Sawhney correctly identifies the terminal decline of unipolarity, though what he calls multipolarity often looks more like a fragmented struggle for local leverage. It is a sobering reminder that strategic autonomy has replaced ideological alignment as the primary currency of global politics.

Islamabad Talks 2 Will Recognize That World is MultipolarAdded:
Good day, friends. Having lost the 40-day war and the naval blockade to Iran, President Trump now wants to end the war. And he's looking at the possibility of Islamabad talks part two to happen as soon as possible. If they happen, they'll be very different from part one talks that happened on 11th of April. Something that I'll discuss in my next video. In this video I want to talk about something very important significant that has happened and that has changed the world.
I want to talk about that and that is the concept of multipolarity that America is no longer the sole superpower that the world has changed.
The political scientists and strategists across the globe have been speaking of this multipolarity for more than a decade now. But nobody believed that till the war happened in West Asia. And here the people have seen with their own eyes that yes, America is no longer the single military power in the world that the world is no longer uniolar that the world has become multipolar. Now what is the significance of this? I will come to in the end. Let me first talk about the naval blockade which is in force which the Americans have imposed and Trump has said that the ceasefire is to continue for 2 weeks. That means still there are 5 days to go before the ceasefire lapses.
Now three significant things have happened that I want to touch upon. The first one is that Alazer has reported that something like 20 commercial vessels they have sailed through the American naval blockade.
But the more important thing is the statement that has come from the Chinese defense minister Admiral Don Jun. He has said that the Chinese ships will be in and out of Hermos because China has a trade and energy relations with Iran and most important he has said that Iran controls state of Hermos and it is open to us.
What this means is that Chinese publically are backing Iran that the state of Hermos is under Iran's sovereignity.
something that Iran has been saying for the long long time that this passage waterway is not an international waterway. It is a internal waterway and it is under the jurisdiction of Iran and Oman. Some things that I have explained in details in my earlier video.
Now just in case the ceasefire lapses and because uh as far as this naval blockade is concerned, it's an act of war. So things can get really uh dirty bad. So for that the Russian foreign minister Lavrov he said yesterday that Russia can help China fill up the shortfall of its energy that it is getting from the state of harmonos. So this is one significant thing that the Chinese are completely backing the Iranians publicly on as far as state of harmonos is concerned. something that the Americans want to be opened but this is something I will discuss in my next video. The second important thing is concerning Saudi Arabia. Now Saudi Arabia has done a complete U-turn of its policy.
Saudis who are backing or egging the Americans to continue the fight with Iran now have taken a opposite position.
And now there are reports that the Saudi prince Salman is telling the Americans to come to an agreement as long as the ceasefire is there because he's fully conscious that once the ceasefire is over it lapses then things can get pretty bad for Saudi Arabia.
And the Saudi foreign minister, he has publicly said that the era of relying on America for security has ended. And he has also said that how can America protect us when it cannot protect itself.
So it is because of this reason that the Saudis have activated uh with Pakistan their strategic defense agreement which was signed in 2025.
And now there are reports that something like 13,000 Pakistan army and their 12 to 18 jets they have come to Saudi Arabia for its security. So the point to make here is Saudi Arabia which is the biggest country of the six GCC countries has decided to replace the Americans with the Pakistanis as far as their security is concerned.
Now look at Oman and Qatar. They have already declared that we will remain neutral. Dao because the Omanis are there completely with the Iranians and the Qataris. They have publicly asked the Americans to shut down their base and their base is very big because what is on Qatari soil is the forward headquarter of America's central command. Over 10,000 soldiers are there.
So they have asked them to vacate this.
That leaves the GCC with Bahin, Kuwait and UAE. And the significant country in this is UAE. Now I come to my third point.
What makes UAE significant is that UAE is is both a full member of bricks and it has also signed the Abraham Accord with Israel.
and uh UAE their crown prince of Abu Dhabi. He was recently in China sorry where he met up with President Xi Ping. The two countries we know they have a bilateral trade of hundred billion dollars and he told the Xiinping that China should not support Iran in the war to which Xi Ping in their own Chinese way what we call the Chinese characteristics.
He gave out four points for peace in the Middle East and he said there is a need for peaceful coexistence for all the countries in the Middle East. Then there should be respect for national sovereignity. Then international rule should be followed by all the countries in the GCC. And then the most significant thing he said was to maintain a balance between peace and development. And all these things are not new. They are both part of the global governance system which was spelt out by Shigi Ping in 2025 at the SEO summit in China. and they are also part of the vision of the new world order. So this is not new at all. Let me then come to the new world order. What I said the concept of multipolarity that people have been speaking of since a very long time. For example, noted American political scientist John Mayer Shymer, he he says that the world became multipolar in 2017.
And why he has put 2017 as the year is because this is the year that the Americans banned Huawei and JTE.
there two companies from America that they will not be used in the American military and security uh systems.
I personally have been saying for the last couple of years that the world actually became multipolar in 2013 and my reasoning was very simple that I have been saying for a long time and that was that President Xi Ping he came to power in November 2012.
his foreign trip, first foreign trip he made to Moscow and the reason for was for simple for that China is a economic superpower and Russia is a military superpower. So he went there, he had a chat with President Putin and the two leaders agreed that yes, there was a need for a new world order.
And for the new world order, there was a need for a distinctive common vision, a new vision. A vision that backed peace, a vision that backed development and a vision towards which today 80% of the world which is the global south nations they are getting attracted and the five key things of the vision are already there on the screen and they are that all the countries in the world which is 193 countries they should have savvy and equality to decide what they want to do for themselves.
what should be their foreign policy?
What should be their development path?
And that is only possible if they accept the concept of indivisible security which is collective security. So to give importance to security but they maintain a balance between security and development with a focus on development and for that the third point is that everything should be UN based UN based rules UN based international order and should there should be no export of ideology that is the fourth point and the fifth is that in the 193 nation there should be no hegeimmons there should be no country which wants to do power projection, a country that wants to expand its spheres of influence. But countries should see each other as strategic partners. And the reason why I gave cutoff 2013 was simple because there was a background to that.
And the background was that in 2009 when President Obama he came to office, the Obama administration offered to China the concept of G2. What that meant was there was already a realization in America that China had become a economic superhouse big house. So what the Americans offered is that look economically you're doing very well you have risen. So the two countries together we can manage the world.
Chinese rejected that politely because they are a civilizational nation. They had their own idea and instead what they offered was a new type of international relations as part of which Xiinping had now joined up with President Putin not in a military alliance but in a strategic partnership as two partners for this new world order vision that I spoke about.
So disappointed by the response coming from Xiinping Obama administration we know in 2011 it ordered the pivot to Asia because there was a German worry in America in the Pentagon that the PLA had lot of capabilities today as much as the US military. In fact, this worry started in 2010 itself in the Pentagon and they kept thinking as to how to offset this PLA's capability that they are equal to us. So we know that in 2014 then the Pentagon also came out with its third offset strategy with a way to offset the PLA capability which was now equal to the US military capability by use of artificial intelligence and autonomy. So the point that I'm making is that this was all very much there for all this time but nobody really gave much serious thought to it and now this war in Asia has brought home the reality that the world has changed and therefore the second round of talks that happens which I said the Islamabad talks part two they will be different and the reason for that is that America will have to treat Iran with all the rights as a sovereign nation and that will make a lot of difference. I will talk about that in my next video. Thank you for now.
