In FRC matches, alliances must strategically manage their lead throughout different match phases (autonomous, first shift, second shift, third shift, and end game), with the outcome determined by cumulative scoring across all phases. The match demonstrates how alliances can gain or lose leads through strategic play, with the final outcome often decided by performance in the end game when both hubs are active.

FRC 9496 LYNK | Clean Robot Video 4K | 2026 Galileo Q9Hinzugefügt:
All right, here we go. Match number nine underway here at Galileo.
Five of the six robots moving here in autonomous.
Early advantage to the red alliance, but it's pretty tight here in this autonomous round.
And in the end, blue looks to take it over and take the autonomous round. Red had the lead most of it, but at the end it was blue.
So, blue takes autonomous. Red is going to start off active when they get into first shift of this match. First shift starts, the red hub is active. Blue with the lead of about almost 50 points.
Over on the red side, a combination of yellow fuel cells and all the red parts on the red side of the field looking kind of orange over there.
We're coming to the end of shift number one, and now it is shift number two.
We've got the yellow fuel cells going into the blue hub, and the combination of yellow and blue looking verdant over there on the blue side of the field.
A minute and a half to go, advantage now for the blue alliance. They overtake red in this shift.
We come to the end of shift number two, and now the red hub is active.
Let's see if red can overtake blue now.
They got to close the gap first.
All right, here we go. Match number nine is close.
It's very close.
Red is now going to overtake blue here.
two and a half minutes left in this match.
So, we are flip-flopping blue's on the attack.
And now the blue hub is active in shift number four.
They are going to try and take the lead back from red.
They're closing the gap.
For red, here goes blue and they overtake them.
So, blue now in the lead here in this match as we come to the end of ship number four and enter into the end game.
So, now under half a minute to go and there's red both hubs are active and blue is up and we have about a third of the air 40 point lead here.
So, let's see what happens with the golden 20 seconds to go.
Red is trying to close the gap.
Red is still leading here as we go into the final seconds lots of scoring here in the final seconds. Four seconds to go now. Three, two, one.
