Remember all of this is on a day when several meetings are have taken place in and around Chennai. The fact is actor politician Vijay remains short of that magic number of 117 and the governor Rajendra Vishwanat Ariker a former BJP leader of Goa appears to be drawing a clear line. point.
Vijay can take oath only after he secures 118 signatures of support.
Vijay who emerged as the biggest winner of this election is now finding it difficult to get the requisite numbers to form the government in Tamil Nadu.
The TVK chief met Taminadu governor Rajendra Vishwanat Allear for the second time in 24 hours on Thursday. Sources say the governor is not convinced that Vijaya has the numbers. Lok Bhavan sources added that Vijay was asked to come with 118 signatures and prove his majority before taking oath as chief minister.
However, sources claimed that the governor assured Vijay he would not invite any other party to form the government. The governor's stance has drawn sharp criticism from the Congress and even allies of the DMK. The governor is behaving like this. I don't know because he whether he has been pressurized by the B his colleagues in the BJP I don't know because BJP people has given in Tamil Nad only one MLA >> with one MLA what BJP wants to do they wanted to stop Mr. Vijay from being the chief minister of Tamil Nad or whether they wanted to deny Tamil Nad the right to elect their own people. This is a this shows the BJP's arrogance.
for Meanwhile, over 25 AIDS MLAs led by AIDMK MPC V Shan Mugam and MLA SP Veumani moved to a resort in Purucheri.
Sources say they're putting pressure on party leader Palanasami to strike an alliance with Wij. The MLAs evaded questions on why they're camping in a resort.
Smaller parties like VCK, CPM and CPI are likely to decide on an alliance with Vijay in the next couple of days. With the governor insisting on letters of support, the TVK chief may have to wait longer to take oath as the chief minister of Tamil Nadu.
