And the last episode ended with a post-credit scene where Levi is alive by a thread, but he's alive, and that is the most important thing. [00:04:04]It's a It's so understandable even though this makes no logical sense, you know, to to do this. It's like you know, reaching for a sense of normalcy just to have his mom back even though he knows deep down it's not going to be like that, you know, but It's grim.

[00:07:45]The desperation is It took a while to get there, but we got there. Thank god.

[00:11:27]Oh my god. Thank god. I thought we lost him.

[00:12:08]They were all Bro, they all deserve awards. Like what the actual [ __ ] I'm going to [ __ ] Oh my god, that was [ __ ] crazy.

[00:12:28]That was [ __ ] crazy.

[00:12:33]When did this happen?

[00:12:36]Huh?

[00:12:41]No.

[00:12:53]He's a good boy.

[00:13:03]Woah.

[00:13:08]>> [gasps] >> Oh my god, this is crazy.

[00:13:20]Imagine waking up from a nap to this.

[00:13:23]Bro.

[00:13:30]>> My babies.

[00:13:31]>> I don't know why I doubted Jean because that was like Aw, of course they had a They all deserve [ __ ] Academy Awards cuz they keep getting me. Like all of They keep getting me in the first half. It's crazy. Okay, so there's two things that I need to talk about from this episode that I took away from this. One is Jean and how they um alluded to his very first goal of wanting to be in the military police so he could have like an easy life, right?

[00:14:02]>> [snorts] >> And Onyankopon at the end saying that he could have had everything that he wanted had he just, you know, stayed with the Yeagerists. And that shows Jean's growth. Like to be able to stand there and do what he did and trick them like that and go against what he had initially wanted to grow into this very brave [ __ ] soldier who is just always making the right but difficult decisions.

[00:14:35]The character growth is so beautiful and I love that they tied that in there because it it made it more, you know, it it reminded us like, "Remember where Jean started? Like wanting to be nothing but comfortable and now look at him."

[00:14:50]He's choosing the most difficult path, but he's choosing the right one.

[00:14:55]Honestly, amazing.

[00:14:58]The other thing is that I was um now that I'm thinking on it, reflecting on this episode, um when Armin was going to sacrifice himself um into feeding himself to Connie's mom. I don't think that his plan was to actually be like, "Okay, I don't think that I should have been brought back. I think that I should give the Colossal Titan to someone else.

[00:15:27]Connie's mom is the best choice because he wants her to be alive. I can get out of this. I don't think that that's what he was thinking. I think the reason that we saw a flash of Erwin there was because Erwin always took risks to achieve what he needed to achieve. And I think that Armin knew by sacrificing himself someone closer to Connie than Falco is to Connie, one of his best friends. If he had sacrificed himself, if Connie had seen that, he would have realized how wrong this is. And that's what Armin was doing. He wasn't necessarily like giving up. Like yes, that could have happened, but I know that he had enough faith in Connie that he knew that that wasn't going to happen. And it was still a gamble because he was literally jumping into a Titan's mouth. But um I think that's why he thought of Erwin, not because like, "Oh, I can't match up to him. You know, like I'm thinking of Erwin because I'm not him and like I just need to sacrifice my life." Like I think he was thinking of him because it was like, "I need to take a gamble like he always did." You know, it was always mentioned how Erwin took gambles and risks. You know, Levi always said that.

[00:16:41]And I think that's what he was doing there. It's to like really show Connie, "Look what you are doing here with this child.

[00:16:49]I'm going to show you by putting it in your face, me instead." And that made everything click with Connie. Like I knew he would come to that realization of this isn't what his mom would have wanted. And all of this would have been so uncomfortable and horrible for her.

[00:17:07]I thought he would have got there on his own, but I think it makes so much sense that, you know, Armin doing what he did, taking that risk, it made a lot of sense that that's how he came to it, you know?

[00:17:17]Um and then for him going from, you know, obviously about to risk a child's life to at the end saying save the world and the squad looking like a squad like amazing. Amazing.

[00:17:32]Amazing. We really don't have very many episodes left. I think we have like we have four normal episodes and then we have the two really long episodes. And then it's over, which is crazy. I can't even predict what the [ __ ] is going to happen in this last stretch. Like I'm I'm afraid. I'm excited to see what happens, but I live in fear of Attack on Titan, always.
