In such a situation, India and Europe are entering a new golden era of their relations. Last year, India and the European Free Trade Association entered into force a landmark Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement.

[00:00:40]This agreement is a blueprint to ensure shared progress and prosperity between India and Norway. This agreement aims to invest $1 billion and create one million jobs in India over the next 15 years.

[00:01:08]Today, both of us have taken several important decisions to convert the promises of this agreement into outcomes.

[00:01:31]This strategic partnership will enable our companies to develop global solutions by combining India's scale, speed, and talent with Norway's technology and capital in sectors ranging from clean energy to climate resilience, blue economy, and green shipping.
