UHURU FINALLY TAKES ACTION AFTER RUTO ALLIES CALLED HIM A THIEF, SENDS WARNING TO KASONGO!🔥Added:
thank you. Thank you. Thank you. How are my colleagues? How are you again?
Hello.
Thank you very much.
I would first like to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who have come from various parts of our Kiambu County to be here with us today.
And when I say that, I say that knowing that even last week we had another activity that due to the circumstances we were unable to attend but you agreed that we would meet and you would come back again and that is why we have a chance in Kiambu.
Thank you very much, my colleagues from Kiambu.
I am very grateful to say that today was not my day, it was to come here to join you as we discuss our Jubilee Party, where we are and where we are heading.
As you know, we have had various problems with our party and they are not problems that have been ours, they are problems that were brought to us, you know, from the moment I gave up the sovereignty of the country and I gave up in a respectful, calm and peaceful way.
My job from there was to start a plan to provide our Jubilee Party with new leaders to take it forward, and we began that process, starting through the process that was required by law, the national constitution, and the constitution of our party.
But others saw that this was their chance to tarnish our party and they locked us up and sent us to prison for two or three years.
We have been arguing about something that does not exist because we were saying that citizen members should be given the opportunity to elect the leaders they want.
Now today I am still in the process of handover and some say that I am interfering in politics.
If they had let me go in the future, this busy work would have been finished long ago and that was my passion, but I have decided that we will continue until we complete that work according to the will of our members and according to the laws and guidelines of our constitution, having followed the laws that are set out in our constitution and in the laws of our country, Kenya.
So the journey we have begun has now seen that the changes we made instead of slightly changing our constitution have now been accepted by Dr. Matiangi has been confirmed as the deputy leader of our party, they are calling him that and he has been given the opportunity to be the secretary general and the others are different and it is up to us to register people and the citizens to register the citizens so that we can have grassroots party elections until we reach the top and we can have our country Kenya ahead because of the decisions of the people themselves and not the decisions of a few people and that is the journey we have started and that is where we are today, I am not offended and I am happy to see many who have arrived who are ready to compete for various leadership positions from the grassroots to the top. That is your right and we are behind you.
My goal is to assure you that if I am the one who has remained with the party, it is to ensure that the elections that will be held within our party will be fair elections without favoritism, and that the citizens themselves will decide the leaders they want.
So I'm telling you, if there is anyone who thinks you will be elected because you are a friend of a certain citizen, that is the way to ensure that we have gotten justice and that we have got leaders who have been elected by the people but not leaders who are imposed on us. Is n't that how it is, my friends?
And I want to say this, as the leader of this party, if there is anything, I am happy that our party is not a party of a particular area. Our party is a national party.
We are a national party.
And what we consider is the interests of citizens from every corner of our nation of Kenya.
We are not a discriminatory party. It is not a party of preferences, we are a national party and as I have said and I am looking at my brother Matiangi here, I am not saying that because he is a Kikuyu, I am saying that if you want to be the leader of the Jubilee party, lead by uniting and working for the people wherever they come from, you go everywhere in this country and defend their rights and I am happy that we have our secretary general here, someone who I have known for many years, we have been with him since we were in TNA and with his politics in Narok, he does not care about the Masai, he does not care about the Kikuyu, he does not care about the Kalinzin, he does not care about the Kuria, he serves all equally as the people who feel and he is their leader.
And that is our direction as a party and we cannot accept being pushed back and no one deserves to intimidate another.
No one deserves to intimidate a different ethnic group. We are all Kenyans and God Almighty knows why He brought us together in a country called Kenya. He did n't come here to divide us and make us fight.
That's not fair.
And I want to say this because to me, this politics is the truth.
Well, we have started to see some people starting divisive politics and they are not ashamed to say this, they say this in front of the country's leaders and they stand and say provocative things, things that will bring war, things that will divide Kenyans.
And no one stands there to say don't say that, they are only allowed to say what they say, we as a nation and it is good that we tell each other the truth because if we don't speak the truth, we will repeat the mistakes that we have made in this country.
This is not the first time we have seen leaders say dirty things that could lead to violence.
And the last time we saw them was in 2007, so let's not think that those things started right there. It started with words like these that people are talking about.
I ask government leaders.
I ask the security leaders of our country, Kenya, if you truly love our country, not to allow these things to continue.
If you want goodness and peace in the country, leaders should sell policies.
Sell policies. And I ask you, too, if you are happy, let's sell policies, sell what we want to do for the people, and let's not discriminate against the people, let's sell our policies, our work, because you are failing.
It doesn't take a person to be very intelligent to know where the problem is to say that if people have this and this and this, why didn't they do it? Not every time and in his time we are gone, you are there.
We tried because we could, you too can deal with the issue. And the issue is simple, my friends. The issue is simple.
People are shouting because they say, " I am someone whose monthly salary is 20,000 shillings, and that 20,800 goes to petrol alone for the matatu to go and return home."
12 goes to the house I have rented, I have 2000 left to feed my children and send them to school. That's the problem. Add trouble.
No. Talk about tribal issues and what they are or how they are, my friends, and if you want us to help each other solve that problem, say let's solve that but go ahead and put the problem in the middle and say oh it's because of this one oh it's because of this one and I swear there is no one who doesn't see where the problem is, let's put it on the table and solve it if we are really Kenyans and we love our country, let's go divide us there oh the problem is because of that one the same how does that help move this country forward it really helps us, I swear let's know that our problems are mortal problems and they need us all to solve them, I swear Kenyans will not eat words when they are hungry and want food. A child will not be educated with words, let's reform the vocabulary of schools. A patient will not be cured with words, we must repair our hospitals.
Roads are not built and words are "let's build roads" and other things that concern Kenyans and these things have no tribe, no color, no religion, nothing, they concern every Kenyan wherever you are, okay and that's why I ask you, the jubilees, stand up like Kenyans, stand up like people who love their country or how is it, my colleague and even these leaders, I tell you there is no need because that is the conspiracy so that someone says something and someone else gets angry and says it.
Let them say and praise each other as they want, as if that's all they know. You guys keep quiet, sell policies, sell policies and say we don't need the losers, we need the Kenya of tomorrow. Do we understand each other, my friends?
Yes, I'm saying I won't answer them. I am responsible for what I benefit from, our country and where the country is and where the country needs to go. We understand each other, my friends.
So don't be fooled into talking about things that don't exist. Let's talk about what we will do, what we will do, what will save Kenyans from the various problems they are facing. That is our need. That is our direction. That is our guideline.
And I want to tell you that's what Kenyans want to hear. And that's why I strongly advise my colleagues not to be people who will be led by politicians.
Let's find leaders.
Look for leaders.
And that's not to say that a leader must be old. Even you young people have the ability to be leaders.
Don't decide that you can only be somebody by cheap popularity that takes you nowhere. You can be leaders through action of how you can uplift your brothers and sisters. That's what people want.
How can you make a difference in somebody else's life? Do we understand each other, my friends? Do we understand each other? I don't know what Dynasty Hassela has brought to them? What has brought you here?
What has it brought you?
Now, come and be told that what other tribal politics will bring you except trouble?
Hey, don't accept it, focus on the changes that will elevate the status of your neighbor, be it a Kikuyu, a Kaljine, a Luo, a Kamba, a Kisii, or a Mdigo, that neighbor is the one you deserve to elevate if he rises, even if you have risen or how? And you young people who are seeking leadership, seek leadership by explaining to your fellow young people how you will change their lives, how you will provide them with jobs, how you will develop their streets, how you will collaborate with them so that they can become Kenyans who are proud of the world and enjoy their country. That is all we need my friends. This is your problem, because Nairobi has become so diverse. How many ethnic groups live here? Aren't there many? Aren't there many?
Who went?
Yeah.
Yes. and you have welcomed them and they live here and do their jobs and their businesses.
Some you have chosen to be MAMMCA, others you have chosen to attend various colleges in business because of how you know them as leaders.
It's not because you know these people because of their ethnicity.
We have agreed, my friends, that Kenya belongs to all and where you live is where you belong.
Enjoy yourself, be proud, and refuse to be subjected to ignorant politics, politics that will get you nowhere. Isn't that right, my friends?
Change your life, politics, Kenya with strength and happiness, movement and life, all the citizens of Kenya, wherever they are, may they be blessed, thank you very much, thank you so much, bishop, bishop.
