This video presents a controversial perspective on Nigeria's internal conflicts, arguing that individuals advocating for self-determination (like IPOB) are labeled as terrorists while those who criticize government policies and advocate for fair treatment of marginalized groups (like Sheikh Gumi) are allowed to live freely. The video claims that government neglect and economic hardship drive people toward banditry and terrorism, and that US officials were shocked by the different approaches taken by various groups in Nigeria.

US Officials Shocked: My Boys Choose Kidnapping for Ransom Over IPOB’s Tactics, GumiAjouté :
[music] [music] >> This is the main reason why we are advocating for total disintegration of Nigeria. Listen. Did you know that after the on-a-lifing the ISIS second-in-command in northern part of Nigeria, this man, this terrorist that is inside the Nigerian government to rise in the Nigerians, come out and start vomiting rubbish and cautioning the America and the Nigeria military that they should treat the bandit ISIS and the Boko Haram with fear, that they're only after ransom, that they're not living a luxury life, that those people are suffering.
Imagine, that they're not unlike the IPOB who are trying to divide this country. So, when somebody is advocating for self-determination, the person automatically become a terrorist. That is what this useless man called Gumi, the man who the important terrorist to Nigeria to start on-a-lifing and kidnapping Nigerians for ransom, have come out and make it clearly that indeed he is the terrorist in the Nigerian government. And yet, Nigerian government have never go after him, talk more of arresting him. That is the main reason why we are thinking that Nigeria can never be one. But all thanks to America, because America is pressing the neck of Nigeria the more.
Watch the video. The United States and Nigerian forces recently carried out a joint operation killing a senior Islamic State commander in Nigeria. The president has alleged that Nigerian Christians are being targeted. Why does this joint military operation happen?
What does it all mean for the future of US involvement there?
Well, we've been involved now for close to a year and this has been on and off though since prior to 2015 as you remember the emergence of Boko Haram during that time period.
President Trump designated Nigeria country of particular concern myself and others refocusing the administration's attention to that which happened October 31st of last year and in that announcement President Trump tasked me personally to go investigate this issue Christian persecution, Christian genocide in Nigeria which is what I did.
I traveled to Nigeria with my colleagues from the Appropriations Committee and put together this report that we presented to the White House with a number of key recommendations on how we can try to protect those populations that are suffering at the hands of Islamic radical terrorists. So, this is something that the President is acutely focused on as he should be and so am I and I think many around the country are.
I just a couple hours ago walked out of church to be on television here with you and I heard from many people, thank you for focusing on this issue. So, I think it's something that's near and dear to a lot of people's hearts. In the air, MQ-9 Reapers operating from Bauchi airfield have been orbiting at al-Muhajir's compound for weeks, possibly months at altitudes over 40,000 ft, invisible, silent, logging his pattern of life 27 hours at a time with those Reapers staying airborne for 27 hours plus sometimes. When the order came down, the Reaper transitioned from intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance ISR to strike. The MQ-9 likely wasn't the only one airborne and if we see the pattern of what happens in these counterterrorism campaigns, the pattern here suggests potentially an AC-130 gunship may have been airborne providing close air support to the ground special operations elements. That's the AC-130J and it has the ability to loiter over a compound at night and maintain precision suppressive fire. It's tailor-made for this exact operation and likely F-15E Strike Eagle formations on station as well, potentially even being the on-scene commander. So, when it comes to a stack like this, going up against a massive terrorist element and sending in special forces, you have to know where all the different ambush points could be. And the F-15E Strike Eagle with its sniper targeting pod is uniquely suited for this role. You can be up overhead watching the different areas, protecting the different ingress and egress points.
Ingress is how the special operators are going to go in. Egress is how they're going to go out. Likely overhead this F-15E Strike Eagle with a weapons systems officer in the back coordinating the exact path that that special operations team would take. The F-15E can fly high, fast, and can carry that GBU-54.
The thing about the GBU-54 is it is a laser-guided Joint Direct Attack Munition. So, when a JDAM isn't enough, bring in a laser-guided JDAM. This is better than dolphins with freaking laser beams at this point. Also, those Hellfire missiles would be used to provide both precision strikes and backups if the GBU-54 was too much weaponry at the time. Both of those options having them airborne along with the AC-130J makes this entire targeting chain from above have zero chances of escape. And then on the ground, likely US Army Green Berets from Third or Fifth Special Forces Group or the SFG. Sorry, I know you didn't have an acronym for a while and you needed one. You're like, "Oh, where was my acronym?" Don't worry, I've got another one right now. And that is they are elements of Joint Special Operations Command or JSOC embedded with the Nigerian Joint Task Force Northeast.
And they likely led the assault. The Green Berets are great at being guides, being there to back up these partner nations. They likely blocked the escape routes, breached the compound perimeter, and conducted the site exploitation, which is called SSE, sensitive site exploitation. And sometimes that's more important than the actual operation itself, because you get hard drives, you get max and plans to see where the next terror attack could be, to see where other of these sneaky elements could be hiding out. Knowing the locations of some of their lieutenants is probably some of the best information that they got from this campaign. And they captured that intelligence that was on Al-Manuki's networks, financing future operations, making sure you get all of that scooped up and hoovered up before you leave the compound. And here's the result. Nigerian President Bola Tinubu confirmed the result on X. He said Al-Manuki, also known as Abu Manuk. How many things is this guy also known as? I mean, at this point his aliases are getting a little bit ridiculous. He's like, "I'm also known as General Salami in Iran." Nope, we already got that one taken. We see what you tried to do there, Al-Manuk, and it's not going to work. Several of his senior lieutenants were also eliminated in this raid and strike on the compound in the Lake Chad Basin. And as we saw from President Trump's Truth Social post, someone inside Al-Manuki's network was feeding information to the intelligence fusion cell. That is how you get to the inner circle in the same compound at the same time. Having that key information, knowing what you might go up against during daring raids just like this. This is a massive takedown of a terrorist who's been operating with impunity for years.
>> Attorney, you asked a battery of questions. How do you expect me to convince you? Let me state one by one.
IPOB IPOB is attacking the police, is attacking the army, is attacking INEC, government institutions, killing our men in service.
And the herdsmen are kidnapping children not to kill them to get money. So, how can you compare somebody who's killing our gallant in the armed forces directly attacking them to somebody who's kidnapping children to make money not to kill them.
Look, we have we need some fairness in what we are doing.
We are under pressure to fight government. Government that has helicopters, has bombarded us. So, you remove the pressure, the need for the money is there. When you go there, you don't see any luxurious life.
You don't see any luxurious life at all.
They are living in huts. They have nothing. They drink from sometime from the stream.
So, I don't think we can say that they are used to a luxurious life that they won't live it. Actually, we don't even know it with all the money they get.
Sheik, like you said, they are under pressure. Government is bombarding them and according to what you say they are saying that it looks like they are under attack. So, maybe they are acquiring weapons to protect themselves. But But then again, if the pressure is that much, why don't they renounce banditry?
And are they also considering the lives of those that they are also taking and the lives of people that they are also making you know unlivable?
Okay, you see um If they leave banditry, they won't have source of financing their war machine.
The question you asked, why why are they fighting them?
You see, the herdsmen has gone through a lot of hardship. No government has really actually sat down to see into their flight, to modernize them, to even spend anything. Not one cobo of our Nigerian budget goes to them. And now they feel they George Washington declared in 1789 >> [music] >> that it is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of almighty God, to obey his will, to be grateful for his benefits, and humbly to implore his protection and favor.
These were the opening lines of America's first-ever Thanksgiving proclamation.
But whatever milestone it represented in the brief life of our young republic, the duty Washington described to honor, obey, and give thanks to our creator was woven into America's character long before the founding.
[music] A keen awareness of that duty has stretched all the way back from William Bradford's own pilgrim proclamation in 1623 [music] to the opening prayer of our first Continental Congress, to Lincoln's call for national Thanksgiving in the midst of the Civil War, to this very gathering today.
We have always been and [music] still are a nation of prayer, and thank God for that.
In times of suffering and in times of [music] triumph, millions of Americans continue to turn to prayer and their faith in God.
John Adams famously said that our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.
It was obvious to the founders that our faith was the ground upon which America stands. It was our very foundation >> [music] >> as a people.
And if this foundation were to crumble, so too would the very values that make us Americans.
From our religious inheritance comes many of the virtues and institutions we most cherish as a people.
Our system of justice, our generosity to neighbors, our respect for conscience, and the moral discipline necessary for liberty itself.
As my dear friend, the late great Charlie Kirk, put it, all law reflects a morality.
Neither law nor morality appears in a vacuum, but ultimately come from religion.
And the morality and religion [music] that formed the American consciousness were decidedly Christian, founded upon the principles [music] and the divinity of Jesus Christ.
In 1783, Washington also proclaimed [music] that imitation of divine charity is necessary for the mutual affection of our citizenry [music] and the happiness of our nation.
If we do not see that God loves us, we have little reason and little inspiration to love one [music] another.
This love which forms our morality is the foundation of a peaceful and healthful society. That's why it's so encouraging to see a renewed sense of faith emerging among America's young people. [music] Defying predictions, the experts said that religion and faith were dying.
Today, a wave of young Americans is returning [music] to the pews.
And we know that they're looking for meaning, for authority, for direction, and of [music] course, for closeness with God.
That should give all of us hope for our future together as Americans. It certainly [music] gives me hope as your vice president.
Because prayer is not merely something we do in [music] times of crisis.
It is a continual disposition of love toward God and through that love toward one another, through our fellow citizens.
As we celebrate 250 years, [music] I thank you all for joining on such a happy and [music] wonderful occasion.
And just as I pray for all of you, I ask for your prayers for me, for the president, and for the entire cabinet. I always ask people to pray [music] for wisdom and for courage for their leadership. Pray for wisdom that we know the path God wants us to walk. Pray for courage that we have the ability [music] to walk that path.
You'll be in my prayers as I hope I'll be in yours. May God bless you all.
What I would not say, you have heard it know, and clear, and he confirmed it. Is there any other evidence that he needed to know that this man is a great terrorist? That this man is the man who are importing terrorists from other country, from foreign countries to Nigeria to start, you know, intimidating Nigeria and kidnapping Nigerians and demanding for ransom. You have heard it in his mouth, loud and clear. Then the question come be say, what is the crime of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu that warrant the Nigeria government to sentence him for death? Oh, okay. Just because Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was asking for self-determination. That is a treasonable offense. You see? This is the kind of country that the Britain joined us together with this this lunatic, this nomadic, and this useless human beings called Fulani people.
These people are the people that are have made life so miserable for Nigerians. And yet, this man is walking freely.
And the Nigeria government is not going after him.
But if it was to be a somebody who voluntarily come out and start condemning how Nigeria government is feeding the militants, the person would be apprehended overnight. The person would be kidnapped overnight. But this man is well known everywhere. Eating and dining and wining with the Nigeria government. And yet, Nigeria government have never go after him. Imagine him come out to start to warning Nigeria that they should treat his kinsmen with the fair that they are not living in the Looney Land. That they are only after ransom.
Ransom, you said? So, if the people that refuse to pay the ransom, are they not be killed? So, all these mass grave that have been all these mass burial that have been happening in the part of that have been happening in in Benue, Plateau, Borno, and Kwara, and other part of the Nigeria.
So, it is because they are refusing to pay the ransom. That is why those bad better are happening.
This Nigeria is always a joke. That is the main This is the main reason why we are asking for total division of this country called Nigeria because we are not one and we can never be one with this kind of people with this kind of illiterate and calibers of people that think like animals because this man I classify this man as animal because he reason with his anus not with his brain.
This man are the real terrorists that are we are seeing. This man are the man who have been putting terrorists to Nigeria and yet Nigeria are allowed him to live freely and enjoy his life.
Is there any evidence that you needed to know before you know that this man are the real terrorists?
Let's tell ourselves the truth. Nigeria is not one and it can never be one.
Until when we know that truth, we can never be free.
It's either Biafra or nothing.
