Directly in front of the accelerating aircraft, the man was struck by the jet's engine, which caused a brief engine fire and filled the cabin with smoke. Yes, the pilots immediately aborted the takeoff and all 230 passengers were safely. So that must have happened before V1, which is their go no-go safety speed.

[00:54:02]The corner officially ruled the incident a suicide.
