India's strategic position is strengthened by its hard power capabilities, demonstrated through successful handling of nuclear powers like China and Pakistan, combined with a rapidly growing defense industrial base that has seen exports increase from 3,000 to 38,000 crores, with 80 countries purchasing Indian defense items; this advantage is further enhanced by India's status as the youngest developing nation, with time and age on its side, allowing for patient development and eventual achievement of its manifest destiny.

GUNNERS SHOT CLIPS: INDIA HAS HARD POWER WITH TIME ON ITS SIDEAdded:
The point is this, look, what uh General Dushyant has spoken of is the spoken of uh soft power, our ability to take everyone along, you know, all that.
But, when you look at power, there's element of hard power also involved.
And I I'll I'll you know I look at it from the thing of hard power.
In the past 3-4 years, India has actually started using its hard power.
I've already said the way we have handled China and Pakistan.
We are the nuclear power.
Only nuclear power has handled two nuclear powers and kicked them back and put them in their place.
Right? So, I think that is something we have to understand. Now, what is the result of all this? We have to also understand the result of all Get the slide, please. Then we'll You know, your defense exports have gone up.
This is something which you don't understand.
Some time back, about 4-5 years back, not even 4-5 years back, but 3 years back, your defense exports were something like 3,000 crores.
Today, it is 38,000 crores.
And the If you see the breakdown, the you know, DPSUs and that is the public sector is 50 almost 54% and private sector is 50 45% 54 50-50, that's the way I look at it.
Your private sector is catching up.
You see this great improvement in your defense capability in the private sector. The private the the public sector always had this capability. We have built it for that.
But, today, as part of your Atmanirbhar Soch and whatever it is, your private sector is also moving up.
Very, very important to understand this.
Then, what is it that you're you're exporting?
You're exporting naval platforms and ships. You're exporting artillery systems and missiles.
If you're exporting these three, the others will follow. It's a matter of time. You're already speaking to for MRO with Vietnam. You're speaking Philippines wants more BrahMos. Vietnam wants some BrahMos. Every People are asking.
Now, what does it mean?
It means a great global footprint. 80 countries purchase defense items from you.
Which will go up.
Which will go up including USA. USA also takes some items of defense from you, but that's a different story.
Which you have not leveraged it so far.
One day we'll leverage it. It will go up. It will you leverage it.
And more will come.
I've said this in the last thing I did.
Didn't I say that, you know, people are part of your thing is spending, rise of spending, militarism.
If people are spending on defense, where will they go to?
Naturally, they'll come to India because your defense industrial base is growing.
And people are saying that people are happy with your weapon systems. And people say now uh you know, your weapon systems are very strong. They defeated What is this?
China. So, all that is happening.
Now, but to go ahead, you need this.
You need to build your modernization and capacity building.
You need to put money where it counts.
You need to have an ability to spend.
And then you should be clear what to spend on.
You need to carry out structural modernization, which you are carrying out.
The MOD needs structural modification.
You need theater commands.
You need a outlook to be modernized.
You need technology infusion.
You need the best technology which what which allows us to win wars.
I've been saying this off and on. I'm saying nothing new.
You need good military diplomacy.
Part of major military diplomacy is your defense spending.
Right? And major militaries and major powers need a huge quotient of military diplomacy.
Um we have so far not gone on that line.
In fact, yesterday and day before in the last thing also, General Raj Shukla has spoken of this.
Diplomacy is just not foreign affairs and external affairs military uh external affairs.
It's also the defense.
You need adequate modernization, and you need strategic communication which we need to improve.
As a nation, we should know how to handle this fracas which came out with that little lady.
I mean, just think. She had something like 300 or 400 followers on Twitter uh day before yesterday.
After this fracas, she's now got 75,000 uh followers.
She's become a celebrity.
No, you can't allow that to happen. You should know how to handle it.
Right? And most importantly, age is on our side.
Age and time are on our are on our side.
We are the youngest of the developing nations by far.
And that has value. So, like what General Dushyant said, time is on our side.
Kal Chakra.
You know you know what we say. Kal Chakra is a important concept in the Indian culture.
As per that Kalachakra, it time is on your side.
So, one has to be patient. In this process, we might find we might stumble here and there. There's no doubt about it. We might have a few problems like what economic blip we're having today.
But let's have faith in ourselves. Let's have faith in our system. After all, this system is not something which has come from, you know, moon. This is a system which we have created.
And which you have, you know, through a democratic process, we have changed it to suit our requirements and our growth system.
And our culture.
So, let's stand by our own culture.
And have the confidence to be where we are supposed to be in the, you know, our manifest destiny of nations. We have a stature and we'll get it there. Yeah, thanks.
