[00:00:00]And still talking party politics, a group of protesters within the All Progressives Congress has called on the party's national and state leadership to officially recognize Rotimi Akeredolu as the APC candidate for the Baden Southwest and Northwest Federal Constituency ahead of the forthcoming general election.

[00:00:17]The aggrieved party members insist that Mr. Akeredolu emerged winner through what they described as a transparent and credible primary process and enjoys massive support among party faithful in the constituency. They alleged that despite being declared winner of the primary election, his name was later replaced on the list released after the exercise.

[00:00:50]We are party member that we've been paying our dues. We've been doing well.

[00:00:54]We are supporting with the party program to the extent that we had a press conference to show the world that we voluntarily dropped out for honorable Akeredolu.

[00:01:07]Now, having having done that, suddenly, we were told our person, that is Rotimi Akeredolu, has been substituted.
