[00:00:09]Where decisions are made, where things are [music] built, where good things grow, and where innovation shapes our future.

[00:00:18]My late grandfather came here in the 1950s [music] working as a farmer in Bradford, the carrot capital of Canada. I grew up in North [music] York, raised by a single mom in a one-bedroom apartment. I was given every opportunity through great public schools. That education changed my life, led me to a career in public service, [music] and now I'm proud to represent the people of Ajax as their MPP.

[00:00:42]But today, life is harder than it was 8 years ago. Families are working more [music] and still falling behind. The cost of living is too high. Health care isn't where it needs [music] to be, and too many young people are being left without opportunity.

[00:00:56]People are looking for something different, for hope, for competence, and for solutions, because we can do better than this. We can build more homes, strengthen public health care, >> [music] >> invest in education as the foundation to a strong economy, and build the Ontario we love.

[00:01:14]These are the pillars of our province, and when they're strong, [music] there's nothing we can't achieve. I've seen what happens when people come together and believe [music] in something better. In Ajax, we organized, we knocked on every door, we listened, and we won against all the odds, not because of one person, but because of a team. And I believe we can do that all across Ontario, because Ontario [music] Liberals are ready. Ready to build.

[00:01:43]That's why I'm running to be the [music] next leader of the Ontario Liberal Party. But this isn't about me. It's about all of us coming together [music] to rebuild our party and form the next government of Ontario together.
