do that. She went to PWI. Girl, sit down.

[00:08:47]They talk about Trump's past. I want to remind y'all, each and every one of you have a past. Each and every one of you have skeletons. And guess what? On the Lord's internet, we can dig it up and we can find it all the time.

[00:09:06]The first thing I'll say in regards to the uh to the black woman with the fake hair color, she had said something that um I know that they love hearing it. She said that Trump is a historically unpopular president. Y'all heard her say that. That is so unbelievably and easily to just go look up an untrue statement.

[00:09:23]All right, Trump actually, and Crystal knows I'm what I'm going to say. I used to love saying this all the time before the election. It infuriated people.

[00:09:30]Didn't love it for that reason, but I love the truth. He is actually the opposite of that. He is historically the most popular president amongst their own political party since we have ever started recording that. He tied actually. Eisenhower is the one that was up there as well. So to say that just cuz you don't like him is not true. But um here's the deal. What was the girl's name though? the light-skinned lady on the view that was talking for us, what's her name?

[00:09:52]>> Cloudy. Right. This young lady, she came up here and to Crystal's point, bless your heart, Crystal, she said that these are her words, not mine. If you agree to his policies or if you are at least up there with him, you are complicit is what she said. And you know what? She gets away with it because she doesn't have anyone to disagree with her that's up there. And so, this is my formal petition. Once again, if anybody of the producers on the view are accidentally a Christian, you're like, I'm tired of this. I need you to take Celeste Duffy, offer, author of the Ask Backwards Way to Moving Forward. I need you to go ahead and put her on that panel so that when she says something like that again, Celeste can say, "We're going to apply that across the board." So, when Biden came out there, someone you supported, someone that you enjoy and said, "You're not black if you don't vote for me."

[00:10:43]That means that you at a bare minimum are complicit. Your words, not mine, or you agree with that information. When you go up there and say something like that, then I will remind you that the crime bill in 1994, since we're going back, let's go back. Biden was huge on pushing this tough on crime measure, a lot of your brothers and sisters, since that's what you think black people are, are in jail right now because you supported somebody like that. I want Celeste on the show. I'm willing to sign a petition or whatever it is. We need to get her up there because I'm so sick and tired of raw lies and ignorance going unchallenged.

Those deaths.

If I was his daddy, not only am I going to say you don't owe anybody an explanation about nothing, however, and don't you dare apologize cuz if you do, do not come back home for Thanksgiving cuz we don't eat with punks.

They might have to bring me back. Look at God. You don't know what God might do. Just send me and we'll see. They looked like they were gonna come for Elizabeth though.
