4 weeks outlook Cold First Week – Then High Pressure Takes Over Becomes Warmer.Added:
Well, at last I might have some good news for you. We've got the outlook for the next 4 weeks from the ECMWF taking us from today the 11th through to the 8th of June. So, let's find out what the good news is I'm bringing around the UK and Ireland. Wherever you live or go to go on holiday, of course. Let's do this.
>> [snorts] >> Monday the 11th to Monday the 18th. As you can see we've got low pressure over the UK and Ireland that indicated by the blue colors.
So, during this period as we've already forecasted, it's going to be quite chilly with temperatures around 1 to 5° below what you'd expect for the time of year.
Looking at the rainfall for this period, it's looking around average. Maybe a little drier in the southwest parts of Wales and southwest England and Ireland.
18th to the 25th of May. At last we've got high pressure over the UK and Ireland. This is bringing temperatures above average, especially for the Midlands southwards and Scotland where we could see temperatures 2 to 3° above average.
And rainfall is looking around average.
Perhaps a little drier below average rainfall out on East Anglia around the Norfolk Suffolk area.
25th of May to the 1st of June. High pressure still in control of the weather and this will bring us above average temperatures for the Midlands southwards which is covering Wales and most of Ireland.
It looks to be a fairly dry period with below average rainfall for southern parts of England and Ireland.
And Monday, the 1st of June to the 8th, high pressure still over the UK.
This is going to bring above average temperatures, about 1 to 2° above average for Wales and the southwest parts of England and Ireland.
The rest of England and Scotland and Northern Ireland, temperatures around average.
So, it should be feeling quite pleasant.
And it's looking to be very dry for Ireland with below average rainfall. And the UK seems to be around average rainfall. Well, I do hope you find that a bit better than what we've been used to. Warmer temperatures and drier conditions, I think we'll we'll take that, won't we? If you've enjoyed this forecast, do give me a thumbs up and leave your comment below. Let me know what the weather's doing outside your doorstep at the moment. Till we meet again, look after yourselves and those you love. Be a friend. Bye for now.
