This NEW TEAM got *2ND PLACE* in a MASSIVE Pokemon Champions Tournament...

So, I've got a really interesting team here that actually came second place in the Lightning Strike tournament, which I believe is a pretty big tournament over in Japan. I managed to come across this team on Twitter. So, shout out to Snowhorn is their name on this site. So, that's what we're going to go with. And this is a really interesting team. So, we've got a FLET set with stored power, which is really, really interesting. Not a set I really see very often without an Aspathra. We've also got a King Gambit with 88 speed. I'm not really too sure what the speed is for. a focus/ lead guard shop with rocks, scale shot, rock tomb, earthquake. Pretty standard stuff.

[00:00:34]Max HP, max attack, max speed. We've got a max HP, max attack, adamant sizzle with swords, three attack. That looks like a really cool set. And we've got a Vcarona here, a Vuly a bulky Varona. Got there eventually. Um, this is a set I'm very familiar with, of course, and a Basil Legion, who I used in yesterday's video. So, this team came second place in the tournament. The team that won it is also here. So, I'm at I'm very tempted to use that as well. It's got Hippo, Charizard, Empolon. Looks really cool. So, if you guys want to see me use the number one team, let me know down below. And without further ado, we're going to give this team a try. Second place in the tournament is nothing to scoff at. I've got a train up, but not too expensive. Um, as again, here is all the stats and I showed the rental code prior. Um, here's all the stats if you want to copy it for yourself. And yeah, I'm going to train these up and let's see just how good the team can be. So yeah, we're at 1954 and we we never go above it. We always like get super close but never actually do. So hopefully this team if you came second place at a tournament surely I should be able to get into the 2000s. That is like where the bar is at the moment. Uh they've also included I'll link it below but there's like an article with a lot of interesting insights into the team and they say into Kangaskhan what to lead into. It has a it basically gives you a rundown on what you should be bringing into certain matchups. I am really scared of Charizard to be honest. I love the idea of keeping a Garchomp around for that reason, but I kind of want to just lead Garchomp to be honest. I'm a little bit concerned about Umbreon with um like Yawn spam. That feels pretty strong into this team. Maybe I just bring Scizor and like close combat it.

[00:02:06]Scizor's really good outside of the Coronite. So maybe I bring like Vcaruna for the Corvite. Vcarona looks really solid in this team in general to be fair. Max HP, max fizz death wools out a lot of the really annoying mons on the team and just like whittleles them down.

[00:02:20]It's just if like then I'm pretty weak to dude. How do you beat like the yawn loop and stuff with this? We're going to have to find out. We're going to just lead sas jump and go from there. Yeah, very scary team on my opponent's part.

[00:02:33]Zard. Beautiful. So, we have a rock move here. Providing we land, it should oo, right? And if not, then we are sash. So, it's like more than good. I always just go for rock tomb here. Like that is the reason. Okay. So, they're they're wise to my tricks, so it seems. And Corvinite does come in. That's not a problem. Um, what did we bring for the Corvite?

[00:02:52]Primarina. That's fine. Uh, I'm going to get rocks up here just to pressure the Charizard. Bring him in at 50%. Lovely crit on the Corby there. Um, does not mean anything quite frankly. Um, but yeah, I go for stealth rocks here and and that just sort of like cripples the Charizard upon switching in. Probably puts it in range of plus two bullet punch from Sizz. Um, if it even comes down to that. So, they U-turn. Okay.

[00:03:39]So, we've absolutely made the right click here. Providing we land, which we do, cuz now it's a speed sight. If we don't Okay. Well, if we don't KO, we we certainly don't. We only get two hits.

[00:03:49]Um, but if they're adamant, then we do outspeed, I believe. So, that's really worked out quite nicely for us. Going to click scale shot again here. No, dude. I I won the speed tie.

I think that's probably the play. Yeah, let me go sizzle first and just SD up cuz I imagine plus two bullet punch KOs this and then we also have close combat to deal with Corvite.

[00:04:34]Sizzle's physical bulk becomes ridiculous when it mega evolves. By the way, it like actually gets ridiculous how strong this mon is. So, I'm kind of hoping they just swap out here. They do.

[00:04:44]Okay, they go out to Charizard. Dude, I plus two bullet punch KO. I I feel like it might Wait, they should take rocks, right? And go down to 50%.

[00:04:55]Um I I need to check quite frankly. I need to check if plus two sizzle Adamant KOs. I need to see it, man. I need to see it. Plus two Adaman Charizard bullet punch 49 to 57. Apparently 49 to 57. I literally have to go for it. I don't have another play. So, they are going to mega revolve. That's assuming that they are not bulk invested. But I think that's a role that's very much so in my favor. And if this KO's, we sort of Well, we absolutely win. Like, no doubt about it. Drought goes up. Come on, Bullet Punch. KO.

That's why we went for the SD. you know, now I I mean I think Scizor wins because the Corv is going to take rocks damage and we have close combat to hit it which is going to hurt a lot. Um and then we have Vcaruna in the back and and Vcaruna Gacho can't lock into something to beat Scizor that can't beat Vcaruna. So I think Mega Scizor picks up the win for us here in what was a really good battle. Scizor is a mega that is just so consistent. Looks like they ended. Yep. Beautiful. That's a nice nice win for the first battle.

[00:06:02]Yeah, sizzle every time I've used it has been really solid. Um, it's just a case where it's like Gengar in my opinion where it's so good that I don't want to just spam it cuz it will get boring for you guys. So, um, yeah, I'm going to get another battle here. Okay, maybe hippo lead. That'd be a little bit annoying for us, wouldn't it? Telling could also be a glim lead as well. We don't have a T-spike absorber according to this into a Dragonite based team. I should bring Garchomp, Vularona, and Sizzle or Flet according to the article. I think Sizzle's probably a little bit better because there is a glimora that threatens flow. Okay, so I'm going to lead uh Sash Chomp. I think that's fine.

[00:06:41]I get my rocks up, etc. Um I'm no, you know what? I'm actually going to lead Basil Legion. I think it leads really well here, quite frankly. I'm going to bring Scizor. The T-spikes going up is going to be annoying if they decide to bring the King Gambit. I'll bring Sash Chomp as well. Let's bring these three.

I know that I've just absolutely completely ignored what the creator said to bring because they said to bring a vulcarona but I actually prefer the mons I've brought to deal with dragonite if that makes sense because we're sash so even if they want a draco or ice beam garchomp shrugs it off and scale shots it back and puts it in range of bullet punch from sizzle so I like this matchup and we've also got scarf last respect in the back which is as we learned last time no slouch is certainly no slouch so they're just teetering on 2000s and They leave me out scarada. I I'm going to be honest.

Okay. Yeah, they give us me out. Beautiful. So, Basky Legion's biggest OP is down. We do need to worry about their Basil Legion, of course. Do they go Dragonite Flea? Okay, interesting choice. I mean, I always bullet punch this. This can't KO me.

It's a good job by the way that I didn't bring the uh Varona here.

Okay, we'll bullet punch this though. Always always got to bullet punch this. Uh just to break multis scale potentially. Yep, that is absolutely multis scale. And it's physical dragonite. Okay, but we are sashop remember. And we do have the basil legion which is faster too. I go bullet punch again.

Flet does look really good into this team.

And also Flet kind of loses to my team's pretty weak into Charizard if I bring these ones though. Do I bring the Sash Jump? I'm a bit concerned about Aegis Slash. Actually, no. Varuna beats Ais Slash. I'll bring Sash jump then. Do I lead Sash jump? No, I can't cuz the Okay, sorry. I'm getting confused with my own things like I I forgot. So yeah, I imagine they bring Kang and if they don't it's fine. I like leading Scarfish cuz we got a free flip turn out on anything. Yeah, I I think it's okay.

So, we're going to see a a mega banette here and also potentially a mega holucha. Um, I like the look of flet. I love the look of fet actually. I'm a bit scared of um the little funny bird that burns you.
