Hello everyone. Today we are presenting our project Lux Mart, a premium e-commerce website. Lux Mart is designed as a modern, user-friendly e-commerce platform that simulates real-world online shopping systems. The main objective of this project is to provide a seamless shopping experience by combining a clean user interface with powerful functionalities like cart management, authentication, AI assistant, and real-time communications.
In today's digital era, users expect fast, interactive, and personalized platforms. Keeping that in mind, we designed Lux Mart to be not just functional, but also visually appealing and responsive across different devices.
Let me start with the overall interface.
Homepage. The homepage is structured in a way that allows user to quickly explore the products. Users can browse multiple categories such as men, women, electronics, wedding collections, beauty, and many more.
We have implemented a modern UI that includes a navigation bar with login, wish list, cart, and account options, a category section for structured browsing, a hero slider to highlight trending offers and promotions, a forum section to enhance user engagement. All of this is built using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring responsiveness and smooth interaction. Now coming to the product system, products in the Lux Mart are not hard-coded into the HTML.
Instead, they instead they are dynamically generated using JavaScript.
Each product includes detailed attributes such as product name, brand, price, and discount, ratings and reviews, and product images.
This structured approach allows us to easily manage large data sets and display products dynamically across different sections. For example, categories like men, women, wedding, and festival collections are rendered using reusable logic, making the system scalable. So overall, this part of the project focuses on delivering a clean interface along with efficient and dynamic product rendering.
Hello everyone. I am Mitali Singh, and now I'll explain the core functionalities of our project, which is the backbone of an e-commerce system.
The first major feature is the cart and order system. When a user click on the add to cart button, the selected product data is stored in local storage. The cart icon in the nav bar updates instantly to reflect the number of items.
A toast notification appears to confirm that the product has been added. This provides immediate feedback to the user, improving usability. Once item are added, the user can navigate to the cart page.
Here they can see view selected products, check pricing details, and proceed to place an order.
After checkout, the product details move to the my order section, completing the full shopping cycle. This creates a realistic flow from product selection to order placement, similarly to real-world platform like Amazon or Flipkart. Next in the authentication system, which is essential for personalization.
Users can register a new account, log in with their credentials, access their profile, wish list, and order history.
We implemented token-based authentication and use local storage to store user session data. One of the key highlight is data persistence. Even if the user refresh the page or open the website in another tab, their login session and data remains intact. This continue until the user explicitly log out, ensuring convenience and a seamless experience. This part of the project demonstrate how user session and shopping data are managed efficiently in the modern web application. Thank you.
Hello everyone. My name is Tejas, and I am here to present our project named as Lux Mart, and I am here to present a specific topic called AI chat and backend integration.
We have implemented AI API that enhance user experience by providing personalized style suggestion based on occasion. Let's suppose we have we have we want outfit for college.
So website to draw about this. So it given suggestion like we can wear graphic t-shirt and sneakers with a cool baggy jeans.

And smart response to user queries and interactive chat like assistant.
Next, we have implemented a real-time chat system similar to WhatsApp support.
This feature is built using socket IO, which enables in real-time communication between user and this system.
User can send message. One of our teammate who supports WhatsApp is join in that.
This stimulates customer support functionality, which is critical feature in modern e-commerce platform.
Now coming to backend integration.
Our our frontend communicates with backend service using REST API. This API handle user authentication, product data fetching, order management, profile updates.
To ensure reliability, we also implemented a fallback machine.
If the backend server is unavailable, the application automatically switch to local product data.
This ensures that the website remains functional even in offline offline or server down scenarios. Additionally, we include several enhancement features such as wish list system for saving favorite products.
For example, let's see the this are the wish list products.
So we have also built a dark and light theme toggle for better user experience.
And we have also built a flash sale countdown timer to create urgency and engagement.
To conclude, the Lux Mart is a complete e-commerce solution that integrates multiple modern technologies and features.
Through this project, we demonstrated a full shopping workflow, secure and persistent user authentication, AI powered assistance, real-time communication, and seamless frontend-backend integration.
