Well, believe it or not, there's actually a practical reason for it. You see, Hitler didn't always have this mustache. During World War I, he actually had a much fuller mustache that covered his entire upper lip. But there was a problem. Gas masks were becoming standard equipment for soldiers, and Hitler's big mustache was preventing his mask from sealing properly. This meant he couldn't get protection from poison gas attacks. Now, this was obviously life or death. So Hitler was ordered to trim his mustache down to fit under the gas mask and that's how he ended up with what we see today. The style was actually called a toothbrush mustache and it was pretty popular back then.
