In interactive narrative games like Dark Pictures: Directive 8020, player decisions create branching storylines where choices made early in the game can have significant consequences later, demonstrating how interactive media uses decision-making mechanics to create emotional engagement and narrative tension.

JEV PLAYS DIRECTIVE 8020Added:
All right. What's going on, guys? It's Jeff, and we are here with a brand new Dark Pictures game. This one is called Directive 8020. If you don't know about the Dark Pictures games, these games are considered quote movie games where there's a lot less interaction.
Basically, the entire premise of the game really is to make decisions and then see what comes of those decisions.
Sometimes you can make a decision in the story that affects multiple hours later.
You could make enemies with somebody that you should have been friends with at a certain point in the story and that gets your character killed or happens to save them. There's a lot of trickery and red herrings and other stuff like that that they play around with. Generally though, these games aren't really considered horror masterpieces or anything given Until Dawn is definitely a cult classic. But I've played every single game since Until Dawn, all of the Dark Pictures games, including their uh Dead by Daylight collab story, the casting of Frank Stone. My usual goal is to try to save everybody, but that doesn't necessarily mean I'm going to save everybody. I'll try my best. So, if you guys enjoy these horror series and face cam and stuff, leave a like, thumbs up on this video, leave a comment, and also, if you're new here, subscribe. I upload a whole bunch of different games and I've been doing it for a long time.
So, there's an explore mode and a survivor mode. I think survivor mode is more classic than anything. You have to actually live with your decisions or die. They introduce this thing called turning points where I guess you can go back and like see everything that could have happened, which is pretty cool, but for my first playthrough, I want to deal with all consequences. That is the funnest way to enjoy the story in my opinion. And then you could go back and figure everything else out.
>> My name is Laura Eley, second in command of the starship Cassiopia.
With Earth dying, we looked to the stars for a new home.
Only one held promise. Ta F. Our objective, survey the planet from orbit to prepare for the arrival of our sister ship, the colony vessel Andromeda.
Humanity's future depended on us.
>> Very generic setup so far, which is fine because this whole thing has a heavy influence from The Thing. And The Thing is one of my favorite horror movies, including the remake. I didn't mind the remake either. Super Massive Games.
My paranoia is pretty bad, too. So, I imagine I'm not going to make the best decisions. That said, again, like I was saying, there's a whole lot of red herrings and like misdirection and stuff. So really at the end of the day, we're guessing. Thomas Carter, sleep technician out of Canada. Got his little bonsai tree.
>> Uh, >> Carter, >> are you not remotely alarmed?
>> Not yet. Are you?
>> It sounded like a hull impact.
>> I mean, if I heard anything outside of the ship, I would Are those magnets?
>> Chances are pretty low.
>> How are they walking?
>> But not zero.
>> Got to be gravity shoes, not magnet shoes.
>> Buck says it's another Java Bean incident.
>> That was one time.
>> One time you are never going to live down.
>> Breach detected. Deck two.
>> That's not good.
>> Complex.
>> Port side. This deck. The whole area has been locked down and sealed.
>> Should we wait the others?
>> We're only 72 hours from orbit. Let's stick to procedure and take a look ourselves.
>> Should we consult the Oracle?
>> The Oracle. So, we either go and ask the computer or do it ourselves.
>> Uh, let's do it ourselves.
>> Quicker to fix it ourselves. If this is as serious as it sounds, we need to get down there now.
>> Can't argue with that.
Okay, >> lead the way.
>> Turning point already. I made one decision. Dude, their legs got to be [ __ ] Didn't those other people that recently went around the moon have like they're like super weak coming back? Got to do like physical therapy. They weren't even out there that long. Wake up day, arrival at Taetti F. Return home. Okay, seems simple enough. So, we make it there. Don't stay too long. It just takes a really long time to get here. Like, what are the odds that something even impacts your ship in the middle of infinite space? Dude, >> we're doing the right thing, right? This is why we have emergency procedures.
>> Yep.
>> We'll be fine. Best to act quickly in these situations.
>> Oh, yeah. Let the tortoise in the hair.
Remind me who won that race again.
>> It's a madeup story. Assembled at the satellite rig. Crew board and enter hypersleep. Oh, okay. They got the whole four-year journey to Tal City F. Sister vessel Andromeda follows behind. Do we know that they're right behind us? Can we see them or no? Planetary survey. 6 months later, Andromeda lands and begins colonization efforts. Oh, okay. 6 months later. So, they definitely don't see us.
>> Okay. The small crap you can move by.
>> But something's gravity is not.
>> Oh, cool. I found like a or a collectible or whatever.
Lockdown lifted. Okay.
>> Lock down lifted.
King to C1.
>> Okay.
>> Knight to E2. Check.
>> King to B1.
>> Knight follows. Check.
>> Humanity first. Well, it definitely ain't looking good in there.
>> The damage must be shorting the ship's electronics.
Should we fix it?
>> We need to inspect the hull damage first.
>> Here, help me open it.
>> The lights are out.
I hadn't noticed.
>> Must have been a power surge.
>> Your new world is waiting. The >> whole area is on lockdown. We're not getting through here.
>> Convenient.
>> Yeah.
>> The lockdown should be hardwired to a nearby terminal. Open your scanner. See what comes up.
Can you see the live wire?
>> I can. Is there not a sprint button or anything? Question. Can you even run with these gravity shoes or can you only walk?
All right.
This looks like some [ __ ] I could definitely go into. Can't right now, though.
>> What the [ __ ] >> What do you see?
A butterfly.
>> Beauty.
>> What about this?
>> A secret handshake.
>> A bug.
>> A fortress.
>> A tree.
>> This.
>> Okay, that's obviously >> I don't know.
>> I see potential.
>> Hello.
>> Looks like it penetrated through there.
>> Oh, it actually did hit. Okay.
Oh, look. It's us.
>> Find the hole breach. Okay, this is it, right?
Oh, it's not the hole. Hold on. There it is. The hole in the hole of the ship.
>> Looks like the breach wiping hasn't fired.
>> Figures.
>> Breach wiping.
>> We've got to repair that breach. Looks like the only way to override the sealant system now is from outside the hull.
>> Uh, are we the only two on this ship?
>> Not really in the mood for >> There's no way they're going to only send two people there.
>> But what Stafford say?
>> Never forget where you started.
>> Where'd you go?
>> Looks good to me.
Optical terminal is intact.
Transmission speed is dipped, but should course correct soon.
Want to run some diagnostics just to be sure.
>> Let me just check the message logs.
>> What you're doing is I know you had second thoughts, but it's the right thing. The future is all that matters to us now. The future with you.
>> Me personally, I wouldn't have done this [ __ ] >> Among the stars.
>> Good luck, daddy.
Good luck. How many times have you watched that one?
>> How long ago was that?
>> I lost count last Christmas.
>> We're expecting a new batch in a few days when the rest of the crew wakes up.
>> Like, surely they could just send somebody else, right? I don't got to go.
>> We're nearly there, >> dude. I'm getting vertigo. This is crazy.
>> Holy [ __ ] >> What a mess.
>> Understatement of the year.
>> We ain't fixing this [ __ ] >> What is that?
Coolant maybe.
>> Could have leaked during the impact.
>> I don't know. It looks a little tissuey to me.
>> The override ports are right there.
>> This is not cooling, dude. Yeah.
>> Straight up tissue.
And it's moving like Majin Buu. Like it just dropped a little piece of itself to go and possess somebody or some [ __ ] The [ __ ] >> Sealed the whole >> I did the job.
>> Can we go home now?
>> Agreed. Back to the airlock.
>> If you wanted to be at home so bad, I suggest not flying into [ __ ] space.
>> Live in the moment like me. Each day, one step at a time.
>> You always find a way to see the bright side.
Mom taught me that you can't always control what happens, but you can control how you react to it. I can control the muscles in my face, so I use them to smile.
>> Yeah. Now, what happens once an alien enters your brain stem and then starts making it so you smile?
>> The past guides us to the future. But what really matters most is us right here, right now. Fixing this ship and making history.
>> Loving this energy, Carter.
When everyone's up, you think they'll relegate coffee making >> G2. Okay.
>> Knowing >> I mean, there's got to be an ending somewhere. Everyone's got a destiny.
>> Those guys close their eyes for a night's sleep and they wake up refreshed like these four years meant nothing.
>> God, I'm older than Cernin now.
>> You know, he once told me to >> What the [ __ ] just happened?
>> Help. Carter, help me. Use your thruster now.
This >> [ __ ] is like uh that movie Gravity.
>> Sims hit it.
>> Hey, what?
>> Oh [ __ ] Okay.
>> What if you just let her go and she flies off into space forever? I was doing it slow cuz a part of me was like kind of want to let her go. I'm not going to lie.
>> Should we tell Earth?
>> We can handle this.
>> Well, should we at least wait, Cernin?
We stick to protocol.
>> Run diagnostics first, then we can decide what to do after that.
>> So there are other people to wake up.
>> Hear me out. Remember when I was reading fracture and repair and then with that chapter on >> Kinsugi? Oh yes, I remember it.
>> Right. Why not apply it here? Take what's broken and honor its faults.
Highlight them even.
>> That's wonderful. Except I'm pretty sure Kinugi is for pottery, not plants.
You can still apply the mindset celebr uh is the game ever going to show me how to sprint or is there no sprint? Oh, L1 is sprint. I didn't even know I could do this.
Sims, is that you?
>> What the [ __ ] >> Okay, Sims, that is not funny. I don't appreciate the joke.
>> Sims.
>> Sims.
>> Hey. Um, you okay?
>> Sims, are are you okay?
You can talk to me.
I know it's been tough for you out here, but I thought you were past this.
>> She seemed fine. Talking about some being in the present and [ __ ] >> I'm I'm here for you.
>> Probably took a lot of pain to get there.
>> Uh, she's definitely not okay.
>> Never forget why.
Just going to go wake Dr. Cooper.
>> Okay, let's just start. She has a [ __ ] taser thing. I have no idea how close she is behind me.
Oh, she's not that close. Okay.
I thought she was right behind my [ __ ] I hate running when I hear them behind me. Dude, I can't. Getting hawkked down has to be the scariest [ __ ] possible.
[ __ ] How do you even do that? You can climb up there.
>> What the [ __ ] Don't move.
>> It's hard to let go. Earth is the only home we've known.
>> But the truth is, our home is dying.
>> I don't want to hurt you.
>> It's better.
>> Corinth, >> I'm scared.
>> Where humanity >> I'm scared first.
She's just watching the screen.
Oh [ __ ] My mom is dead.
Everyone is dead.
I forgot all.
I forgot everything.
Arthur, I'm scared.
My mom is dead.
Everyone is dead.
>> Everyone dies, dude. Calm down. I'm out of here.
Get in there.
Oh [ __ ] >> Systems reboot initiated. Please stand by.
>> [ __ ] [ __ ] >> Open. Open. Open up a door jam.
>> Consequence. What did I do wrong? Was I supposed to ask Nor?
>> Oh my god.
>> Maybe that was it.
>> This is Thomas Carter, 48 hours from flight crew. Wake up. Something's wrong with Sims. I I don't know. She She attacked me. Oh, God. She's trying to kill me.
We were repairing an impact to the hull.
We separated to repair different areas of the ship, but then >> the Oracle over.
>> I mean, the game wants us to assume that she's an alien, right? What if she isn't, though?
>> It's only when we come face to face with death that we get her answer.
However connected the universe may be, >> they didn't see this pulsating shunt at the bottom.
>> Episode one. Not too much crazy [ __ ] happening, but good setup. End of episode one. It's nice that they have this here. Good clean spots to like start and stop at. I'll do another episode. Do like two or three episodes uh a thing for the intro one. Might just do two of them. We'll see. Two days before launch. So this was years back.
in loving memory of Bill.
Rihanna Young.
>> I wasn't sure you'd be here.
>> I wouldn't miss it for the world.
Sometimes you look just like him. You know >> that's called genetics.
>> No, it's more than that.
It's the way you carry yourself.
>> Energy >> as a confidence. Four years.
>> It still doesn't feel real sometimes.
Dad was always gone for years on a mission. I'm almost waiting for him to walk back through the door.
>> Every time I say your name, I'm taking right back to those first missions with him.
>> Oh, I'm sorry.
>> So, her dad did the missions before and what? He never came back 4 years ago or so. It's been like 8 years then. No, assuming that this person is on the ship anyway, except before launch. So, I imagine she'll be there. Might be a bit darker than that cuz we have no idea how that guy ended up. Present day pod room.
Four years after the launch. Okay, so got it. Boom.
>> BP20 over 70.
Heart rate 72.
>> Temperature 97.2. He's fully conscious.
>> Good morning. Y.
>> Thank you.
>> Miss Katherine Sims. Shouldn't they be here?
>> Well, that is standard procedure, >> but this isn't a standard situation.
>> Sims, >> what's wrong?
>> You read?
>> Stafford and I were woken up automatically by the ship.
>> He's trying to reach the sleep technicians now.
>> Sims.
>> So, wake up on me.
>> So, Carter and Sims were the sleep texts. Right. Right. Right. Uh, no time to joke right now.
>> What's going on, Eley?
>> We're reading multiple system crashes.
I've been trying to establish way.
>> How do we have any strength to move at all? I feel like we should have like Oh, [ __ ] No. No way you can just stand on your two feet after just sitting there for 4 years.
>> If our survey is successful, the Andromeda will land on Taetti F and begin the new chapter of civilization.
The future starts now with Corinth.
>> Is there a reason why he's reading it like a prompt? Is it purposeful or >> legend?
>> Simple pleasures, huh?
>> Is that a smoke grenade? Coffee. Carter Sims, do you read?
>> Try that.
>> This is Commander Stafford.
>> Where the hell are you two?
>> I read you, sir. We're in engineering.
The ship suffered a minor hull breach, so we're running diagnostics and making the necessary repairs as per protocol.
>> How bad are we talking?
>> We're still running diagnostics. Once we're done, we will provide a full damage report.
>> Gut feeling.
>> Manageable. Looks like we were lucky.
>> We're cooked.
>> Anything we need to jump on?
>> We're trying to establish that now.
>> Our orbital window is in 1 hour. Have you made engine preparations?
No, sir. The damage from the whole breach took priority.
>> Understood. We'll prep the engines ourselves.
>> Apologies. We weren't there to wake you.
>> Yeah, she's just sitting there tweaking in the dark somewhere just feeding them the wrong >> confirm how many of you are awake.
>> Just the four flight crew.
We'll wake the others in orbit as planned.
>> They haven't found the message from Carter.
Is she hiding in vents and [ __ ] >> Let's go check on Mitchell.
>> Ry and Shine, sleeping moody.
>> And to what do I owe the honor of this royal welcome?
>> There's been a hole breach. Carter and Sims are looking into it. It would explain why our oxygen processing is down.
>> That sounds bad.
>> It's under control, but we're only an hour from the marker. Young Eley, begin engine checks in preparation for orbit.
I'll take Mitchell and we'll reboot the CO2 scrubbers.
>> How about I save some oxygen and go back to sleep?
>> Come on.
>> Real [ __ ] What do you need me for, dude?
>> Do we all have cool hoodies like that?
Why did she get one?
>> It's a real shame we lost Magnamera.
>> A damn tragedy.
>> What's your take on Anders? Bit of a late replacement, huh?
You trust her?
>> Uh, yeah. No reason not to.
>> I trust the current recruitment process.
>> Turning point. A >> Mcnamar was the best. Anders is a close second, especially given Cooper's seal of approval.
>> Sure, I guess so.
>> Eley, we're almost at hydroponics. Head over when you're done.
Okay, remind me why we're here.
>> Because the technicians didn't do their jobs.
>> We'll need to >> Okay, excuse me. I tried. You guys could not have dealt with this.
>> I've never flown something with a reactor this size.
>> You aren't worried it might pop.
>> They get more unstable the bigger they are, don't they?
>> Don't be sensational. It's >> dark as hell in hydro. Plants are casting shadows. Swear one move. I can send a message to everyone. Carter.
He's online.
>> Nothing at all from Carter, but Sims started typing and then didn't. Okay.
>> The Oracle is suggesting we redirect power from the landing systems.
>> Just as well, considering we're not landing. Alternatively, >> redirect power from fire control.
Uh, we'll go with what the oracle says.
Uh, initially we didn't do anything with the oracle, but that was just cuz it felt like, you know, something we could go and fix.
Let's do what the oracle says here. Path chosen. [ __ ] I don't know if going with or against the oracle is a good thing.
But if we know anything about these like ultra AI ship things that are talking to you, they always try to make them like evil or some [ __ ] or like cold calculating and they'll like sacrifice the humans and [ __ ] There >> we're ready for orbit. Okay, >> excellent.
>> Is it okay?
>> Good work, Eisley.
>> What did the pilot say when he walked into the bar?
>> Um, I don't know. What did the >> Given the circumstances, I'd say they're both performing well.
>> Aren't they just That tree was a neat addition.
>> Yeah, this is >> good to have a reminder of home.
>> Actually, it measurably reduces the load on our oxygen scrubbers.
Plus, its canopy serves as an effective dust filter.
But yes, I had a hawthornne just like it in my garden back at home. It's actually a cutting.
>> A little piece of you.
>> I'm glad you're with us, Eisley. This ship is all you. You should be proud to sail aboard it.
>> Of course, sir.
>> He seems like a nice enough guy. I wonder if I picked the other choices before this, he would be like weird and off.
>> I'd expected more efficiency from them.
You think they should have been there to wake us?
>> I'd like to know why they thought the repairs were more important. For the record, I'd like to check their service logs.
>> H >> I mean, they put a [ __ ] hole through multiple layers of the ship. For the record, >> very well, for the record.
>> We need to let them know what is going on. So, they should definitely look into it, though.
>> We try.
What if one of us is already infected? I we're looking at Sims. We know Sims is uh infected or whatever, but I mean and it's weird that Carter's not talking.
Why?
We haven't seen anything from him. I feel like Carter should be like infected, too.
That was loud. Maybe that's Carter right there. I'm spinning so many theories in my head. What if we like we make it to Taetti and we're all infected and then we bait sister ship to show up there and then we infect all of them on the planet and then we develop like a giant alien humanity on a separate planet and they're able to like lie and communicate with them and then they bring the rest of humanity behind them. A dude, nothing over here.
Nothing over here either.
>> Now, what is this?
>> Uh, the camera's probably just [ __ ] up from the impact.
>> Why? Why not apply it here?
>> Oh, we can see what happened to her.
>> Honor it. Highlight them.
>> Consequence repairs.
>> That's wonderful.
>> Except I'm pretty sure Kenuki is for pottery or plants.
>> You can still apply the >> I feel like there's no way to save this character because this is like the driving force of any kind of conflict at the moment.
What she doing, >> Carter?
Okay.
So, she was there, lost connection, asked for him, and then just appeared over there. We didn't even see what happened to her.
Oh.
Um, she sat there and stared at the pod for who knows how many hours.
What the [ __ ] >> Okay, good one, man.
>> You are one crazy mother.
>> Jesus, Stafford. They should be running repairs at that time.
>> It looks odd, but the systems are glitching all over the ship.
>> The camera probably crashed, but the time code kept running.
>> That's an assumption. She was moving the entire time.
>> What are you suggesting?
>> I mean, obviously the player knows that they're hiding something. Is this bait or not? It doesn't matter.
>> Look at this. They clearly saw something offcreen. They look scared. They're nothing. The data is corrupted.
They have to be hiding something.
>> Have a little faith. Right now, the only evidence I see are the multiple system glitches going off, >> which are still pretty damning if you ask me.
>> Trust that everyone on board is capable and competent.
>> I I do.
>> I wish you could see that in your copy.
>> Please, just listen.
>> Trust them like they trust you, >> Commander.
>> Yeah, but like this is different though.
Like you know that. Uh here, look at Go and watch this [ __ ] back here. I'll show you all of it. Explain it to me. Eisley, you're the last person I need to remind how important this mission is.
>> Don't scold me.
>> I can't have you distracted by paranoia.
I need you on point.
>> Sir, >> what more do you want?
>> Uh, for all of us to live. Something doesn't sit right.
>> Something about this doesn't sit right with me.
>> Have you heard from Sims?
>> Listen, Eley, I respect you. You have vision. You have insight. You have eyes in the back of your goddamn head. But I need you to trust our crew.
>> Right. But can you trust me and say that? And [ __ ] how well the job is being done. I'm saying there's a [ __ ] alien on BOARD. WHERE IS CARTER? THAT WE'RE still not talking about the fact that Carter is dead ass gone. No one ever saw.
>> I'll talk to them. Trust me.
>> Okay. When you realize that one of them are aliens, then you're going to come back to me, right? And apologize. We're talking about this whole trust [ __ ] right? I do trust everybody.
>> We're still experiencing shorts in the lighting and surveillance systems. Any ETA on a fix?
>> Uh, that's on Carter. He's still in the guts doing wiring repairs.
>> Can you patch me through? I'd like to hear his voice.
>> Sure.
>> The damage must be shorting the ship's electronics.
>> Carter, can you hear me?
>> Sorry, Commander. There's just too much interference down there.
>> No mind. Just make sure he's well clear of there before we engage the breaking BM. Take care of >> Stafford has to. He's a smart guy.
There's no way that he's not sitting here thinking about Okay, this is weird now. Like where the [ __ ] is He's already asking like almost demanding to hear his voice. No, I want to hear his voice though. Why this planet? It's a It's a super Earth of some kind or what?
>> Dad could have seen this.
>> This doesn't seem very uh >> I know >> habitable. I mean, that looks like a bunch of storms and [ __ ] to me. No, >> maybe we should land this thing. Take a little walk before the Andromeda gets here.
>> True.
>> Not this again.
>> Look, I get it. Not enough to land and get home. I'm just saying it's about >> We don't need to get home. We could just >> This isn't about fortune and glory.
>> We were chosen to clear a path for history to be made. Think about that. We trained together. We launched together.
We execute the mission together and we return together.
It's not about what we do here.
It's about what we learn. The data we gather forged the way for the next great leap in human progress.
>> I respect it, but you have no idea what the [ __ ] about to happen. Man, >> he's good. Best of the best.
>> There are anomalous issues regarding the sleep crew.
>> Yeah.
>> I'm going to perform a search of their quarters. Cash crisis. Can you put a price tag on our future? The resounding answer from the governments around the world is no. At this point, there's no turning back. Oh, look.
>> CEO.
13576.
>> Interesting.
>> So, she's just walking around in like the most robotic way possible. Does the crew not recognize this or does everybody in this verse just walk around like they have a predetermined [ __ ] pathway? Investigate locker room.
>> What?
>> What the [ __ ] >> Carter, >> Carter. Hey, I saw you. Was that you?
>> What about >> What are you doing? Nothing. Mitchell guy. Dude, he's going to die. He's got to be next. Comedic relief guys are like the dudes that don't take [ __ ] too seriously. They always die. I made a mistake. We won't hold it against you.
Too much interference. Okay, sure.
Checked in with Sims. Things are fine.
They're just prepping for the break thing. Uh, okay. Kind of odd that you didn't say anything about uh Carter, but okay. Everything good? All good. Just gearing up for orbit. Wanted to say thanks for handling the wake up. You handed it real smooth. Thanks. We appreciate it. Smile. So nice. Okay.
at any cost. Now, why would they a one man change a course of history to save humanity? LaMarcus Williams.
She's so nice. They're going to kill her.
What's the problem? Talking about some trust him doesn't mean I don't check on him. What the [ __ ] are we talking about?
Shut up, man.
Um, this is Carter's room. Key code required.
Luna's Oh, Luna's birthday.
It works. Okay.
came out of the storage room. Why?
Why was she in here?
and I we'll chill, talk about the future, tend to the garden, and then wake the kids up for the fun stuff.
>> It's her [ __ ] face.
System error identified.
>> Wow. We're going to be awake for 8 years, so I thought I'd stock up enough.
>> I thought you might not make it.
>> What? I'm missing years of nothing but video games. Not likely.
>> Where are you going?
>> Warning. Reconfiguration in progress.
>> Reconfiguration.
Leave. Pretty sure I just watched her despawn. Fire control systems are offline. Oh, she turned those off, too. We already turned off the landing thing to redirect. She turned off the fire [ __ ] though. I wonder what would have happened if we turn off the fire thing first, then.
Does she even bother to uh come in here and turn that off now? Or does it affect something else? Oh, look, another uh trophy thing. Oh, [ __ ] Cool.
scared me.
>> What are you doing?
>> Fire control is restored.
Oh, she's just standing there.
>> What are you doing? What is wrong?
>> What's wrong, Sims? Talk to me.
>> Warning. Airlock locking claps released.
>> Whatel fuel junction 4.
[ __ ] I'll have you court marshaled.
>> Open this door now or I will have you court marshaled.
>> She's trying to kill us.
>> No [ __ ] >> Who gives a [ __ ] We're not There's no reasoning with her. We know she's an alien. We can't reason with her. It doesn't even matter what our relationship with her is.
>> Holy [ __ ] Get down there.
Go in the first person mode. That's nice. Pressurization cycle engaged.
>> All night in 5 4 3 2 1.
>> Are you safe? Reporting in.
>> I'm alive.
>> It was It was Sims.
She tried to kill me.
>> What? Why would she do that?
Everyone, I need you to remain.
>> Oh, damn Like I realistically should not have survived that at all. Oh, this is the uh the little crawling thing. I remember seeing this. I like this looks like some [ __ ] that I could actually go into.
Oh, there's blood.
Yeah, I imagine the cleanup for bodies is pretty difficult in space.
Lot of blood.
your [ __ ] >> Carter is dead as [ __ ] That's why we're not hearing from him. Oh, that's what she was doing. She hit him inside of the vent. I think >> this mission was meticulously planned.
Life, however, is unpredictable.
Whatever factors lie within our control, the universe always has a plan of its own.
>> End of chapter 2. Best laid plans.
