This video features former Kenyan Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua criticizing the United States' proposal to establish an Ebola quarantine facility in Kenya, arguing that Kenya should not bear health risks that the US refuses to accept for its own citizens, and challenging the US to demonstrate consistent rule of law by respecting Kenya's court order against the facility.

GACHAGUA BREAKS SILENCE ON RUTO-TRUMP EBOLA FACILITY PLAN! HIS WORDS LEAVE KENYANS TALKING!💔🔥追加:
If America I am not sure they can handle that outbreak.
What about Kenya where we are able to handle malaria?
What about Kenya?
What about Kenya where shy is not working?
>> [laughter] >> What about Kenya where there are no drugs?
If America the way it is established, they have the best working health system in the world. To an extent that medical equipment in America, even hospital beds and other equipment like MRI scanners, they only keep them two years. They discard them, they get new equipment.
If they are that advanced and they lack confidence they can handle that Ebola.
What about [screaming] our country here?
People have been harassing me for the last three days. Rigathi, you are the most truthful man south of Sahara, north of River Limpopo.
You always tell Kenyans what is happening.
I have not spoken to that matter because I have actually been in shock.
When I heard about it, I actually thought it is fake news.
I thought it's AI.
It has taken me time until my son who is a medical doctor, Dr. Keith came to see me yesterday morning and told me it is true.
The United States government has said their citizens having Ebola should not step into their land because of the danger of any possible mishandling that can wipe the entire population of the United States of America.
Then the United States of America have said look for some country somewhere.
Where we can take these people because we don't want them in our own Who are into us?
And the country has been identified as to where people with Ebola can be taken for quarantine.
So that if something goes wrong, it doesn't go wrong in the United States.
It is Kenya.
You want to say this is wrong?
We have nothing against United States.
But we also are responsible country.
If the USA is saying this Ebola thing is so serious we don't want our own citizens brought here because of the danger of any spread.
It cannot be that Kenya we are so good, we are so magnanimous that we are willing to take the risk that the United States is not willing to take.
I want to say this is wrong.
And I want to agree with the High Court of Kenya who have issued a conservatory order stopping the establishment of an Ebola center within the Republic of Kenya.
And my son was telling me that I've come to tell you as a medical doctor for the first time I'm very happy you are removed from office.
I asked him, "How come?"
He said, "We felt humiliated. We felt treated badly.
But today I'm happy you are not part of that government because this is a reckless government.
Had you been deputy president and a decision is made to allow the establishment of an Ebola center in Kenya, I would be embarrassed as your son and as a medical doctor.
So, I'm happy you are out of this government because you cannot be part of that recklessness of endangering an entire population.
I want with a lot of tremendous respect to the United States of America.
The United States of America is the greatest, largest democracy.
We admire their democracy and their observance of the rule of law and constitutionalism.
We learn from the United States. We are not yet there.
We would like to be like the United States in matters democracy and the observance of the rule of law.
I want to ask the United States of America since there is a court order stopping the establishment of that center in Kenya, show us the way in observing the rule of law.
Don't join Kenya in disobeying a court order and practicing impunity.
You'll be You'll be taking us back.
We'll be wondering whether you have two standards, one for America that is a democratic country that observes the rule of law, respects court order, but in Kenya, you can join the Kenyan government in impunity to disregard a court order.
Because I'm told despite the court order equipment are being brought to Nanyuki.
>> [laughter] >> We have been living without their money.
>> [clears throat] >> I cry for my people of Kenya.
So bad.
Today I have a very big responsibility here and I want you to move with me. You know, you know our country needs hope.
This America believe that they are above everybody as if God created them before he created the rest of us.
And America believes that other human beings are not equal human beings. They are above. That is not true. We are not lesser human beings.
Kenyans are not lesser human beings.
America went to steal Congo and in the process as God is always above he allowed Ebola.
WHILE THEY ARE THERE EBOLA HAS HAS NOT BEEN IN Congo for a while, but once the Americans went to Congo God allowed Ebola. And this Ebola is affecting the American seriously. So America now thinks like why can't I establish a quarantine facility in Kenya? Had I known earlier that it was a true thing.
You know, mimi nilifikiria ni mambo ya mtandao.
I did not imagine that it was real. Had I known earlier I could have advised the president against the mis advice. There are there are several advisors around the president who miss the advice.
Or do we call it misadvising? But they normally miss what to advise. So, they guess.
The truth is if America has interest of human beings at heart, let them construct a quarantine facility in Congo for both the Congolese and THE AMERICANS.
WHY EVACUATE YOUR OWN CITIZENS LEAVING CONGOLESE AS IF THEY ARE LESSER HUMAN BEINGS?
IF IF TRUMP BELIEVES THAT EVEN AFRICANS ARE HUMAN BEINGS, LET THEM ESTABLISH A QUARANTINE FACILITY IN EITHER KINSHASA OR BUKAVU FOR THE CONGOLESE WHO ARE AFFECTED SO THAT THE FACILITY CAN TAKE CARE of both Americans and THE CONGOLESE.
YOU CANNOT JUST TAKE GOLD AND YOU DON'T WANT TO SHARE IN OUR PROBLEMS.
THERE'S NO need to establish one in Kenya. Ebola has not yet arrived in Kenya. It is in Congo and Uganda.
They can either construct one in Mbarara, Uganda or Kinshasa. BUT IF THEY WANT TO DO ANYTHING IN KENYA, LET THEM CONSTRUCT A FACTORY that manufactures food for those who are sick of Ebola. That's what we can advise.
>> [applause] >> And about to jam in here.
Jam in Trump and me at your wagon to walk with you what to be with Natasha.
Who could you see when you have seen you had a dinner chocolate a pizza?
Kupapaya lucky near.
I'm going to be what to call to pour our letter to Google.
What you call me how what to let them Google?
The party is all my wagon to go to my taco taco.
Eh?
Now I have to petition what we had to call them.
No to call him Bali now you are about to call them to let it be so with you then you.
Let it be my home and I will play the game.
Now my When you are going to get When you are going to get When you are going to get When you are going to get
