Mandujano masterfully reframes pleasure from a luxury into a biological necessity, grounding the pursuit of joy in the structural reality of the female nervous system. This perspective elevates self-care from a lifestyle choice to a fundamental requirement for physiological resilience.

Your pleasure is the most valuable currency in your life
Added:Hi, YouTube. Welcome back. I'm going to jump right into it. They call it the love hormone. Yes, they reduced it to the love hormone and in doing that, they completely flattened how critical our female pleasure is. It's practically nonexistent in the Western world to consider the value of female pleasure for ourselves.
Meaning not for someone else's gaze, for ourselves. And let me explain what I mean. The clitoris is assumed as just for pleasure. By the way, it was not fully mapped to the extent of the male penis until 2026.
It's not just for pleasure, by the way, and that's incredibly obvious. I mean, hello, it literally wraps around the birth canal, okay? The menstrual cycle is just hormones and you should just get on the birth control pill if you're having issues, right? Oh, and oxytocin is just the love hormone. It's just present between mother and baby, when you're breastfeeding, and if you're cuddling. And that's really all that it does. Absolutely not. That is a total reduction of our female physiology.
Meanwhile, our pleasure is sold back to us in a cheapened version. We were never taught that our menstrual cycle is actually a vital sign. It's an indication of your whole system because in order to produce those healthy sex hormones to have a juicy, pleasurable, smooth, enjoyable bleed and full cycle, your system would need to be living beyond survival mode.
But every time, the same move. Western science, modern society has taken what truly governs, calibrates, and nourishes us and has reduced it to something decorative, shame-worthy, commodifiable, as in sold as a product, and cheapened.
This removes it and detaches it from anything serious that you can leverage for yourself, for your health, your well-being, your life, your vitality, and of course for your own beingness in relationship to pleasure. I myself came to this realization after I was diagnosed with a muscular dystrophy, an autoimmune condition that my doctors told me was absolutely incurable, that I would be bedridden, wheelchair bound within a matter of 1 to 2 years for the rest of my life. And of course, they didn't consider that I had no period as an indicator of the state of my nervous system. They didn't consider that the state of my nervous system contributed to that condition at all. All they told me was that it was that it was genetic, and it was lifelong, and it was definitely incurable. It was neither of those things, clearly. I have cleared that and entered into a life that I never thought was possible because I intentionally connected to my pleasure.
So, when I talk about nervous system work for the female nervous system, I want you to know, baby, this is not just all theory and clinical studies. I started from the bottom of the barrel. 2 in below the gutter is where I'm coming from. That place is how I know what I know.
And of course, I've also gone on to pursue my doctorate to beef it up a little bit. So, this is what oxytocin actually is for your system. It's the molecule your entire nervous system relies on. That doesn't mean it's the master regulator. I think that language is a little tired. I myself used to use that, but really it's lacking nuance, baby. So, let's come a little bit closer to really understand this cyclical nature of our female form. Oxytocin is not a mood booster. It is not a feel-good momentary experience. It is the infrastructure of your system. Every major axis in your body, meaning where two systems or organs are communicating, relies on oxytocin. Your stress response, your HPA axis, oxytocin buffers cortisol, your reproductive hormones, your HPO axis, how your brain is communicating to your ovaries, which are a part of your sympathetic nervous system, oxytocin is working upstream to permit the healthy production of estrogen and progesterone. Progesterone is known as the beauty hormone, by the way. Your thyroid, your blood sugar, which also works closely with cortisol.
So, a system that is living in fight or flight survival states is going to have these blood sugar spikes, is likely going to have some issues with her menstrual cycle, and there's many different variants, or her vulva, or her womb position. And all of this intersects through her relationship to oxytocin. And of course, Western medicine is not making these connections. It compartmentalizes our body as if we are a machine. And that digs back to Europe, honestly, and the professionalization of science.
That's how far back this belief system goes, and we're still living in it.
We're still trapped in it. So, we need to really see our bodies through our own eyes, not the lens that has been projected onto us. This is something that was published in a peer-review journal, and yet it has not made it into the mainstream conversation about our bodies and women's health. So, so listen to this closely. Your skin is the largest organ of your body. Yeah? It also has dedicated fibers that are called C tactile and they exist for one purpose, slow intentional touch.
Researchers have found that these fibers fire most at a specific speed. It is not the speed of forcing towards some outcome. It is not the speed of the lack of consent. It is not the speed of being distracted in multitasking. It is the speed of 1 to 10 cm per second.
Let's let's like really look at that. Do you understand? That kind of touch is what your body is yearning for. You have specific fibers designed for that touch.
These fibers go directly to the part of your brain that processes positive emotion, the anterior insular cortex.
You have a biological infrastructure in your skin, the largest organ that you can come in contact with daily, specifically designed to receive pleasure. Let that sink in. This is not a metaphor. I'm not speaking in metaphors. I'm speaking about how women have become disconnected from their own pleasure and we know why. Okay, I'm not here to talk about why. My mentors always tell me, "Don't tell me why. Show me the problem. Show me what I don't see." So, I'm going to listen to him.
And what I mean by this is that your pleasure is not a luxury, not to your body. To your body, it is structural. It is as real as the roots to a tree.
Everything depends on it. One of the leading oxytocin researchers found that repeated oxytocin stimulation done over 5 days produces a anti-stress effects that lasts for weeks after those sessions. Weeks. Blood pressure lowers, cortisol spikes lower, the nervous system is nourished. The nervous system has truly received a signal that not only is it safe to slowly come out of survival mode, but in doing so, other things take priority like healing, detoxification, rest, repair, etc. 5 days. The effects lasted weeks. Imagine if you had a practice that worked with your female nervous system intentionally, built a strong foundation, and worked with your womb continuum. So, I'm talking about are you menstrual? Are you luteal? Are you follicular? Are you ovulating? Are you menopausal? Are you pregnant? Are you postpartum? These are all and more, right? These are all potent portals for us to leverage the unique neuro-psycho-physiology that is happening in that moment, and it's not by accident. And guess what supports every single one of these incredible transitions? Oxytocin. Your pleasure. Your slow, embodied pleasure.
A woman who knows how to produce her own oxytocin and is in relationship to her pleasure, like it's not a game to her, she understands it and she embodies how this work is crucial, is a woman that is living beyond survival mode. And a woman that is living beyond survival mode cannot be sold a cheapened version of what it means to live in this female form, what it means to feel worthy, to trust herself, to hold her boundaries, and to believe that her dreams are not in question, they're just a matter of time. When your capacity, your tolerance for pleasure, your baseline of oxytocin is genuinely high, you're genuinely nourished by it, your standards will change, the way you experience and approach your boundaries will change, and what you desire out of life, and what you see possible will change as a consequence. Because now you're living in a system that is beyond survival mode. And we deserve that. The PMS, the PMDD, the PMOS, the endometriosis, the misaligned uterus, the prediabetes, the BPD, the ADHD, the autoimmune conditions, these are not normal, and this is not who you are. This is your body responding to living in a world where our relationship to pleasure has been absolutely cheapened and sold back to us as a product. And I'm here to initiate those who are willing into the path of leveraging it for you. Through your own two hands, your own breath, your own focused awareness, and it can start in as little as a 20-minute practice that is yours once a week. Like, girl, that's that's all. You can start there, and you can slowly move up, but I'm telling you, this work is so much deeper than any supplement, any other manual practitioner that can come work on your body, because your body responds to your hands in a unique way. All of that being said, I believe that female embodied female pleasure is the most valuable currency in a woman's life. Currency meaning it has exchange value. You know that it touches every aspect of your life because a nourished nervous system that has a high nervous system capacity trumps everything else, everything.
Because it means you have the capacity in your body and the room for what you desire. This is not self-care. I love self-care. I'm not against it, okay? But this is so much deeper than the superficial layer that self-care touches. And if you're interested in this work, I'm really excited. I have a short and sweet and intimate three-day live experience happening on Zoom. It's a course on my private platform. It's called embody female pleasure. It's opening June 26th, 6 26 26. And I really hope to see you there. It's a intimate space, so spots are limited. If you can't make it live, you will have the recording. We will have three days theory, practice, and Q&A. And I'm excited. I don't want to walk on eggshells anymore. I don't care about the taboo. I believe that this is what women are yearning for and what we deserve. And I'm excited to hold this space for you and to connect with you in an intimate, deeper, slow down, more directed way where we can actually get into a really nourishing practice together.
And then we can talk the day after and talk about what this means. How do we see ourselves and our lives from here?
That's all for now. There will be two videos in the series, so stay tuned for the next video. Like and subscribe. My mom said I didn't say that, so like and subscribe. Hi mom. I love you. And I'll see you soon.
