They are half the weight of one of the bigger bots. That's how they get to fight together.

SO, it's a good pin but the Berg there drum kind of pulled the Bangers to smash up and over them. So, they got to be wary of the weapon.

Who's going to come off better? So Tonk so far just pirouetting a PITA up into the air. Bits of PTA shredded from the chassis and Tong sizing up their opponent there before charging in.
We've got a crowd favorite emerging in this bike battle.
And was that a skip? That was almost a Lightning McQueen using the side of the arena to skirt over Tonk. The big hit from Tonk onto PITA, closing into the corner. It looks like PTA has stopped moving. No, there's still a little bit of life left, but they're hugging the wall for safety.
The the countdown has begun.
It is moving.
So, playing a play like a possome. And they're just letting the timer go down and they've got a new lease of life.
It's disemb. But it is momentary inviting more damage by moving.
So something Tong's got to be cautious of here is that their weapon does not throw them off into the pit. We've seen it happen MANY TIMES. ALMOST THROWING PITA off into the pit.

SO SKIPPING over and then avoiding Tom and the uh I don't know if the power is starting to decease but these hits are not as impactful as they once were earlier in the fight. Tonk is running VERY QUIETLY. PTA ON THE EDGE HERE. TONK JUST NEEDS TO NUDGE IT.

I think Twig just wants to remove as much kinetic energy as possible before going in with their blade.
self writing pretty well and a couple of sparks starting to fly, but this is a tentative match enabled.

I know that Twig's drive is not at 100%.
And there's a belt on the arena floor.
Can't tell where that's come from. I think Twig is now at two wheel drive. It started it three-wheel drive.
Well, maybe balancing out is going to make it better as that was a great ram up against traffic, but traffic is just dodging the hits from Twig.
And this is quite gentle. I mean, the ramps of Twig are doing a great job defending the robot from the actual weapon of traffic.
Oh, there is some damage.
This is all looking very gentle, but trust me, these weapons can spin up to 250 m an hour. The damage they're dealing is not really reflecting. I'm sure the roboters won't mind me calling this one for the purists.
And Twig now looking a little bit immobilized. Maybe they're starting to feel the damage of losing that bell. 10 seconds left.

They are saving that compressed air. It should be able to recharge itself.

They They're very rear weight heavy. So every time they accelerate, the front of their robots lifting up, which means they cannot get underneath. Pit enabled.

That tail on out helps position the height of the blades.

Well, you got to say this is actually very kind-spirited about because they could go in dealing tons and tons of damage, but they're aware of the nature of this event. These are new moving again. Dark Eclipseer is moving. Well, and if they're not tapping out, I spoke too soon. They just tapped.

Activate >> and Static immediately showing the rear end. That's a strange strategy. Static's drive is looking a little bit shaky here, but they have enough to pirouette on the spot and that might be all they need.
Wedgie does not have the ground game when they go straight on, but Wedgie is far more maneuverable and probably able to get around the sides and use that lifting arm. Yeah. So, those yellow forks of static, they are designed to hug the arena floor and get underneath the competitor.
>> And Wedgie immediately going for the pit button, but they're on the wrong side.
Thankfully, not losing the traction battle.
And now finding themselves in the correct position for Static. They're winning on winning out on traction.
You're only allowed to pin your competitor for 10 seconds up against the wall.

And that's a good strategy. If Wedgie can get Static stuck on the roof, they can carry him over. But Static doing what they need to, showing the forks to Wedgie.

And so Doom missing that first initial contact. They actually veered off coming down with the axe maybe to keep some distance away from the spinning blades.
And those spinning blades are huge, heavy, and fast.
And so this is exactly what Doom needs.
Fouch cannot selfright. All they can do is now walk around with those blades.
And Doom device is taking slices out of Ouch with that hammer sword.
Cover your ears if you need to. Ouch is grinding the arena floor.

Fighting for position both of these robots here.
They're just jostling and demic charging a bit too hard there.

So it looks like the saw of Sakura is just a little too flimsy and they haven't lifted it up much. It is grinding away on the floor which is what the sparks are.

Desktop launcher seems to have lost a side of drive. Moonshot trying to get a flip but not quite.
Desktop Launcher is really having some problems with one of those sides of the shuffle drive.
As a result, Moonshot did win the pushing battle once they got underneath, but the acceleration is making it hard for their forks to stay on the floor.

Doesn't look like that spinner is running. It was having some problems earlier today. So, is Subside here going to get bullied into the corner by the two little Buttercups? Well, so far that is the game plan, but not so much on the same game plan right now. That was a good grab though. A bit of a pin.
The barups having to be synchronized here. Almost juggling between them.
Subside unable to really >> stay on the arena floor. But now the pit is descending.

But they do have to work as a team and I'm not sure that's their strong suit as they start fighting each other. I think it's quite difficult when all these robots are so fast and subside almost shows going into the pit. Is it quite surprising how a little movement on the joystick propels the robot across the arena, especially with motors as highowered as the ones in these bots.
And unfortunately for Subside, they don't really have a a platform, a face that they can easily push against. But they're trying. They're trying.
Buttercup pushing Subside up against the wall. difficult to deal with both of those little annoying Buttercups at once. And I think Subside there trying to do a duck and weave as one of the Buttercups goes in and Subside follows.
Buttercup take activate Bangers and Smash trying to go for the box rush. TRAFFIC SPINS UP SO QUICKLY, but traffic did actually manage to get up and over onto those forks. So potentially they can get close enough to do some damage as Bangers and Smash gets piouetted away. They are giving it some good knocks so far. Reese is going to want to get the tooth of that disc engaged into the side of Bangers and Smash >> and into the back of it. An attempt with the hammer, but it didn't make contact.
And they're just sizing each other up right now as traffic kind of getting some grazing blows. And now damage is being done.
>> There goes a bunch of the weapon system.
It is still waving though and the actual motor is still spinning literally like a blade up against the uh that was a large heavy impact. Fang smash looks to be immobilized. The ref has started the count. Really trying to move >> and we got some more Beyblades in the arena. We love to see it. So >> activate >> sentry spinning up straight away and already bend off static. Already you can hear their weapon bouncing on the floor but that ramp of static is doing what it needs to deflecting the blow so far. Nothing too bad.
Static is made of is made of some bouncy bouncy material.
So he's not going to take too much damage from that. And that's cheered by the rover chair. Static is driving into the pit button, but before it was enabled, so the pit is not lowering just yet.
And static might be stuck.
You can only pin for 10 seconds against the wall.
And Sentry is in danger of knocking itself into the zone.
The flip is not doing what it wanted to do. So, Static's weapon is not active, but they are winning the pushing battle and Sentry just cannot get the angle they need to do some damage.
The hum on that Sentry drum is deafening, but it is just not getting what it needs on Static.
So, Static is getting Come on. We want to see the thing hitting stuff. Come on, Century. Get some control.
Oh, they're actually winding down the weapon. This is uncharacteristic. They are now able to drive.
They have to choose between the weapon or drivability. And Static is now getting ever closer to putting them into the pit. 13 seconds left on the clock.

>> Robert Berg over by the audience. And the Berg is another spinning drum. And that drum is up to speed fighting into the sides of Wedgie.
going to want to stay away from that out of the arena area. Land in there and you're out. But what we are seeing from Berg is that the spinning giration effect is really hampering them as either side of their wheels are lifting up and that's ruining their ability to drive. Although that was a great charge.
Pieces of Wedgie are being grounded off the floor is being coated with a thin layer of black plastic. the wedgie there with a pin in the corner driving away.
Not holding it for as long as they could.
They're really going for the charges with the B. It is a very rapid robot.
Once it gets both wheels down on the floor, they're actually very nifty for either of these robots. It's going to take one big hit. That is going to help the Berg immensely. The front of Wedgie has been sealed up and the button for the pit has been pressed. I'm not sure if the B actually meant to do that. They're going to have to be careful now.
That force from the drum is carrying them around the arena.
And Wedgie now lifting them almost to the zone.

These robots are incredibly hard to maneuver. The Bergen underneath that going to cause some damage to the base plate of Wedgie and our pit button.
Not long left. 10 9 8 So we're into the final 10 seconds if more damage is done against Wley. 3 1 2 It goes to the robots wins by KO. In fact, even by the judges, they will make the bracket.

The stakes are up. So for those familiar with the robots, they are expecting carnage. In goes Cherry Bomb. And immediately again underneath is Tong.
Tonk is going to want to keep that weapon facing towards Cherry Bomb to STOP CHERRY BOMB DOING THIS.
>> SO, we're starting to expect smoke. Not quite any smoke. No, a little bit. Just a little bit of smoke.
>> That heating element maybe not up to temperature, but actually it looks like it's missing all of the internals of Tonk. Going to have to release, but they can fight for position again.
So, one arm on Cherry Bob and you can hear the metal on metal contact having some drive issues around the pit.
Maybe now forced into the corner again by Cherry Bomb. And Cherry Bomb is going to be wanting to bring down that HEAT WEAPON.
OH, DIDN'T touch the bottom. So, the fight continues. So, Taunt in there and then managing to avoid the heating element of Cherry Bomb, but Cherry Bomb is staying on them. And now they're getting a good pin. Here comes the heat.
>> Can you see it getting red hot as well?
>> We might see a fire star as it is getting RED HOT.
>> YES, >> HOUSTON. WE have ignition.
So good.
And the spinning weapon at Tom did not power down at all. So, they're hoping to maneuver away.
I think that might be an immobilization.
Tonk is having some real issues with drive right now. They are >> MELTING THROUGH THE SIDES.

>> CHERRY bomb showing no mercy whatsoever.
>> Well, we forecasted a heat wave.

None of these robots will be able to make the bracket. So this is for glory.
This is bragging rise. This is the final fight of the round of three. This is just to see if they can get a little bit higher in the tournament standings.
and desktop launcher pitting up against the corner. Hopefully, they're going to make their way over to the pit button after 30 seconds have gone and maybe we'll see a tussle for who goes into the pit as this is going to be a battle of control.
Although I should say the spinning weapon of Dark Eclipser is actually doing something.
The robot kind of questioned is it? I mean it's fan And so the pit button has finally been pushed. So we now have something to cheer for as we are hoping to see one of these robots fall into the pit. It looks like desktop is going to be the driving force. Saying that they've now completely stopped. I spoke way too soon.
They managed 30 seconds of driving. We earlier in the day we saw them completely self-destruct. They're now back alive. Do they have enough life to get Dark Eclipseer into the pit? They've somehow piroueted themselves onto the wrong side of the pit.
Okay, we're back into the crow position.
Come on. Dark Eclip cannot run away.
There's barely anything they can do.
And desktop has a fleeting show of life.
Surely they have the pushing power.
Oh, out of our misery. The roboteers.
One activate the doom device straight across the box TRYING TO CHASE TONK DOWN. Tonk is up to speed though. It's going to be looking to take chunks out of the Doom device. The Doom device has lifting forks. It has a hammer saw.
It's going to want to control this fight. And so far, Tong's been hitting the Doom device head on, but the wheels are really where they're going to get the most shrapnel and do the most damage trying to mobilize the Doom device.
>> Just like that. And there go two of the wheels on one side.
There's three. Can we make it four?
I love that they haven't tapped out. The Doom device is still trying to stay in this.
>> Moving the hammer to try and move themselves out, but I'm pretty sure the referee has started the 10-second count.
And Tonk, I think, successfully shredding the wheels off of their competitor. TOM'S TAKING A PLACE IN THE SEMIFINALS.
3 2 1 activate. And it's the box rush from Hyperion. But straight onto the FORKS OF CHERRY BOMB. And Cherry Bomb is heating up, >> but I'm not sure if that's a metal plate on Hyperion. That might be some of the metal parts of Hyperion. Sun struggling to melt through. So we can see the tip getting red hot but yeah it is not penetrating the armor of release >> and they're struggling. Hyperion stuck on the forks of Cherry Bomb. This could be a short match if this happens again.
I had a chat with the builder of Cherry Bomb earlier saying these forks were dangerous.

>> Well, so that is the only unstick of the fight. So if they get stuck again, it will go to a judges decision. Otherwise, it gets boring fighting.
>> Yeah, the robots are getting constantly stuck. But I don't think we're in any risk of that happening here. Well, I say that. Fingers crossed. So, a new game strategy for Hyperion. They managed to get underneath Cherry Bomb, and that is the safest place to be.
Can they hit the button and carry him to the pit?
>> How are they going to get cherry bombing without themselves? That's going to be the challenge here.

Less than a minute left on the fight though, so whoever wants to win this fight is going to have to make a mark and swiftly.
And once again, we get a cut in paste.
And have they learned from last time?
Can they do something different?
>> Trying to spin them off. This is a good strategy, but it's not working. Is this going to be another unstick?
Oh, yeah. I don't hear a count from the ref, so they've JUST LOST INTEREST.
YEAH, valid that over to the pit and immediately getting out of the blobs there. The quicker of the two is so fast, but Kraen's spin up is just as quick and that IS A DANGEROUS PLACE FOR BERMIC to be near the zone. But the glorious is grappling and up into the arena roof.
Finally a hit from Carmonic Bik is still going. It is still functional. IT STILL HAS THREE OF ITS FOUR WHEELS.
It is still driving, but there is still moving. There is no mercy. AND A TAP OUT from Veric.
CABRAEN WILL BE IN THE FINAL.
2 1 activate.
Tom straight up to speed.
That front wedge of Hyperion is designed to take horizontal hits, but the back is not, which is where it was right there.
But we are seeing Hyperion able to get underneath Tonk. So maybe they can do what he did to Cherry Ball. Possibly in that spinner catches an edge on the wedge.

So, the best way to immobilize the weapon of Tonk is to throw it against the arena wall.
He hits of course these spinners 250 mph >> and the pit button has been pushed.
We've seen Hyperion do this before in a shoving match between the two. I think Hyperion won out.
Hyperion is going to be looking to do the same thing again. Guiding Tonk towards the pit.
like watching water down a plug. Judging from a distance, this is for third place. Everybody >> activates speed across THE BOX FROM BIRD EM. But Tom with the spinning blade and that is great control.
>> That's a great pinch there. So that's exactly what Bird Emik is going to be doing throughout this fight. Tom desperate to make a bigger impact than that. They threw themselves across. It was a hell of a rebuild for Bird Emik to even get into this fight after facing Oh, and we're now seeing the tip of Bird Emik go against that spinning weapon getting locked in and the wheels are slowly disganglement.
I can't quite see, but the spinning weapon of Tom looking stuck on the demons.

FEMIC FLAPPING THE WHEELS. THE BUTTON IS PRESSED. Tonk is going to have to be careful now.
And Berdemic trying to find a place where they can get the pins on Tom. But Tom just doing enough damage, bouncing them away. And somehow Berdemic still has drive. But I'm amazed those wheels are still making contact.
It has about one and a bit wheels AND IT'S STILL RUNNING. So they're good.
They are determined to fight to the bitter end trying to selfright and just narrowly avoiding the pit as Tom goes in for another impact. And that front shield of dynamic is looking worse for wear.
And they managed to disable a weapon.
>> THE WEAPON BELT.
>> THE drive tonk.
>> So Tonk is now weaponless other than his ability to drive.
>> 15 seconds left in the match before IT GOES TO THE JUDGES. So if you're going to be wanted in a bit, 6 4 3 2 1. That is the end.

THE WEDGE OF HYPERION IS GONE. That is going to stop it deflecting a lot of the blows. And so now we got a cam now.

Buttercup already getting plunged up into the air.
And we're trying to get a flip. Moonshot is desperate for a flip. We haven't really seen an amazing amount from Moonshot today. So to get some redemption in this would be fantastic, but that is not going to help them.
Losing a massive part of their ramp and now sparks are starting to fly.
Pit enabled.
Massive, massive impact. The moonshot might be out after that. They do look immobilized. And Buttercup ramming up against the wall using their weapon against them.
And that is brought back into the fight.
SO CLOSE TO THE PIT. BUT finds his way into the field.
All right, Facupov is now completely out of the competition and we've got the waving white arms.
>> Traffic up against the yellow ropeteers.
That is the yellow robot full body spinner and we're going to see some spinning action and they are just lining up as the first impact goes between ouch and traffic.
And that is the best way to deal with Al is to throw him against the arena wall.
Why wave dash and static want to be a part of this? I have no idea.
Wave dash dealing their own damage though up against in traffic.
And we're now seeing ouch up onto his spinning weapons. That is going to be grinding the arena floor for the rest of the fight. And now we got traffic upside down as well for the first time today.
And now that's leaving Wave Dash and Static to fight it out against each other.
We have Ouch. begging for someone to hit them. And Wade Dash going in for a hit, but that was not enough. They are still the wrong way up.
And maybe now Static is going to come to the rescue. Not quite.
They're trying with their arm to flip them off to the side.
Traffic is still upside down. They are pretty much out of this fight.
>> And now Wave Dash lowering the pit. And are we going to see Static putting Ouch into the pit? Not quite. They're back onto their wheels. Ouch is back into this battle.
And it looks like a team up against so far. They've just gone back into the pie and immediately want them out again.
We're seeing Static do some brilliant self rights.
And we're up in the corner and I'm seeing something power down as a spy 4 3 2 1. And that is the end of the fight.
This is a whiteboard. This is going to be carnage. I'm not sure I'm going to bother explaining what's going on as we're going to see robots flying in the air. Sparks flying everywhere and very, very loud impacts.
And that is the yellow tiny wibbling, little ball out of control. And the green one is equally looking a bit static, just gyating, vibrating on the spot.
Massive, massive impact duo, orange duo up into the arena ceiling.
And the pit is now descending. So we can start to clear away some of these robots. Surely some of these are going to end up into the pit.
I would call it a breakdown, but it is truly just out of control. And into the UT zone is Duo. They managed to find themselves back up.
>> Keep going. Allow it. Allow it. Joe is overriding. A massive panel's just been disloded. I think that's off a blue duo.
Not quite sure.
Bite size panic getting very close to the pit. Not quite falling in as one of the tiny wibbling little box goes down into the pit. I think they're both out as the green one is just vibrating on the spot.
So duo are now going against themselves and we're seeing a pick up in carry by Pinesize Panic on PITA. PTA still in the fight but I think Pinesize is actually taking a disliking to PTA and they want them in the pit.
Everything's calmed down. A little false sense of quiet before the storm. 8 7 >> Final 5 seconds are approaching.
>> 3 2 1 >> And that is the end of the battle.
>> And Craig just saying his piece before the carnage comes. And immediately Bob charging straight into Scratch and a fork comes flying off.
And you can now see why everyone was scared to go up against Scratch. That weapon so devastating.
Sparks flying, shrapnel flying, and an axe here from Bob into the weapon. Send them flying back and Static. Both Static and Bob both going underneath. This is the team up we were expecting.
And Scratch upside down is actually making it harder for them to do as much damage as they would otherwise. That said, the axe of Bobs has been completely ripped off. They're missing a hand.
And I think we need a little bit of team up. Maybe one robot needs to do a pin whilst the other hits the button. Just like that.

Scratch though avoiding the pit.
