[00:00:24]With the national debt now over $39 trillion and  annual deficits projected near $2 trillion, Republicans are pushing for major  spending cuts while Democrats are resisting deep reductions to programs  like DHS, education, and social services.

[00:00:43]Here's my take as a young conservative.  This constant cycle of shutdown threats and trillion-dollar spending sprees is completely  irresponsible. We cannot keep kicking the can down the road with massive deficits and $39 trillion  in debt. This money is borrowed against the future and young people like me will be stuck paying for  it. Government shutdowns are messy, but endless spending without accountability is worse. We need  real fiscal responsibility: cut wasteful programs, reduce bureaucracy, reform entitlements,  and stop funding things that don't serve the American people.
