Dolly Got a New *Temporary* HomeAdded:
Dolly, you've been born for this, okay? You're going to be a really good beer barbecue.
>> Oh my.
>> I guarantee you, you're going to be a nice spot fat barbecue.
>> Oh, Dolly.
>> Okay.
>> Don't listen to him, Dolly. Look at those rolls, girly.
Mia, look how big she's getting.
The the cool thing about Dolly, she never ever tries to bite. She's the She's the nicest pig.
>> She is >> what? Otherwise, she's just a crazy pig.
She's a crazy pig.
She's a crazy pig. And she like she never You can just typically pigs are very mouthy.
They never they she never bites. I mean, >> needless to say, today is a huge day because Dolly is now going to a new temporary home. Notice how I said the word temporary because I can't have Dolly here in the living room any longer. If I walk over here and push the couch away from the wall, there's a pile of pee behind there. And that just happened from like the last 15 minutes.
Dolly is just a pig living in the house.
And right now I can't stick her outside because she has separation anxiety super bad and we're not ready to get her on the sanctuary. So I'm in like this little limbo area. Well, Joey and Sam know somebody. Her name is Britney. They actually gave her one of their turkeys.
And Rob went out there to catch bait in their pond.
>> They took two of their turkeys.
>> Two of their turkeys. Oh, the two turkeys that I probably didn't like.
Well, they have them. So now we are going to bring Dolly over this morning and they are creating an enclosure. They have goats. They have the turkeys. They have all the things. And they're going to keep Dolly until we're ready then to have her back. So, this is We're going to call it boarding. Okay.
>> She stuck it in her finger.
>> Yep.
>> I don't know why. She'll do it to every single finger.
>> Maverick's like, "Gh, this pig." We had the big litter box and she used it when she was in here. Obviously, when she comes out, she for whatever reason, she keeps wanting to use behind the couch.
So, I try to break her of it, but we're just not there yet. But she does have this litter box that she uses, but her big fat tushy sometimes hangs over the edge and then it gets outside of the litter box.
No, Dolly, come on.
>> What are we doing here?
>> Huh?
What?
>> What?
>> The purple one.
>> The the one all the way to the right underneath. By the way, if you guys have watched my chicken video, if you took bets on how long that sunflower would last, I bet you were all wrong cuz I don't think it even lasted like 3 days.
It died rapidly and she ain't coming back. I zip tied this like basket holder onto the cage and then we ended up going with a bigger bottle. And yes, she still takes milk. I mean, she's still a baby essentially. She's 6 weeks old now.
She's still young. Needless to say, I don't know how old exactly she has. I have to do the math. But she put we put the bottle in here. That way she can just drink when she wants to. And I just make sure that I replace it in the morning and at night. So, it's a really good setup that we have because then you don't have to constantly feed her. She can just feed herself. And this rooting mat came in handy.
So many things get stuck in here.
I found this cage play pen thing off Amazon and it's indooroutdoor so you technically can stake these into the ground like if you're camping or something. But I will say that mat is so cleaning friendly. Like it has been so disgusting and everything wipes right off. Like that's a really good play time.
>> Mom. Mom.
>> Yeah.
>> Did Did you see my grass I grew in my class?
>> It's Saturday right now and I have another video coming out today. So I'm trying to fix my my thumbnail right now.
Then we're going to take Dolly to his new to her new home. And then at noon, well, probably around 11:00, 11:30, I got to head south to the expo. We're having a big expo, I think, in Wellington.
>> In Wellington. It's a giant meet and greet. So, >> that's going to be really good.
>> It's good timing, though, cuz now Dolly will have something to do this weekend other than sitting in a cage. I used one of the old litter containers and I just would put a garbage bag in it and then when I would clean the litter it would like stay confined within this makeshift garbage pail. My dad used to put the cat litter growing up. So I think it's brilliant.
>> While my mom's cleaning I want to show you something. I made I grew grass in my class kind of rhymes but still and all the grass has seen better days.
I had a lot like luscious grass and I think they took that as a fivestar meal cuz if I'm clear mama extend you go right now. So, I'm just going to crack this open. And if you can see, yeah, it is.
>> They thought it would be a good idea to eat it all in like a second. Mom, they technically ate it all.
>> Really?
>> Yeah. They love it.
I am going to make Dolly a bottle to go so that they don't have to worry about it later and it'll bring her comfort probably when we get there once she gets settled a little bit. So, I just do three cups hot sink water to one full scoop of this powder formula.
Get it mixed in a little bit and then I use my frother and then it gets all that clumps out.
If you have clumps, it just sticks in the nipple. So, you don't want that. And then the trick to this top, you have to flip the nipple inside out. A calf bottle is the same way. This is actually a goat nipple. Oops. That I found. Um, but now that she's a little bit older, she can drink faster and she doesn't have a problem with it. When she was younger, she couldn't do that.
So, just snap it on and it's ready to go.
I also need to grab the pig pellets that I got.
Probably should just bring this box. No.
>> Where's the box?
>> Huh?
>> I packed all of her things right here.
We have her play pen. Maverick's not gone. Her bed and rooting mat. We have pig pellets. And I also have the cat litter and her litter tote that we're going to bring along. And we already have the mat for the play pen outside because the bottom part definitely smells like pee. I got to get this all in the Bronco.
>> Are you going to take that off?
>> No.
>> Why?
>> Because if it when we set it up, she'll have a >> she'll have her set up.
>> Why not have to take my clothes?
Um because it >> Emma, can you go get me a cosmic brownie? Dang, good fit.
>> I'm a professional hacker.
>> Yeah, she is.
>> That's all dolly sings in a nutshell.
>> Now, who's going to hold Dolly?
>> Me.
>> Dad.
>> She's going to freak out in the car.
>> Come here, Dolly.
>> She's going to scream. Come here. Come here, girl.
>> She's like, I know what's going on.
>> No.
>> Oh, I need my keys. Just go in the front seat. There. Blankets in there.
Stay. Stay. STAY.
Come here.
>> Okay.
>> The whole neighborhood now knows we have a pig. Come on, Emma. Hurry up.
>> Hi, Ollie.
>> Come here. You're good.
>> Good girl. She's like I was looking I was waiting for something like this.
>> Oh, you're going to have so much fun outside here. Okay.
>> These neighbors are like >> here.
>> It sounds like a grown woman screaming on the top of your lungs.
>> Hold on. You're okay.
>> Come here.
>> Okay.
Yeah.
Oh, dally.
>> Oh, dally.
>> Yeah, >> she's never nibbled at all. She's never bit anything. Like, she's the sweetest little pig.
>> Really?
>> She is.
>> Not in a mean way. Like, she will nibble your toes if you're like standing there and she's like rooting around. She'll like nibble them, but she's not aggressively biting you.
>> Yeah, >> she'll waddle up to me and go, "Bite my big toe."
>> Yeah. She waddle up and go.
>> When you raise a wild animal, you start to understand the tones in which they use. So like all of her grunts and squeaks and noises, I am understanding what they mean. It's like a mom or dad having a newborn child. You understand the different types of crying? No different than Dolly because sometimes she'll grunt and she's just making noises. Other times she's grunting because she's like, "Oh my gosh, where'd everybody go?" It's like a panic grunt.
But there's different grunts and different noises that mean different things.
>> Get the pink down.
>> You can put her down. Rob, >> hold on. Hold on.
>> I want her to be able to see everybody.
>> This is Dolly.
>> Hi, baby.
>> Welcome back, dude.
>> Hi. I'm Sarah.
>> Sarah. Terry.
>> Nice to meet you. I'm Sarah. Nice to meet you. Hi, guys.
Hi. Nice to meet you.
>> Dolly's like, "What's going on?"
>> Dolly has no idea what she is.
>> Dolly just wants to be >> She's never been around a pig. She's never seen a pig.
>> So, she doesn't even know. She has no mirrors. So, she just likes >> Am I a chicken? Am I a >> pig? Goat.
>> She's not going to be alone.
>> Look at the turkeys.
>> Has she ever seen other >> besides the dogs?
>> Just the dogs.
>> And chickens. She's a dog.
>> But we have chickens. So she knows chickens.
>> Okay. Okay.
>> So to her, she's like, "Oh, you're my friend." And the chickens are like, "Yeah, no.
>> I've never seen her cry."
>> I like to take all the animals off Facebook cuz I'm like, "At least I know they're safe with me."
>> Yeah.
>> This is what's I'm going to turn into within the next two years.
>> It's very >> Rob's here to listen to it. He's like, I already know. Okay. What are you doing over here?
>> So we are going to build the extension of a pen. So they have their own area.
She'll have her own little house. Um, and we're probably going to put Skittles. Skittles as the little goat and not the baby, that goat right there.
That'll probably be best friend.
>> I love it.
>> So, um, we'll build a little lean too for her this weekend.
>> So, she'll have shelter. Um, and then we have that little house over there so she can get out of the sun.
>> Oh my gosh.
>> Oh, let me see.
>> What kind of duck is this?
>> Call duck. Yeah.
>> Hi.
>> She's busting my ears. I know they're very loud.
>> Oh, >> Dolly doesn't realize things don't like her.
>> You know, she's just like, >> she's going to try to befriend everybody and then realize what the pecking order is. You know, >> so >> pigs truly are so smart.
>> She But she's a like she's a cool pig.
She really is. Hi guys. Oh my gosh. I love all of you. I love all of you. All of them.
>> I love the colors. Okay. Can I just pet you? Can I pet you? They're like, "No, not today."
>> Dolly, you're going to love it out here.
You're going to love it, Dolly.
>> Oh, boy.
>> Are you going to move this box?
>> Yeah, you're going to love it. Oh, hi, baby. Come here. I going to love you.
Yes, they are.
>> Oh, that good dark, huh?
>> It sounds smells.
>> I had a double masectomy in November and Terry was like, "What do you want for your surgery present?" And I was like, "I want turkey." So, he got me Gerald M.
I love him.
>> No way.
He just cruises and gobbles like that.
>> Cruises and gobbles. He answers to his name. Gerald. Oh, Jimmy.
>> We love him.
>> He's a cool dude. He doesn't like to be petted yet, but >> we'll get there.
>> Yeah.
>> Jimmy, >> we loved him so much.
>> Britney, you want to shoot the animal?
>> Yeah.
>> Whatever animal ain't moving.
>> This one.
>> We're watching. Oh yeah, >> he was the one with the crocs.
>> I knocked the spurs off, so it shouldn't if he does get to it.
>> It should be got it.
>> These right here are goals. Oh my gosh, Dolliey's chasing the turkey.
>> Dolly's like, I'm I'm a pig.
I was BEEN I'VE BEEN WONDERING WHAT I WAS.
>> I can't bark.
>> She does bark. Can I see it? Oh my gosh.
Look at the size of that egg.
>> It's a turkey egg.
>> It's a turkey egg.
>> Piggy is having her best life. Dolly is going to live her best life here.
So, literally this you just like I hang it on whatever and then I put the the milk like this in it like sideways in it and she like goes and comes and whatever. That's like her thing.
Awesome.
>> This I'm going to bring back home.
>> We don't get the tracker supply bag.
>> Oh, you want the tracker?
>> No, I don't.
>> Yeah, you can get I really don't.
>> Do you need the tracker?
>> I do not have so many bags.
>> Are you sure?
>> Yes.
>> This is dream goals right here. I'm going to have a mini cat one day named Poppy. So, my thing is I bring home animals and I say, "Sorry, Terry."
Because I literally could bring home a whale and he would just start building a whale pen. Annoyed. Very annoyed, but he'll do it.
>> Um, okay. Robbie is the same way though.
He understand like I bring home like but I like wild animals. I like everything wild animals >> and so I'll bring whatever home and he's like, "What you got today?"
>> Okay. All her goodies right there.
>> Yeah. This is going to be a good little square for everyone.
>> This is going to be amazing. Like I am, you guys. If I didn't have to go to Wellington today, I would absolutely be here already getting my hands dirty. But Rob is like, "We need to go cuz we have like a 3-hour drive right now." And I haven't even showered, so I got a quick shower. But they're building a pen right here in between these two. And then Dolly and one of the goats will be in this pen. Like I think I'm just going to leave the camera and y'all can just enjoy the rest of the footage. I am so thankful for these guys for helping out with Dolly cuz she's going to have such an amazing time out here. And the great thing is Britney was like, "When you want her back, just come grab her."
Which is I think is amazing because we just need to get things set in place at the sanctuary. We're just not there yet.
And she's outgrown our living room.
>> Pig like Dolly, man, that's a great that's a great thing for our kids. And Dolly is just amazing. Like I love that that little pig.
>> She's laying by the trigger room. She's like, "This is amazing." Like, she doesn't even know we're about to leave her. She is living her best piggy life.
And my rule of thumb is if it has a name, it is not food. It's off the table.
>> Got to keep it.
>> Yeah. Harper's going to be here holding the camera all day, giving us playbyplays while I go with Rob to the meet and greet. Can you do it?
>> Yeah.
>> Okay. I trust you.
>> Your nose is so nasty, mama. Here. Yeah.
Oh.
Hold that.
>> All right, the dart in. Push up and down. There you go. Good job.
>> We just walked into Home Depot.
We got 15 of these bad boys.
>> So now we are looking for wood grease >> 10x4 tan star flathead.
Okay. So, it looks like they when the gate falls. I was just going to say it looks like they were about done, but the gate just fell. They didn't yet.
This is what they did.
Dolly.
>> Oh, piggy. Don't Oh, he smell all that food on my shoe.
>> Want some more milk?
>> Happy.
>> He is solid.
Oh, you can't get your mother's camera dirty.
>> Drop it up right here.
>> All right, buddy.
>> Have to watch out.
>> That's his space. And so when it swings, it don't drag you around.
>> Had to watch out.
>> Turn it, buddy. Come on. Help me. Watch out. Watch out.
>> Hudson, get out of the camera, dude.
>> Hudson, come here. Here, Hudson.
>> Crazy. Grab it.
>> Turn. Turn it.
>> Go poke the holes. Good job.
>> Don't pigs supposed to have mud?
>> They make mud.
>> I'm sure she'll make her mud. She's trying to dig the quail out now.
>> All right, getting closer to being done.
Just a slight delay.
>> So, we are going to go check on Dolly before I leave.
>> Yeah. I love it.
>> And then there's >> Dolly.
>> Dolly.
>> Hello everybody. Hello.
>> Hello everybody.
>> We have a baby pig today. Yeah, we have >> we got the little house in today.
And then we got this nice shade tart thing. It's very nice. Then she she can see through it, so she's not going to be lonely. It is a wrap for today.
Love you. Thank you for giving us this opportunity, guys. We appreciate you so much.
>> Good morning, happy people.
We are going to check on Dolly. Hello, mama.
How was Dolly last night, girl?
How was she last night? Was she good?
Yeah.
She like, what you got?
How was Dolly last night? Mama, he's so pretty.
Look at the pretty mama.
>> She's looking for metal. Anything that we drop >> so the animals can't eat it.
>> Oh, >> we don't want the animals to eat the metal. Hadley, go along the fence.
Get out of there.
>> Good job. Walk the edge of the fence.
>> Show daddy the eggs in your trap, baby.
>> Let me see what you got.
>> You got a bunch of eggs. Oh, you're dropping them.
>> Oh, everybody.
I got that on video.
>> Hudson fell and I got it on video.
>> Yes. Can I see that?
>> Darling. Mama.
She's eating in the egg.
>> She finished it.
>> Someone give her another one.
>> She's cracked it.
>> Oh no, she No, not not me.
Oh yeah, she loves the fact.
She's literally enjoying that house.
Scratch it, girl. Scratch it. Scratch it. We didn't move Skittles yet in there. So, I don't know if we're going to do it tomorrow or today.
>> You can dig all you want until you hit rock. Oh, she's like, "Yeah.
Hi, Dolly. Oh, yeah. Or she's scratching.
Doll reminds me of Charlotte in the web.
I think your mom's taking the camera today, but it's been such a blast with you guys.
>> Hi, Dolly.
>> How are you doing?
>> Don't open it. Don't open it. Hi, Dolly.
>> Dolly wants to suck our fingers.
>> Suck them.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. Oh, yeah. Hi, Dolly.
>> Hi.
>> My finger.
>> Oh, you're going to suck my finger.
Okay.
>> Hi, darling.
>> There's her bottle. There's her bottle.
>> Hi.
>> Oh, she says, "Mhm. I want my bottle."
>> Can you hold it?
>> Oh, Dolly, you're a happy baby.
Yeah.
>> Oh, here you go.
>> Got it.
>> She found her way into the house yesterday.
>> Dolly did.
>> No, >> she's used to the house. That's the problem.
Oh my gosh. What a stinker.
>> Wow. This enclosure came out so good.
>> Oh, you put the extra. But we had to cuz she was literally fitting through that little square. And my dad said that.
He's like, "She's going to zip there."
I'm like, "No, she's not." And yes, she did. She was just like, "Whoop!" Like butter.
>> Uh-uh.
>> So, >> she, you know, she learned that from the cats and Nia cuz they went through the fence, so she knew she could go through.
>> Is that good?
>> Well, I got the chicken.
>> I love it.
>> Hi, Dolly.
Oh, is that good?
You're a good Pidgey.
This tree is going to get your car.
>> It's going to get my car. Do you like Dolly?
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah.
>> But I'm like I >> She jumps.
>> I I can't be sick all week. Like, holy smokes.
>> I'm so happy you're loving life, girly.
Yeah.
>> Okay. I am so thankful to Britney and her entire family because they've been helping me out. They're going to help me out big time with Dolly. She's got this awesome enclosure. Although she was sneaking through these um big squares, so they had to like reinforce it. But she is living the dream out here. I'm so excited for her. She's cruising around right now. It's obvious she became friends with everybody. So that's all I got. I'm going to continue to give Dolly updates because that is not the last time you're going to see her. So, I hope you guys enjoyed this video. If you did, drop a comment below. Give some love to this family, you guys. They're amazing people and they're helping me out.
They're helping all of us out. So, if you have not, please subscribe. Let me know what you think. That's all I got.
Till next time, take care. God bless.
