The first word is klaio. It means loud, ugly, body-shaking sobbing. Like when Mary and the crowd were wailing at Lazarus's tomb. That's the word John used for them. The second word is dakruo. It means to silently shed tears.

He was standing there knowing he was going to fix it in the next 5 minutes. And he still let himself feel it. That's not weakness. That's the most powerful thing I've ever heard. The God of the universe, who knew the outcome, still paused to let one tear fall. Because your pain matters to him. Not just the solution, the pain itself.
