Ex-USAF Officer Kwiatkowski: US doesn't have military capability to 'suppress' Iran's military

[00:00:00]I think it's impossible for the United States to prevail against Iran for the basically because we don't have the military capability to even suppress their their own military capability from beyond. We certainly do not have the military troops that it would take to go into Iran. That we we simply don't have the capability to win anything. If if Trump was crazy, which he kind of is, but if he decided, "Well, we will nuke we'll use a nuclear weapon or we'll allow or somehow Israel will use a nuclear weapon." That is not a victory because that is that is the most incredible loss for the United States possible. That would be a regional disaster that the US would be correctly blamed for. So, there is no way to victory. What Trump wants is something he can wave as a as a win. And I think in Trump's mind and the people that are advising him certainly the Israelis have his ear and they want more bombing of Iran. They want more destruction of Iran.

[00:01:06]They're telling him this is what we want and I think in Trump's mind he can drop more bombs and kind of do a quick declaration of a victory once and for all and then and then leave it as it is. I think the 10-point stand whether Trump agrees to them or not that's and it's very uh it's an interesting situation really that I don't think the United States has found itself in for some time, for many many decades really.
