Factional "OBIDIENT" Movement Emerge. Sack Peter Obi As Presidential Candidate

A group faceless, nameless in any recence and with zero traceable history has announced itself as the original obedience movement and in their very first breath did exactly what they were assembled to do. They sack Peter as presidential candidate and declared they will pick someone else to support. That is not a movement. That is a political grenade with a sponsored pin. Let us call this what it is from the very beginning. A poorly scripted operation to inject confusion into the most organic, passionate, and peopledriven political movement Nigeria has seen in decades. But before we get into the sinister plot behind it, let us first deal with the sheer absurdity of what just happened.

[00:02:07]So, a group of people woke up one morning, head what was most likely a meeting in someone's living room and announced to the world that they are the original obedience movement and that Peter has been sack sack Peter sack by people nobody has ever heard of. The comedy will be perfect if the intentions behind it wearing so dangerous. Now, this group is claiming something even more bretaking that they started the obedience movement and that Peter hijacked it from them. This is not just laughable. It is historically illiterate. It is a statement that insult the intelligence of millions of Nigerians who live through 2022 and know exactly how this movement came to be.

[00:02:47]The obedient movement was not born in a boardroom. It was not designed by consultants or launched with a press release. It grew in the streets, on Twitter, in university hostess, in market squares among young Nigerians who had finally found a candidate they believe in. And who was that candidate?

[00:03:04]Peter Obi. The name obedience literally came from his name Obi. His supporters call themselves obedient because they were supporting Obi. Period. Think about it this way. The Quanguasia movement is named after Quangasu. Nobody wakes up and says Quanasu hijackquas from the people who founded it. That would be nonsense. The movement exists because of the man. You cannot separate the identity from the principle. You cannot hijack what was built in your name by people who love you to put you in power.

[00:03:34]This so-called group did not start the obedience movement. The millions of young Nigerians who pasted Peter Ruby's face on walls, who wore his melt under the hot sun, who mobilized their communities, who registered to vote for the first time in their life. Those people started the obedience movement and every single one of them started it in support of one man, Peter Obi. You cannot sack a man from a movement that exists because of him. That is like telling water it has been removed from the ocean.

[00:04:02]If this were an isolated incident, one rogue group making noise, perhaps it could be dismissed as political mischief. But this is not isolated. This is a pattern. A coordinated deliberate sustained campaign to dismantle Peter political structure before 2027 even arrive. Firstly, they went after the Labor Party. A faction emerged inside the Labor Party with the clear intention of fracturing the platform that deliver Peter Robbie's historic 2023 performance. Lego battles parallel executive conflicting directive classic destabilization. Then they moved to the ADC as we exploit and eventually align with the ADC ahead of 2027.

[00:04:41]Suddenly the ADC became a battlefield. A faction crisis erupted. Courts were dragged in. The NHM became a subject of controversy. All of it designed to make the ADC an unstable ground for Peter to stand on. And now they have moved for the obedience movement itself. Labor party check. ADC check. Obedient movement check. Do you see the strategy they are surrounding the man? They want every structure, every platform, every identity associated with Peter to be contested, confused and compromised before the election season gains momentum. They want voters to look at Peter and see chaos everywhere he turns.

[00:05:18]After all, Kennedo already said that Peter is a man that chaos follows. But here is a fundamental flaw in this particular operation against the obedience movement and it is a fatter flaw.

[00:05:30]The obedience movement is not an organization. It has no register address. It has no constitution. It has no membership register. You cannot create a faction in something that has no formal structure to fracture. The obedient movement is a spirit. It is a collective of millions of Nigerians bound not by party card but by believing one man. The only way you can create a legitimate faction in the obedient movement is to go through Peter Rubi himself. And that obviously is not happening. This faceless group are dead on arrival. They can hold press conference. They can issue statements.

[00:06:04]They can sack whoever they like. But they cannot move one single obedient supporters because those supporters know where their loyalty lives. and their loyalty does not live with anonymous groups who cannot even tell you who they are. But we need to have a frank conversation about sponsorship. For a long time, the default assumption was that everything targeting Peter Ruby's political ambition flow from one source, the Tinable Presidency, keen on neutralizing the most credible oppos.

[00:06:33]And while that remains plausible, the picture has now become more complicated because the attacks are now coming from multiple directions simultaneously. And one of those direction is unmistakably the camp of Atiku Abubaka. Artiku who has already declared his 2027 presidential ambition. Understand that Peter represents a fundamental threat to his coalition building strategy in the north and among progressive voters in the south. The last thing that he could need is for Obi to walk into 2027 with a united obedient base, a stable ADC platform and the moral authority of a man who many Nigerians genely believe was robbed in 2023. So when you see attacks on Obi coming from the opposition side, do not be too quick to assume the presidency is behind all of it. The political establishment as a whole, both ruling party and key opposition figures appear to have arrived at an uncomfortable consensus.

[00:07:25]Petroi must not be allowed to consolidate. What is infuriating, however, is the role of the news media in all of this. A faceless group with no history, no membership, no legitimacy, no track record announces something as sub and section of the Nigerian media run it as a serious news story. This is exactly how political theater works. You plan the story, the media amplifies it.

[00:07:48]It created a perception of movement and momentum and suddenly a non-event becomes a national conversation. This is the manipulation of public consciousness using media as a weapon and it is one of the most dangerous things happening in Nigerian political journalism today. The amplification of sponsored nonsense as legitimate political development is a disservice to the millions of Nigerians who depend on credible information to make their democratic choice. But let us talk about the part that should give every honest Nigerian ai according to the official result of the 2022 presidential election came third.

[00:08:24]Third, he was not the winner. He was not even the runner up if you believe in neck figures. He recently joined a new platform, the NDC, that is not even one of Nigerian's two dominant party. So, someone should please explain this to us like we are kids. Why is everyone talking about him? Why in every political conversation about 2027 does this name dominate? Why are factions being created in his party? Why are factions being created in his coalition?

[00:08:51]Why are factions being created in his movement? Why is the Labour party being destabilized specifically in ways that harm him? Why is the ADC being fought specifically in ways that target his potential candidacy? Why is a random group using his movement identity to state a publicity stunt? If this man truly came a distant thought if he's truly not a major factor, then why is everyone so terrified of him? You do not create multiple parallel destabilization campaign against someone who is not a threat, did not mobilize lawyers, fake executive Phantom movement, court orders, venue intimidation, and media manipulation against a man who doesn't matter. Political establishment do not spend this kind of energy on irrelevant people. And here's the question that must now be asked openly without apology. What exactly happened in the 2023 election, not the story told, not the declaration that was made at that early morning press conference, what actually happened in those resort, word by word, state by state, number by number. Because the way PB is being treated in Nigerian politics does not match the story of a man who came third.

[00:09:57]A man who came third will be an afterthought by now. He will be a footnote. His movement would have dissolved. His platform will be quiet.

And the only explanation that makes sense, the only one that fits all the data we can see with our very eyes, is that the real numbers from 2023 were so staggering, so astronomically in Peter's favor that the establishment has been in a state of control panic ever since. That is the only way this level of coordinated aggression makes sense. They are not afraid of who he is today. They afraid of what the actual numbers show and what those numbers mean for 2027.

The obedient movement does not live in a press conference. He live in the heart of millions of Nigerians who have not forgotten what they saw, what they believe and what the fear was taken from them. Those people are still there. They are watching and every fake faction, every sponsored chaos, every laughable storms like this one does not weaken them.
