Group Alleges Gov. Makinde Wasted N2B On Ibadan Political Summit

[00:00:00]A group, the Save Oyo Movement, has accused the governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, of wasting another 2 billion naira on a political summit held in Ibadan. The group alleged that Governor Makinde has lavished over 10 billion naira from the 30 billion naira received from the federal government for victims of the January 2024 Ibadan explosion on his bid to be vice presidential candidate of any political party. In a release signed by its coordinator, Akim Olaleti, called for investigation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offenses Commission.
