Reducing a profound Euripidean tragedy to a clickbait narrative about "upgrades" strips the myth of its complex existential weight. It oversimplifies a cosmic exploration of agency and divine justice into a mere tabloid-style cautionary tale.

She Killed For Him. He Left Her For an Upgrade
Added:Did you know that in Greek mythology, a woman helped a man become a legend and he repaid her by leaving her for someone younger? Her name was Medea. When Jason came to steal the golden fleece, he had no real plan. Medea was the one who saved him. She was a sorceress and a princess and she gave up everything to help him. She betrayed her own father.
She killed her own brother and scattered his body into the sea just to slow down the ships chasing them. Every obstacle Jason faced, Medea removed it. She made him untouchable. Then Jason decided he wanted to marry a Greek princess instead, a political upgrade. Medea did not cry. She did not beg. She sent the princess a wedding gift, a poison dress that burned her alive. The king died trying to save her. Then Medea killed her own children, the one she had with Jason, so he would have nothing left.
Jason survived, but he had no wife, no children, no kingdom, and no future. She did not destroy him with a sword. She destroyed everything he was trying to build.
