NI KUBAYA! OBURU'S SHOCKING HEART MESSAGE AS ODM LEADERSHIP CHANGED AFTER IMPROMPTU MEETINGAdded:
[music] [music] >> Yes, um hello folks. Welcome back. I am hoping you're okay. And of course remember Yes, political here with the court power with the set Kenya.
Now, Raila Odinga has resurfaced. And remember matters is health has really made Kenyans talking. And people Some people believe that Raila Odinga is not fit to hold the ODM position as the leader.
And some believe that he should be given time to actually continue leading ODM party.
Raila Odinga said something that of course I believe we all need to hear or listen to.
Watch.
I would just want to assure and uh first of all I want to thank Kenyans for their concern about my uh my absence.
And uh I want to assure them that I am up and about and I'm not I did abducted. I'm not sick. I'm not I'm quite okay.
Uh it was just a bit of uh not just a rest, but I I was also busy giving directions here and there to our party.
Because our party was not was not upset.
Our party is is present.
And it is present fully.
It is doing its activities as normal.
So, activity because we are a structured party we don't to depend on one person.
Yes, you see When you see him talking, you will clearly see that Oburu is very weak.
Of course, he's saying it's okay.
It's okay.
But now he's saying this.
The Kenyan party is structural, Mukubwa.
And ODM does not need They don't need each other. Like you see, anyone can lead ODM party.
That's what his message and he's saying Yeye akipotea, ODM will still go on.
In a nutshell, what he's saying is that he is not ready to continue being the leader of ODM party.
Sorry, and you see, even when Raila Odinga is brother was alive, Raila never at any time missed ODM functions until when he was sick and flown to India.
You see? So, what's coming out here is that Oburu Odinga will not hold the ODM position for long.
He is going to quit being the ODM leader real soon. He will quit.
ODM leader Dr. Oburu Oginga's silence has been too loud and a section of members are questioning, especially after missing out on key party functions.
The last time Oburu was seen publicly was during the party's national youth league convention on 20th of last month.
Kileleshwa MCA Robert Alai now amplifying the murmurs by party members calling for the search of a standby party leader to steer the party in case Oburu is unable. He says a new party leader should be groomed in earnest or else fold the outfit and have a new one.
We lost OUR LEADER. THIS HAS BEEN OUR LEADER FOR 40 YEARS. BUT WHAT I say, let's not remain down. The party leader is very okay. He's fine and tomorrow he'll be seeing him somewhere in the alma mater of his late father. Okay. And and remember, we have seen ODM leaders some who are against Oburu being the leader.
For example, we saw um Ali. Saying that Oburu should give up the position as soon as possible.
And of course, if you ask me, I will tell you one thing.
That it is high time for ODM to sit down, swallow their ego, and hand over the position to Orengo and Sifuna.
For these are the only people who have that energy that Raila had.
But now, you see people like Mudavadi and Wanga are selfish.
What they want is to support Ruto.
Wanga, Gladys Wanga, the woman the governor, I believe she wants to be the deputy president.
But the real sense she's the one who wants to be the deputy president.
So, these other leaders of ODM who are actually pro Oburu Odinga, >> [snorts] >> they're being selfish. Okay? They don't care about the future of ODM because the future of ODM lies with Sifuna and Orengo and Babu Owino. And that's the reality.
For the future is the people.
And the people support Akinyi Orengo.
The people don't support Akinyi Wanga.
And I think Oburu Odinga, as much as people are saying he's sick, because of his sickness, um with his age, I'm not I'm not shocked that he's going to be ill. He's old.
And last year he was taken to Dubai. He was ill.
This time around, maybe probably he went to Dubai, we don't know. But he has been missing for over 1 week.
But as much as people say he's sick, I could believe that. Probably Odinga has given up on ODM.
Cuz he has seen there's nowhere they're heading to.
They're fighting a losing war.
>> [screaming] >> of ODM on Saturday.
And it's high time they need to sit down and come up with a strategy to make ODM as powerful, as popular as it was when Raila was alive.
Okay? Because they they know ODM is up there. In fact, the only ODM people see that is almost the ODM Raila, me ODM Orengo. Yes.
Okay? So, ODM should belong to Orengo, not belong to Orengo, but the people who need to actually lead the party is Orengo Sifuna.
Oburu should remain as the, you know, advisor as he was when Raila was alive.
But not as the leader because he's old and he's weak.
He's weak. For 2 weeks he's been missing.
Okay? So, but you see, the president I'm I'm a member of parliament because the president knows why he wants Oburu to be there.
Yes. Look at me, my Do you believe Oburu is okay?
Do you think he's okay? Or do you believe Oburu should remain, you know, should relax and stay with his grandchildren?
Okay? As he remains the advisor of the ODM party. Thank you.
