Three Hive Killers! [Livestream Replay]Added:
Live in the hive?
>> Not yet.
>> Well, gosh darn it all.
>> We are on on YouTube, I think.
>> We're live in the hive on YouTube.
>> People coming in.
>> Oh, are Killer Me Nation gathering for the slaughter?
>> Yeah, YouTube. Uh >> slaughter.
Where? Yeah. Yeah. Killer B Nation.
Stick with us. We're getting the IT department figured out, guys.
Oh my god. What? We just see these guys 10 20 minutes ago.
>> Yeah.
>> Oh, I missed you. Killer B Nation. No, really. No, really. I did. No, really.
Wow. Everything looking uh semi-coser.
>> I don't know what's going on.
>> I don't know what's going on. H said he know what's going on.
>> Ridiculous. Okay, >> come on, Killer B Nation. Give it a second. You guys, you can look at Hosh's list for asking questions while we're driving. [laughter] Yes, because we have to drive and answer questions of people that are going, "Help! Help! We have bees."
And uh everybody does. I mean, it's just ridiculous. How many are there on this ranch? Three.
>> Three.
>> Three hives, you guys. Holy cow. We're in St. David still.
>> Yes. And we have another one after this.
So, hang on a second. We got a little bit of wind, too.
>> All right. We're ready to roll.
>> Are we Are we rolling? Well, come on.
Let's go rolling then. Raw hide.
[clears throat] Now, so we're bringing you all to the pond.
Look at this. Isn't this beautiful?
We're in St. David. St. David is famous for artisian water. Yes. Comes out of the ground. Amazing, huh? Poke a hole in the ground, water comes up. Oh, look. We got fish. Look like maybe sunny. Look at this hook. We got little sunnies down here.
Look like a little sunfish. Anybody see that?
>> Yeah.
>> And we got a uh the beautiful Kantiki boat.
And it's not all good looks and uh floating around. There's bees in that tree over there. See that kind of short crooked tree? Glad they're not in that damn tall one, huh? See that short crooked tree?
>> Yeah. That there's killer bees in there.
Killer bee nation. Hi, I'm back. Reed booth. Killer bee guy live in the hive.
We're in St. David. We got three hives on this ranch. Three hives. Say good afternoon, hos.
>> Good afternoon, hos.
>> I think it's getting better. Just personal. What do you guys think? So, uh, isn't this beautiful? There's so much of this in St. David. That's what the big attraction is. Honestly, for me, in the summer, it's hot and humid. It's like Texas because it's much more humid here because there's artisian water.
Okay. A tradeoff. You know, I personally like the elevation of of where I'm at at the ranch at 5,800 ft. This is about 40 maybe 4200 ft down here, something like this. But artisian water, so it's a real toss up. I thought about living here, that's for sure. But I didn't. So there.
So anyway, we got bees over here. We have bees in a down log and bees in a tire right on this one ranch. It's endless. Then we're going to tombstone and getting up in an attic where the bees chased the guy off. He climbed up through the little hatch to go look in the attic and saw bees coming and going and shined the light up. And of course I told you a million times they attack light when it's dark or at night with the name dark at night, right? And they chased him off. He didn't get stung, but boy, he got out of there quick. Don't do this at home. This is not a DIY channel.
All right, killer B Nation. We're going to get our gear. Uh, you already pretty well done post. I think we're going to need you. Are we going to need a ladder over there? We should bring the little blue one.
>> I don't know. I don't know how high up they are.
>> Oh, man. From here, if that floats down.
>> Yeah.
>> Then they're up a little ways.
>> Maybe run I'll run over and take a look.
>> Oh, okay. There you go. All right. Well, Hos's going to run over and take a look.
>> I can bring them with me.
>> Oh, you know what? Take everybody with him and I'll get a fiverr started.
>> All right. Sounds good.
I don't want to go that way.
All right.
Not entirely sure how to get around this thing, but I think this is it up here.
So, for those of you who are new to the channel, we are Killer Bee Exterminators.
Arizona has a killer bee problem.
It's been a problem for 30 years out here. The African eyes came in in the early 90s. By 98, we were 100% saturated.
All right, let's see.
I'm looking for a hive.
Anyway, killer bees, they kill people, they kill pets, they kill livestock, and uh they're really bad for the environment. They compete with native bees for resources, inbreed native plants, spread invasive plant species, they spread diseases to native bees.
We don't need these bees.
Where is this hive?
You guys watch for it. Let me know if you see it.
H.
Wait a minute.
Are they coming and going from here?
I thought I saw something go in there.
Huh?
Now, it's windy today and overcast.
Well, cloudy, I should say.
So, it makes it a little harder to find them. Maybe they're down below here.
I can't find them.
>> Huh?
>> I can't find them.
>> Around the other side of this tree.
>> This one?
>> Yeah. On the other side.
>> Yeah.
>> All the way around.
>> Okay.
>> And a split in the tree.
>> Oh.
>> Below that upper limb. Yeah, I think I see him. Hold on.
Dude, this is going to be a mess.
>> You see a split?
>> Yeah, I got him. I got I got him. So ladder.
>> No, we're not going to need a ladder.
But >> over >> Yeah. Well, I got to get my big blues.
>> Okay.
All right. So, >> so what does it look like?
>> It's one of those salt cedars.
>> Oh, god.
>> Split.
>> Yeah, >> I see where they're coming in and out.
>> Yeah, >> that thing is so full of holes.
>> Oh [ __ ] Here we go again. I hate these hollow trees like this. There's just so many damn holes in them, guys.
Well, uh, I've got a doctor bag there.
And I got a lot of expanding going. Are we going to need more than four cans?
>> I hope not.
>> No [ __ ] >> Ridiculous, actually.
>> Damn it, these trees. And we don't need a ladder.
>> No.
>> All right. Well, that's [ __ ] I'll get my net on. We'll go. Hi-ho. Hi-ho. All right. Whatever, [ __ ] Killer be nation.
Here we go. For those of you just joining us, I'm Reed Booth, Killer Bee Guy. Big shout out to all of our friends in Bisby and Tombstone, Sierra Vista, Douglas. We were just in Douglas this morning. Coochis County, we love you.
Yes, you know we do. We love the rest of the world, too. But we love Gochi County more.
>> Yeah. All right. So, uh, that's pretty handy. We don't need a ladder for this one. I don't think we do for any of them here than on this ranch.
>> Yeah.
>> All right. Wild West. We're still in Coochis County. St. David Zeno Chief County as is Tombstone and Will Cox and Benson and Alfreda and Purleville and Douglas and I can go on and on and on but I won't. Yeah, I will eventually you know that. Uh, all right. Hi ho hi ho.
Go get her done. Where are we going? You blaze the trail.
All right.
Uh, through the weed, huh? Yeah. Bear right here.
>> Bear right alone.
Kind of a little woodsy here. Is it?
>> Oh yeah.
>> Still got to watch the snake mushroom. Look at that. That's how wet it's been. Actually a mushroom here in the desert. Still fig, huh? Okay. This is getting >> Come on, guys.
>> Oh my god.
>> Yeah, right.
>> So, they're going to come out of there.
As you can see, the hell are there?
>> I'll show you.
>> Oh, >> yeah.
>> I do see a little bit.
>> Well, right here.
>> That's it. Yeah.
>> What in the hell? All right, I got to get out some python first here.
What the hell?
>> Yeah, >> man. Jesus.
>> Yeah, look at this hole.
>> This don't care about my feelings.
>> Well, it's this whole gash.
>> Oh, yeah.
>> Yeah, >> that's You know what? This is a willow.
>> Oh, okay.
>> Yeah, this is a willow tree, which are absolutely beautiful and messy. Oh my.
Messy as hell.
>> There they are. So, we've got horses on this ranch. We can't let them go nuts.
Uh oh, wow. It's muddy here, too. I'm not used to mud, you know, water and [ __ ] >> Right. Uh, what is going on with this?
They're not They don't care about our feelings.
Oh, >> right.
>> We're trying to ascertain where the front door.
>> I mean, >> where's the front door, though?
>> Right. Here's where they were coming out.
>> They didn't shut the front door, >> but now they're coming out. I can bet you they're coming out on the other end.
>> All right. Well, here's what we're going to do. We're going to put a kabash on.
We're going to try to find how to get this in there so we can kill the bees in here. And then they're going to come out of everywhere, but not in attack mode. So, once again, Killer Be Nation, we have horses here on this ranch. And we cannot let them go completely insane. And I don't mean the horses. Now, if it's this could be a new hive where it's only 10,000 bees. Oh, darn. Yeah, we're hoping it's new.
>> Yeah, we're hoping it's brand new. It's like But then again, that one we just did at the monastery, 10 things of comb, one week thing. They're just nuts. Is there any other thing around anywhere else?
>> Not there. It's just that See this gash goes all the way up and then it's hollow on the inside.
>> Damn it.
>> Well, it's going to take some extra home for sure. Huh.
>> I want to see. Are they coming out of the hole on the other side? You know, where it's split and it's wide open.
>> Yeah. Uh up here. Yeah. Are they pouring out of >> yet anyway? Hold on. Uh, of course they are.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. Come on over here.
>> That's what I was afraid of.
>> Yeah. They're not in attack mode, though. But >> so if you look up here, h >> Yeah.
>> Right up there.
>> Yeah.
>> Come on. Back over here a little bit.
And they're right in that big >> big [ __ ] >> Yep. They're coming out.
>> They're in that big [ __ ] >> Why does he say that? Why does he do that?
>> All right. So more kabashing.
So this doesn't hurt the tree. Oh, they're getting loud. Hear them?
>> Yeah, I can.
>> This is what we want.
All right, so that's So they're going to start coming out and let's get the hell out of here mode.
These are all three new seals, guys. We got to kind of make quick work of it because we got horses and whatnot. Boy, I wish we had some defo.
>> Would defoam be good to put in there?
>> I got it.
>> Okay, >> listen out loud, huh?
>> Yeah, I can hear it.
>> Listen to that.
>> I can hear it.
>> Which only means that what we're doing is working.
>> And that's all it means.
>> That's all it means, you guys. God darn it.
Wow. We will have to Well, I'll have to drive to where the tire and the other one is, and you can uh take the family down. The killer bean nation. God, thank you guys so much for all your help. I mean, the gift cards and uh I mean, Lton, man, that 500 bucks toward uh toward uh Home Depot. Thank you, brother. We're using it. This great all that spray adhesive and whatnot. And I mean, the uh expanding foam, that's where we get the expanding foam and the caulk going right to it, man. We just saved so many people's lives with that donation you made. We appreciate it, man. Just a gift card, you know.
>> Yeah.
>> And um Oh, God. Who was it? Somebody just sent a $50 one. Was it Tom McNeme or uh Randy? Who was that?
>> I think it was Tom.
>> I think it might have been Tom. I don't know. And of course uh Jim L, where the hell are you now? You traveling tool.
You a get all over, man.
>> Now, yeah, these are honey bees. A lot of people are saying they're killing honeybees. Yep.
>> Goddamn right. We are.
>> We're killing honey bees.
>> Yeah. You know what?
>> We are killing Africanized honeybees here in Coochis County, Arizona.
>> Yep. Africanized honey bees are honey bees, but they are invasive. And anybody that goes honeybees, you don't know what Africanized honeybees are >> or can do.
>> You don't you don't know.
>> Or can >> you don't know and I'm all done talking about it. No, I'm not. Um >> there I mean there are people that >> Well, you said earlier, Reed, you said there's two kinds of people. That's it.
Two kinds of people in the world. People that have been had a bad encounter with Africanized honeybees and those who haven't.
>> And those who haven't tend to uh >> oh no more tell Yeah. They know more than the people that that have uh had that encounter. These things are deadly.
They kill people. They kill pets. They kill livestock.
>> Here in Coochis County, everybody has a relative or an animal or someone that's gotten killed by them.
>> I'm not kidding.
>> No, it's real. It's real.
>> Real annoying when people yell at us.
>> Oh, honey bees.
>> It really does. Don't you know, everybody has shaded GPT. Everybody has perplexity. just do a little research, you know, but uh you know, sarcastically I say because a lot of people don't get my sarcasm apparently. Don't let the facts get in the way of your opinions.
>> Yeah.
>> You know, I heard another good one, you know, soft hands, strong opinions.
>> Nice.
>> Is that good or what?
>> Nice. Soft hands, strong opinions.
>> Yeah. Soft hands, strong opinions. Oo, that hurts a lot of people. I like I give a [ __ ] >> Are you going to Are you going to dump some in on this? Oh, you did. Oh, look at the foam. Good. Oh, it's foaming up.
That's perfect. I kind of thought that went through. That's what I was hoping.
Now, the other thing I got to fear >> is fear itself. No, the other thing I have to fear is uh if they got any other holes down below, which I do not see.
>> No, none. Let me look at this side of the tree.
>> None. We were at the monastery.
>> It's over. That joke's passed.
>> No, that none. No, that I like the monastery. [laughter] >> Well, we do have a knot hole over here, Reed.
>> We do not.
[laughter] >> We do. We do. We do not. It might be good just to plug that.
>> No, not here.
>> No, not not. [laughter] >> Give it a shake.
>> Give it a little shake. Relian this one.
A little knot for you. Show everybody.
You >> I did you film again. Go in there.
>> Yeah. Yeah.
>> Oh, well, I'm kind of surprised nothing was coming out of there.
>> Well, I think that's it.
>> I think you did it. All right. Give me that. God, [laughter] give me that [ __ ] thing.
>> So, this is interesting cuz there's a crack right next to the one they were coming and going out of. Yeah, >> it kind of looks like that one.
>> They were all They were all coming to it. Yeah.
>> So, we really knocked down Los Gardo Bezos.
>> That's the guard be. I don't know. It's been a long month for your Hispanic is improving.
>> Oh, Gardo Bezos [laughter] expanding.
OMO hero.
>> Boy, you're good.
>> Oh, but I'm almost fluent. Almost fluent. Watch me when I get stung. I go totally fluent. Oh, this is taking it, dude.
>> Go good. I think a couple of canos of this old expanding Oklahoma.
>> Well, I was a little worried about this one.
>> Huh. Anyway, what >> I was a little worried about this one.
>> I was too. I worry about all of them, but this one more so cuz standing trees pain in ass.
Okay, this is so this is a new conceal.
Do not try to [ __ ] at home, you guys.
Bunch of damn rednecks and [ __ ] Oh my god.
I mean, it's just running us ragged. If you can be run ragged by having fun, >> we're ragged.
>> That's what we're doing. Ragged. Of course, we start out I definitely started out pretty ragged. That's for goddamn sure. Rough around the edges.
>> Yes.
>> You know. Yeah.
>> I started off squeaky clean and pristine and now I'm also ragged.
>> Actually, literally did. [laughter] >> Uhhuh. No, that literally.
>> I'm a good boy. I'm a good boy. You were.
>> I tell myself.
>> Were [laughter] past tense that [ __ ] now.
>> Yeah. Yeah. So, you know, in spite of the behavior, these are Africanized honeybees. Here in Arizona, 100% of the feral, unmanaged honeybee hives are Africanized. It's been that way here since 1998. You can't trust feral honeybees in Arizona. You can't really trust feral honeybees anywhere in the in the in the lower 40s.
>> Not anymore. No.
>> Yeah. I mean, who were you saying there was an entity, a government entity that basically just said you should assume African?
>> No, it was a farm progress report.
>> There it is.
report which a lot of ranchers and farmers rely on for current up-to-date [ __ ] and they are spot on as far as the aggress infestation of these things across the United States. So they said why wouldn't you assume they're all feral? All the feral hives are African.
Why wouldn't you? I mean romance they have they are these are not ants and termites. These they will kill your livestock. Yeah, >> they will kill your family. Why play with it? Why do why coddle them? Why?
>> Well, you know, Reed, they they help the planet.
>> Oh, yeah.
>> Without the bees, we'd die.
>> The only thing that help is our asset.
>> So, this is one of the most one of the most uh you know how they say a little knowledge >> will get you killed, >> right? So, that business of without bees, we'll all die.
>> There are 20,000 >> singing honey bees.
>> Yeah. There are 20,000 species of bees on Earth. So, which bees are you talking about? Exactly. Are you talking about the livestock honeybees? Uh, >> is that what they are, >> right? That are, you know, invasive to the Americas.
>> Yeah.
>> Uh, are you talking about the af without Africanized honeybees will all die? I mean, >> I mean, when you're talking, >> we didn't we didn't have them before 57.
So, why are we going to die without them now?
>> When you're talking about, you know, save save the snakes, which ones?
>> Yeah. Which snakes, >> you know, and where? I mean, if they're invasive, you going to save them? Of course not.
>> So hard to get people to take off their Winnie the Poo blast.
>> So, here's one for you guys. There were no stinging honeybees, apus variety honeybees. There were no apis variety honeybees in Arizona before 1872 ever.
>> Oh, yeah. They were brought by that guy that general.
>> They were brought here to uh for for alalfa farm, you know, sea bacon, alalfa seed.
>> Yeah, that's what it was.
So, >> did that thing poke you in the head?
>> Well, we're just, you know, I'm just doing a little tree trimming while we're out here. [laughter] >> Oh my god.
>> Killer bee removal and landscaping.
[laughter] >> But yeah, no stinging honeybees. No Apus variety honey bees in Arizona until 1872 when General JB Allen brought them from San Diego. He brought two hives and that was how it all started.
>> Okay, we got this, man. Let's go to a tire.
>> All right.
>> Oh, yeah. Fuel be nice. I'm taking you astray. We're going to go get another five and then another one and then some more and some other [ __ ] happen. All right. Here we go.
>> Oh my god. What the hell? This ain't working.
>> Oh, look at they got a little chimney here. How cool.
Burning the midnight flame.
So, what was his name? JB Hunt.
>> JB Allen.
>> Allen. I always refer refer to Hunts. I don't know why.
>> Mhm.
>> JB Allen. So, he brought them on a covered wagon, right?
>> Mhm.
>> Oh, yeah. Traveled here from San Diego with these bees. Brought them to Tucson and they started keeping bees. You know, bees split, right? The hives hives give birth to other hives. So, they You want to walk the >> They kept it going and Yeah. Yeah. So, all that to say, feral European honeybees in the Americas, they're they're not necessary.
We have 4,000 species of native bees in North America. Now, none of them produce honey. There is a stingless honeybee in Central and South America that makes honey, but they do they they don't sting. They bite like ants, okay? And there's a there's hundreds of species of them, but we don't see those up here. Unfortunately, they're pretty great.
But stinging honeybees, apis variety honeybees, they're in the Americas for pollination.
That's it. And when we say pollination, we're talking about pollinating crops.
And when we're talking about crops, we're not talking about your backyard garden. Your backyard garden will do fine with native bees. We're talking about, you know, monocropping almond orchards in California.
>> All right. So, we got two of them here.
I got to reload the bucket. I got to reload the bucket here with full on ammo. We're going full auto, guys. Oh, goodness sake. Kill me, Nick. It's so much fun to have you guys along. Mostly.
You like that, h?
>> Mostly.
>> Yeah. For the most part, we like having y'all with us.
No, I'll tell you what, YouTube, we've got all our fans over there on YouTube.
We love you guys. We really appreciate your support. We appreciate the fact that you >> literally couldn't do it without you.
>> Yeah. And and y'all, you know, >> saving lives, animals, >> thank you for educating yourselves. You know, >> the you gang is an educated bunch and we really like that. Uh the knuckleheads out there, the naysayers, the poo pooers, the downplayers, uh you know, come on, do a little research, use your brain for something other than slop.
>> Yeah.
>> And uh >> voicing opinions means nothing. It's just it just it's like thoughts and prayers. What was that one I heard?
thoughts and prayer or or prayers for um for those who care enough to do the very least.
>> Thoughts and prayers.
>> Yeah.
>> Well, >> I mean I'm a I'm a [ __ ] actually.
[laughter] >> That's what that guy on the phone the other day said.
>> [ __ ] cynic. Yeah. Well, he did actually called me up living in Coochis County wondering how to take care of his bees in his backyard. What kind of suits do we wear? No, I am not going to help you get killed. And he called me an [ __ ] Well, no, he called me a dick.
He said, "You're kind of a dick."
[laughter] >> No, I am. I'm a [ __ ] >> He's a bit of a dick. Reed Booth. A bit of a dick. [laughter] >> Just Just the tip. Just the tip. Just the tip.
>> What am I been down down? I'm going >> We are veering into the gutter.
[laughter] >> It's >> actually This whole show is the gutter.
>> It's been a long >> Welcome to the gutter. It's been a long month, guys.
>> Yeah, it has been a long month.
>> Oh my god.
>> Yes. Tensions are rising high.
>> Yeah. Yeah. See, do you see the way he pulled that off of there?
>> That was just sheer exhaustion. That >> he's overwhelmed. Reed is over. He's over rot.
>> Oh, it's been I mean, literally, uh, last night I was in bed at 7:30.
>> I was up at 4 this morning. I mean, I went right out. It's just like you you probably went I mean, you haven't you have the babies, >> the family, the chickens, the goats.
Jesus Christ.
>> Yeah. Yeah.
>> My god.
>> No, it doesn't stop. It never ends.
>> Never ends.
>> Just when I'm asleep. Uh, right. Right.
People asked, "You ever take a vacation?" Yeah. When my head hits that pillow, >> right? That's a That's a vacay.
>> He's a pillow pounder.
>> A couple on me a second ago.
>> Yeah. No, I did too.
>> There were Didn't I wasn't very happy about how they were thinking about me.
>> No, the vibe sucked.
>> They uh Yeah, I wasn't very happy about that.
>> Not very welcoming.
>> I got to see if I can find a straw for my fander cuz it'll make it easier to Oh, you know what? I'm just going to grab this. I'm just going to So, all right. Hi ho. Hi ho. Killer B Nation hive number two. For those of you just joining us, I'm Reed Booth. Killer B guy. We're in St. David. We have uh >> Yes, I think. Is there any in it? Yeah.
>> Here. All the ammo's good. We got full auto. Uh Artisian Water Country Wild West. We're about 4200 ft, maybe 4,300 feet elevation. I love the high desert.
It's the only way to be as far as I'm concerned, you know. Boy, you get down to sea level and it feels like you're swimming in the air is so thick to you if you've lived up here this long. All right, let's go around.
Now, we do have a tree down over here we have to take care of also, but for now, I don't know. Can we get around back here?
>> Yeah, if we go around around.
>> Oh, boy.
>> Yeah, a little more.
>> Think so?
>> Yep.
>> All right.
Hi ho. Hi ho. Can you see comments if you can?
>> No, not in this son.
>> All right. Well, killer be sticking with us for banana getting. I think I'm going in here.
>> Y looks like maybe a horse path or something. Oh, there it is.
>> Yeah.
>> Okay. Now, we can't let them get too riled up till there because we have horses nearby.
>> What are they in a tire, right?
>> Yeah.
>> You need me to drag that out?
>> I don't know.
I don't even know which tire they're in.
I think it's the one right behind >> It's that behind the behind the one that's on the trailer.
>> Yep.
>> Sound of an awkward spot.
>> Oh, it's awkward.
>> You know, we get into these spots.
>> That's what they do.
>> Where if we get if we get hurt, we get bit by a snake. Just getting out of here is difficult.
>> What? All right. Wait a minute. I saw him coming out of here >> underneath.
>> Oh, great. Um, all right. Damn it.
>> Why don't I pull it out? And let's [ __ ] Well, >> I know. We don't want them to get them while >> All right. I'm going to see if there's any air in it there. Uh I am so I'm confused.
I'm You know what I'm going to do? Give them a little bit of spray adhesive just so it can't light up. And then I'm going to stand that thing up.
>> Yeah. Did you see that one come out >> of the center?
>> In the middle.
>> Yeah. Of the center.
>> What the hell's going on here? I mean, where's the room?
This is non-toxic spray adhesive for now.
We just don't want them going completely nuts.
Okay.
Oh yeah. Right.
Oh my god.
>> Here they come. [ __ ] >> Yeah.
>> See them?
>> Oh yeah.
>> Okay. Before we have the great reveal, I'm going to knock down a shitload of them because of the horses and whatnot.
>> Yeah, we got horses coming out anywhere else.
>> We can't.
>> No, that's it.
>> This is enough. We don't want to. So, this could be a bad this could be a class five or six. We already see that.
I'm not lifting them up from here unless I have to. They are coming out of here.
All right. Um, [ __ ] So, I'm trying to knock down as many garbes as possible with a non-toxic spray adhesive. I'm afraid when I lift this up, there might be a split in this tire. Uh, I don't think they're underneath the rim. I don't really care.
But here we go, guys. So, move these sticks and twigs out of the way. No snakes under the trailer. Holy snakes alive. Oh, [ __ ] you. Come on, you goddamn thing. There we go. And yep, they're inside. Here we go.
>> Oh yeah. So, we're going to do this quick. So, that these spreadies have did do wonders, but now we're going to really do wonders. Look, look at this up here, ho. Look at them piling out of here.
>> Is the tire split at all? It doesn't look like it, >> huh? there. It's just coming in and out around the rim.
>> Yep.
>> Yeah.
>> I don't even see any slits.
>> It's a rim job. Okay. [laughter] Oh, [ __ ] K. H.
>> Come on.
>> That's the other channel.
>> Well, you know, kind of a bee giving milk.
>> A booby.
>> Yes. Yes.
>> So, it's getting loud in there. This is a full-on hive killer bee nation. I mean, first of all, you have to assume they're all Africanized. I don't know if I'm making any headway on that or not.
They're going to start coming out and get the hell out mode like usual.
All right, this is working really well.
Like I said, we got horses around. We cannot let them go nuts. Three hives on one ranch. Okay, that's about 250 to 300,000 bees. 500 stings equal a snake bite. This is why the ranchers and cowboys out here and farmers are like, "No, get rid of the damn things."
They've all lost animals. They've all Many have lost loved ones.
They're absolutely no joke.
>> Right. Now it's expanding home time in the city >> in the country.
>> In the Oh, yeah. St. David.
>> Yeah. This is >> Yeah, [laughter] you're right. Not exactly a metropolis, right?
>> Yes. But it's not also not that rural.
>> No. Well, it is for anybody who's been anywhere.
>> Yeah. I was uh Yeah. We don't like cities here. We're we're uh we're self-contained. We can take care of it all. I mean, you know, I've I can skin animals. I can I can hide and do all that [ __ ] You know what? I got to bring everybody over and show them how loud it is. Look at you guys. Listen to this for a second. Here's your BSMR moment.
>> Brought to you by Killerbe Honey. Go to killerbeguy.com right now and get your honey. Back to you, Hos.
>> All right. Come on. [laughter] Come with me.
>> Come on.
>> So dangerous. Holy [ __ ] And the beans are bad, too.
>> Okay, this is working good.
>> That tire is filled with them.
>> Yeah, completely.
>> And you know, believe it or not, if you've never seen our channel before, even if that tire spilled, that's a relatively small house.
>> Right. Right.
>> Still deadly. Still deadly. Well, 500 stings equal a snake bite.
>> Yeah. Now tens of thousands of >> the vibe here. They were ready to rumble and we put the kibash on the guard bees.
>> Y.
>> So knocked them down. And now the the temperament though is still >> No, they're >> I'd call it a three.
>> Yeah, that's a two or three. They they would I wouldn't not take my off.
>> No. No.
>> End up very unhappy and in the hospital or more.
>> That's the biggest problem with these bees is you just don't know what they're going to do, >> right? Yeah. Totally. I don't know what they're going to do. You'll notice every job we go in and it's not a stick. Every job we go in, we are full armor going in and then if we need, you know, we're like, "All right, we'll take our gloves off." But we expect >> Well, that's only after. I mean, that is only after actually um like assessing the situation. Now, you know, if we'll take off the gloves, not at this level of aggression.
>> No, I wouldn't take my >> Absolutely not. they go down a notch or two and we you take our gloves off.
That's so that it's easier to manipulate things, you know, um and and you know, handle stuff, but normally we just have to get used to using these big birthing gloves, you know. And I found this like uh the other day with the boys at DNM drilling. And thank you so much, Randy.
I hope you get to see this. Um uh we had to pull that well head up, right? Very, very dangerous and so mean. Those bees attacked us a half a mile away before we got there when we pulled up to meet those guys. They were in the trucks.
They they had attacked from a half a mile away and it was just a horrible situation. But they all had on the big blues. And I got to commend them cuz those guys are pros. They were operate they were operating that machinery even though it's all really hard with these big blues on like it was nothing. Total dexterity. But you know these these are ranch boys. These guys are are from here and they're you know know what they're doing cowboys. So, we love working with the with our people out here. That's for damn sure. So, these bees though, they are so pervasive. It's just when you think that the average number of killer beehive removals just in Tucson, I don't know what the hell it is in Phoenix.
Just in Tucson is 10,000 a year. Jesus, what is Tucson? Onethird the size of Phoenix or less.
>> Yeah, >> I really don't know.
>> It's a big place.
>> I mean, and that's not the number of hives there are killer bee nation.
That's the number of people that call up and go, "We've been attacked. We got to hive under the shed. We got something going on." Right now, people always say, "Well, why don't you go to give it all that business?" I [clears throat] don't like the city. I like where I'm at. You know, I I don't need to get bigger. I really don't. I I like it right here. I like bringing you guys along, the family, the killer be nation, and uh you know, educating everybody about it and not having any fun at all. Never any fun. I'm [ __ ] with you.
>> Yeah.
>> So, I'm going to put some more expanding foam in here. and then we're going to work our way out of this jungle.
>> Here's a question for you. Do these surviving bees >> and they're not necessarily surviving, but do the do the will these bees that are not in there start a new colony?
>> Well, you know, and that's a really good question. A lot of new eyes on the on the subject. Um, and that's a really good question because it would look like all these bees flying around would just go somewhere else and and get her done somewhere else, right? Not possible. Not possible. Uh they they belong to this trailer tire. I think it is a trailer tire. I use you love my analogy about trailer parks. I think this actually is a trailer tire. Um they belong to this hive. This the hive that's in here, the all those bees, even though each bee can fly up to three miles to bring back nectar, they're still individual cells of that hive. So when they fly out up to three miles to collect nectar, they can't make a few stops at other trailers and other bars on the way home, they belong to this hive. That's it. They are part of this organism.
And so the bees that are flying around right now, they can't go anywhere else.
They're all enemies of each other. So these bees, we call remnant bees, and they will die off over the coming days.
Period. They can't start their own hive.
The a the amputated limb thing is what you guys always hear me go back to. If your hand is lpped off, you're gonna be fine. Unless it's your left one. It depends on which one you use.
>> That's the other channel.
>> That is the other channel. Damn it.
>> Now, now, >> yeah, >> a know-it-all McGee on Tik Tok here [laughter] >> just said just just said that these are not Africanized honeybees.
>> Oh, well, now interesting because we do hear that a lot now. And I know what you're basing it on, Knowit McGee. Um, that was that wasn't his actual >> Yeah, that was his name.
>> No.
>> Well, I wish it was. Oh, that's hilarious. It is. Now you got to change your handle name all >> out there. That's hilarious. Yeah.
>> Okay. So, I used to think the same thing when I in the early 90s when these guys came across the border, the African eyes, and the labs in Tucson made it very clear to us. They look the same.
The difference is genetic. Has nothing to do with their looks or how they're behaving. So after sending tens of thousand, I mean just thousands of samples, everybody who had anything to do with bees in Arizona sent samples to the labs in Tucson for testing a percentage of Africanization to find out what the hell's going on. In 1998, after 5 years of getting all this, they called up everybody, including me, and said, "Don't send anymore. We're throwing them away. Kill them all. It's a done deal.
They're all Africanized, no matter how they look or how they're behaving at this at this point in time." So, I understand where you came at that from, you know, and you won't see me being this nice normally. All right. You normally like, well, >> we just get we just get that kind of thing a lot.
>> Yeah, we get that all the time. They're not they're not Africanized. Can't tell by looking. It's genetic. And the labs in Tucson have confirmed that they all are. And honestly to us, it doesn't make a [ __ ] because they're invasive.
>> Yeah.
>> Either way, they're invasive. So use your chat G CPT and your Plexity and your Grock and whatever and find out what's going on, you know, because like I said, opinions are [ __ ] Yeah.
>> But don't let facts get in the way of them. Yeah.
>> You know, you're looking at a a class 2, class 3 Africanized honey beehive. If you want to see class 5, class 6, >> check out our long form content on YouTube.
>> Yeah. I mean, you want to see >> Well, I mean, yesterday >> Oh, I can't even remember >> at the Holiday Inn.
>> Oh my god. That was a That was class.
That was interesting cuz there were two hives 100 ft from each other and one was about a class three or less and the other one was a [ __ ] five man at least. I mean a class six a class 6 is really serious. That gets our attention.
Yeah. Right. Right. Hos but a class 5 is pretty much standard procedure. We usually encounter a few a day. Try to bring you guys along on most of them.
>> So uh hos hos started the class system from class one. used to be class one to class five with class one being you could do it in your skiibbies and class five being what the [ __ ] am I doing this for a career for and class six now which we added just I guess after portal to hell or >> something like that >> something like that it was >> we had a bad one they were just we' never seen [ __ ] I mean through the suits through the suits >> oh yeah >> so class 6 came into being and man you'll know when we get into a class 6 we will say oh boy this is this is run this is you know horrible so I'm going to put a little more expanding foam in to be nation and then we're going to go and uh and do some have some more fun.
We got a tree to do now that's laying down. Thank God because >> you know >> now the thing is too the temperament that you're seeing at any given point with a hive is not something stable.
It's not like oh those bees over there are nice and they just keep being nice.
Like that's not what happens. The behavior changes from day to day. So, this hive today is acting like a three or a two actually. And it's really really gotten quiet.
>> I mean, in 5 minutes it could be a six, >> but but it changes like tomorrow this same hive could be a six.
>> That's the problem with them.
>> Yeah. hidden right now.
>> Well, for example, the hive this morning, it was overcast, it was raining in Douglas. That same hive that we knocked out this morning >> killed five dogs.
>> Killed five dogs, stung up a baby, stung up an old man, >> and we don't know how many other people >> at 8:00 on Friday night.
>> Same hive.
>> Same hive. We get there today and they're acting like angels.
>> Yeah, but remember, according to know-it-all McGee, they're not a they're not African. They're not killer bees.
>> Know-it-all McGee. Thanks for watching.
to know it all. McGee, we hope you [laughter] tune in again and continue to expand your knowledge.
>> Continue to Oh my god. And we do need the advice. All right, let's go to that tree over there.
>> It It's good to learn, everybody, right?
It's good to learn, >> but be open to learning.
>> Yeah, you got to be open. You got to be no open to new information. You can't be dogmatic about anything.
>> How the hell am I getting out of here?
>> Oh my goodness sakes. Hiking.
>> Yeah, don't get don't get stuck. You got to learn. And just cuz you haven't heard about something before doesn't know it doesn't mean it doesn't exist or it does exist or whatever.
>> In other words, every man thinks the limitations of his mind is the limitations of the world.
>> Cuz learning things is fun.
>> Fun. We're having fun. You love it.
[laughter] You love it.
>> You're going to love it.
>> You love it.
>> Period. You're going to You're going to love it. It's over there somewhere, huh?
>> Yeah. Just around the around the corner.
I'm going to grab another uh expanding home. Boy, we're going through this. I can't thank thank Lton enough for that big ass gift card. Oh, yeah.
>> From Home Depot. And >> no, it really helps. The gift cards help, guys. And the super chats and stuff. It really helps us. It helps us buy supplies. That cuts down on our overhead, >> which is obscene. You have no idea the overhead between the price of gas and the price of uh of supplies and uh what I eat for lunch. The overhead is out [laughter] of control.
It's out of control.
>> You guys would not believe it.
>> Yeah.
>> Oh, the misery.
>> Yes.
>> Oh my god. We don't even stop for lunch.
>> No, we don't even eat. I haven't eaten in weeks.
[laughter] >> Only honey.
>> Yeah. Yeah, >> that's hilarious. Okay, more expanding home. Here we go.
Man, we actually bought Home Depot out at one time in Sierra Vista from Expanding Home. That's how much fun we have with it.
>> Saving people's lives.
Well, native pollinators. So, we got Can't thank you guys enough.
>> Native bees gang. 4,000 species of native bees in North America.
>> Oh, right.
>> 4,000 species. Right.
>> Yep. And 1,200 species of native bees in this uh in the desert southwest. Really the high desert sonoran region. 1,200 species of native bees. All at risk thanks in part in large part to honeybee Africanization. Everybody's going where are the bees? Why why are the bees disappearing? Meanwhile, they're relocating honeybees.
>> Exactly.
>> They're crowding it out. Right. So honeybees honey bees stockpile food.
They're hoarders. They stockpile food in their hives and then the native bees can't access that stuff. So, they effectively gentrify the ecosystem, pushing out the natives. They're colonizers in every sense of the word.
Colonizers and occupiers. They're filthy [ __ ] >> I'm waiting for that. I knew that [laughter] [ __ ] was coming.
>> They're Epstein class [ __ ] guys.
>> Epstein class.
>> Well, this was where it was at.
>> Where the hell are these guys? They're on >> Well, I think they're on the other side.
>> I think they're on the end down here.
>> Oh, >> I see one. Well, we got a lot of holes in this thing. My god, look at this sweetole.
>> Oh yeah, here we go. Big [ __ ] >> Hey, >> I wasn't talking to you.
>> Don't call me that.
>> Right over here, hos. You know, we should get the flashlight.
>> Yeah.
>> Look at that.
>> Watch out. There's barbed wire all over the ground.
>> Look at that. Look at that. Highway from hell.
>> I see it.
>> You want to hand me that and go get a flashlight?
>> Yeah, you bet. You want steel wool, too?
>> You want some steel wool?
>> Yes. Yes. A and um the flashlight is on in the back on top of that case.
>> All right.
>> Of honey by the thing. So here guys, I want to show you before we get the flashlight. So see that big [ __ ] I didn't have the camera facing the other way. You can't fool me, you guys.
Anyway, Killer B Nation. So that's a regular highway from hell right there. I am so thankful to our friends there ranchers who have this ranch for keeping their eyes open. Now, I got to tell you guys, these bees, I got to tell you, these bees almost killed the rancher two years ago. Was it George? Two years ago, maybe it was last year. I don't know. I can't remember. It turns into a blur really quickly. So, these bees stung them up really bad. I mean, it was not good. And then his wife went to help him and of course, she got stung, too. That it's really a problem.
Oh, you want to you want to shine that thing in there? I'm hoping we can show people what it looks like.
>> What do you think? Oh, you got barb wire over here.
>> I almost laid down on it.
>> Oh, don't lay down on the barb wire.
Don't do it, hos. It's fun to play with, isn't it?
>> Well, I am over here doing it.
[laughter] >> That's [ __ ] awesome. Jesus.
>> All right, killer be. Here we go. All right.
>> What does it look like?
>> Push that thing forward.
>> Huh?
>> Nothing.
>> Yeah.
Oh, hell yeah.
>> Are they back in there?
>> Oh, dude.
You got to see that.
>> Is there any way we can show everybody?
>> No, it's not. They're not going to be able to see it.
>> Shiza, >> I mean, we can try, but it it's >> Yeah.
>> Now, >> well, maybe you want to take a capture and shove a camera up its ass.
>> Actually, I will do that.
>> Is it that good?
>> It's uh it's pretty cool. I mean, you know, there's a big old ball.
>> So, this will be on the capture. Have you got that flashlight set so it'll go focus?
>> Yeah.
So, Killer B Nation, >> you guys see that back there?
>> Okay. I'm sorry. You're just gonna have to see the capture on this one. I'm sorry. It's just that good. Can't fit this [ __ ] thing in there.
>> So, there. Sorry. Apologize.
>> Talking about a short while making a short.
>> He's going to making his shorts. I'm wetting my shorts. I'm staining my shorts while he's making a short. Okay.
>> What is going on here? All right. Here you go.
>> You can uh peek in there.
>> Are they lighting up? Yeah. I'll take a look.
>> Well, yeah, a little bit.
>> Killer, be nice. And you got to watch the capture on this one. That's all there is to it.
>> That's all there is to it, gang.
>> That's all there is to it.
>> That's it. Where the hell am I here?
>> Oh, I can't believe it. I'm in game.
Yeah.
>> Holy [ __ ] >> Right.
>> Okay.
>> You see them?
>> Oh, yeah.
>> Oh, boy. Do I >> You know what it reminded me of?
>> What?
>> Remember in uh that movie I Am Legend?
The way the the zombies would like huddle and and like pulse together.
>> Satan.
>> Yeah. It reminded me of that.
>> The zombie huddle. Remember that? The zombie hut. Oh, you know, just movies.
Movies made by pedophiles. What is he talking about?
>> Anything [laughter] Anything beyond Gilligans Island and I'm lost.
>> Yeah. Yeah. After Gilligan Walking Dead, >> it all went downhill after Gilligan's Island. [laughter] >> Now you guys are going to see something really cool. They're going to come pouring out of here in get the hell out of here mode cuz I'm a [ __ ] genius.
All right. I mean, there's a full-on hive in here. It's amazing. Now, what I'm going to see also is where else they're coming out. I can't wait for you guys to see the capture. Sorry about that. just life, you know, and we just Also, I want to tell everybody why we don't use an endoscope. You shove I've done it a thousand times. You shove an endoscope in a hole in here even, immediately it's clogged up with wax and honey, right? Shove it into a hole in drywall in a wall. Immediately clogged up in wax and honey. It's getting loud and proud. [laughter] What is this? High school. No, but they act like it.
All right. Just to prove to you guys I'm not full of [ __ ] I want you to listen to this. Here's your BSMR moment again.
Listen, everyone listen.
>> Wow, that's loud.
>> Hear that [ __ ] you guys?
>> Holy crap. Huh?
>> Very cool.
>> Yeah. Very cool. Very cool. Cuz I said so. All right, so now I'm going to make quick cuz we have to go to Tombstone after this and climb up in an attic. Oh, the joy.
So now we're going to defoam the living [ __ ] out of it. May as well just kill them all in there. Let God sort them out, right?
>> Oh yeah. And when he does, he says, "Oh, look. They were right.
>> They were right. They're all African."
>> That's all he says. When God says you're right.
>> Yeah.
>> God damn. I tell you right now.
>> That's it.
>> Yeah. Praise the Lord.
>> They do genetic testing uh you know at the gates.
>> Praise the Lord cuz I like >> St. Peter does it.
>> That's right. All right. Killer B Nation. Well, now we're just going to do some steel wool and seal the Anybody coming out down the line? H any other holes?
>> Oh, yeah.
>> I'm looking.
>> All right, fine.
>> No. You know what? I think they were new.
>> I think I saw comb.
>> Yeah. No, I think they built comb, but I think they're relatively new.
>> You know, I'm still going from a month ago where Oh, if there's comb, they're not new. [ __ ] Now they're building comb so far.
>> Yeah. Well, if you all saw the live stream earlier, they had built that comb in a week.
>> My god.
>> And probably double their numbers.
>> Unbelievable.
>> I mean, it was huge.
>> So, I'm kind of sealing them up here, guys. Then we're going to go to uh tombstone, right? Uh an old tombstone.
Actually, I think that's all there is is Old Tombstone. And uh it's not like Bisby where it's, you know, you got old Bisby and then you got a bunch of other little towns around. You guys got to come visit this place. Please come on down to Bisby and Tombstone and tell tell them we sent you.
>> Well, yeah. Come on down.
>> High rolling. A lot of high rolling.
>> Come to Bisby and check out the honey store in Bisby. Come to Tombstone and get some honey and tombstone. Yeah.
>> Do both. Do both and get different flavors at each store.
You know, they had this really cool uh ad campaign thing for like Tucson and Phoenix cuz Okay, Bisby is so unique as far as its uh geography and its architecture and [ __ ] and its history.
It had this thing that was like fly to Europe, drive to Bisby. It's pretty cool actually. That's something I would have thought of, you know.
>> I would much rather drive.
>> They didn't confer.
>> And all my whole thing was drive to Europe, fly to Bisby. [laughter] Okay, it's been a long day. Leave me alone. long day and we're just getting started.
>> Well, >> yeah. Well, we do. The attic will be hot. Whatever the skies do in that attic will be hot. But we do have our cooling vests. Thank goodness.
>> Oh, it's going to be miserable and you know it.
>> And the pictures that we saw of the hive. It's a relatively new hive. A lot of white cone.
>> Boy, they brown aggressive though.
>> Yeah. No, they were >> that guy.
>> Well, the new hive will be aggressive. A swarm will be aggressive.
>> I mean, it was a swarm that killed Dan.
>> Yeah. Well, then also that swarms flying and veering off and attacking people.
That's killer bees in Arizona, guys.
>> Unpredictable.
>> That's the That is the straight killer.
Actually, >> that is the deal here on the ground. And anybody that's lived out here for more than two years will tell you about it.
>> They all know.
>> They all know and they all talk about it all the time. [laughter] >> I don't know.
>> Oh, yeah. I don't know.
>> All right. So, the entombing of [snorts] the bastard.
So, I'm going to have Nancy keep an eye on this because, you know, it's always the same case. If you still see activity after like a month, well, they might have found another hole, but I think we got this pretty well.
>> Yeah.
>> Done. I think it's really soon.
>> Well, I think you kashed it with the pesticide.
>> Yeah, that was >> I mean, it got so loud.
>> All right, Killer B Nation, we love you guys. We're going to wrap it up and take you along on our next one. In an attic in Tombstone. Jeez, what a day, huh?
>> Holy [ __ ] >> I'm R. Killer B. Guy. Show everybody the sky. I just got to have you guys look at this [ __ ] This behind you. Watch the clouds.
>> Yeah, it's beautiful. Beautiful day.
>> Horrible what we have to deal with. Look at beautiful day. Nice breeze blowing.
>> Yeah, beautiful.
>> Oh, wow. Guys, hey, thanks for the super chats on on YouTube. Wow.
>> Appreciate you.
>> Yeah, we appreciate I don't know if it was one person or more than one, but yeah, we got a little >> We're sorry we can't see the comments.
>> Some pennies in the piggy bank over there. Thank you so much.
>> Footage.
>> Yeah.
>> All right, we'll see you in a little bit. Kellerby Nation host, do you have a thing to say about three hives and uh on an oasis and St. David?
>> Three hives and Oasis and St. David gang. That's what we're up to today. And you all done just seen us do it. I I don't know >> the hell.
>> Anyway, listen. If you're in Coochis County and you see honey bees coming and going out of a hollow log, coming and going out of an old tire, they're killer bees. Don't mess around. Don't let them build out. Try to nip it in the bud. Pay attention to your property. Pay attention to the hollows and voids on your properties, junk piles, and the minute that you see honeybees coming and going, you let us know because it's easier to handle the situation and less expensive on your end to handle the situation early on. We don't have as much bees. We don't have as much to clean out. But you let these things get established and build out for a year or two. Oh man. And of course, every one of these hives is a time bomb. All right.
And you don't know what's going to set it off. Okay. It's it's just a matter of time. So, you can quarter honeybees, especially not in the Southwest, especially not in Coochis County. Give us a call. We'll come take care of it.
Anywhere else in the US, you need to understand honeybee Africanization is on the rise in all the lower 48 states. You can't trust feral honeybees anymore. And you don't have to. Feral honeybees have nothing to do with your food. They are an environmental blight. Whether they're Africanized, a deadly invasive species, or European, a destructive invasive species, we don't need these bees. Let's save America's native bees. Plant native plants. We'll see you all on the next job.
>> Hey guys, love you. Who's daddy? Little Killer Bee Nation. Who's Who's Daddy?
What the [ __ ] Anyway, >> no, they love that. That helps. Do more of that. Everybody loves you guys. Love you. Killer B Nation reboot. Put this thing off.
