Political movements often exhibit hypocrisy when their own supporters criticize foreign policy deals that mirror previous administrations' approaches, revealing that political criticism frequently depends on which party implements policies rather than the policies themselves.

MAGA ERUPTS After Trump’s Iran Deal Gets Compared To Obama’s 😳 FAFO Season BeginsAdded:
The Republicans are fighting with each other online right now over Donald Trump's alleged deal with Iran that really doesn't achieve much. For example, Senator Ted Cruz, Republican, big supporter of Donald Trump, said, "I am deeply concerned about what we're hearing about an Iran deal being pushed by some voices in the administration."
Then he goes on to criticize it in a long Twitter post. And then a Trump adviser responded to Ted Cruz saying, "Cool, Ted. No one asked you, bro. Stop trying to undermine the president and his administration." Then Mike Pompeo, Donald Trump's former chief of staff, said the deal being floated with Iran seems straight out of the Obama playbook. Pay the IRGC to build a weapons of mass destruction program and terrorize the world. Not America first.
It's straightforward. Open the straight.
Deny Iran money. Take out Iranian capability. Overdue. Let's go. And then Steven Chong, one of Donald Trump's current senior adviserss, responded to Mike Pompeo saying he has no idea what the f he's talking about. He should shut his stupid mouth and leave the real work to the professionals. He's not read into anything that's happening, so how would he know? And there are a number of other examples about this, but it's safe to say that the MAGA movement right now is in complete and total chaos. What's up everybody and welcome back to Global Views with Josh, the channel where we break down global politics, trending chaos, and the internet's daily meltdown with a little common sense and a little sarcasm. If you're new here, please hit that subscribe button, smash the like button, and let's get into this absolute political soap opera. So, apparently Mar is now turning on Donald Trump over the Iran peace deal talks. And honestly, the irony here is a just chess case. The same people who spent years screaming that Obama was weak on Iran and now furious because they believe Trump's deal got less than Obama's agreement did. Yes, you heard that correctly. The art of the deal crowd is now asking if their guy got out negotiated by Barack Obama. Somewhere Obama is probably sipping iced tea and laughing quietly.
Donald Trump's celebration over the Iran peace deal has been ruined by his own supporters as they're saying he got less than Obama did. Now, if you missed it tonight, Donald Trump announced that Iran and the United States have agreed to a peace deal to bring an end to the war and his supporters are dragging him for it as they're saying he got far less than President Obama did. People like Ted Cruz, Lindsey Graham, Mark Levvin are all desperately trying to send messages to Donald Trump saying this is not enough. Now, what we think we know so far of the deal is that the US is going to agree to a complete ceasefire, including Lebanon. They're going to lift the blockade and unfreeze Iranian money up to $25 billion. And in return they are getting promises to talk about Iran's enriched uranium which they will give up maybe and that the Iran will maintain control of the strait and gradually reopening it. Donald Trump is getting promises in return for giving up the farm to Iran. This is not a deal.
This is complete surrender by the United States and Trump is getting rightfully >> Trump just surrendered to Iran in humiliating fashion. I love that for him. Republicans on the other hand absolutely hate it. A short time ago, Trump announced that a deal was reached with Iran that would completely open the Straight of Hormuz and basically give Iran everything they asked for. Aside from getting the Straight of Hormuz open, the United States gets nothing.
Not even the enriched uranium that Iran has. But Iran, on the other hand, is going to regain access to some of their bank accounts held in foreign countries that have been frozen, which was also a key portion of the Obama nuclear deal that Trump tore up during his first term that I brought up earlier this afternoon. And one of the key reasons Republicans absolutely hated that deal as well. Republicans are immediately criticizing this deal, calling it the worst deal ever made, which I find is pretty damn rich. And Mike Pompeo has come out saying that the United States is basically going to pay Iran to build a WMD program. Yep. So for Republicans to come out and say that this Trump deal is the worst deal ever made on Iran, worse than Obama's, is pretty hypocritical. But again, total humiliation for Donald Trump. But again, I love that. I absolutely love that for him. But let's see if this actually happens because we've seen this film before.
>> So, Donald Trump says a deal with Iran could be close, but inside Iran, a possible deal is being framed through the lens of victory and defiance. After weeks of war, a maritime blockade and the de facto closure of the straight of Hormuz. The message from Iran's leaders is simple. We stood firm and Trump blinked. State media reporting that President Masud Pesh Khan declared that Iran quote will not surrender to excessive demands and that negotiations are quote designed to fully secure the rights of the Iranian nation. Senior military figures are pairing diplomacy with deterrence. Senior military adviser to the Supreme Leader Mosen Resi declaring quote one hand on the trigger while officials negotiate. calling this the final move that could bring decades of security. Iran's foreign ministry acknowledges that there has been understanding on many issues, but foreign ministry spokesman Ismael Bahi says an agreement is not necessarily imminent.
>> Politics and decision-m in the United States are experiencing a kind of institutionalized instability.
>> One military leader saying he doesn't even understand the meaning of the word agreement. Some analysts say the agreement that could be emerging looks like a win for Iran, but deep distrust remains. And the fear is clear that this current pause could simply be a pretext for more bombing. And state media certainly is preparing the Iranian population for that possibility. There are nighttime rallies that have been going on every night for 80 nights straight where now state TV is showing people who are being taught how to use Kalashnikov assault rifles. So while Washington talks about a deal, Iran is telling its population that they are the real winners.
This is what Barack Obama said about the agreement that they had with Iran regarding nuclear weapons. We pulled it off without firing a missile. We got 97% of their enriched uranium out. They were able to maintain a modest civilian nuclear program for energy. There's no dispute that it worked and it didn't have to kill a whole bunch of people or shut down the strain of hormos.
Nope. And Trump ripped the agreement up.
Okay. The vile human needs to go away.
We need to 8647 8647 and get rid of that criminal in the White House. After all the hoopla, Donald Trump's Iran deal that he said was close yesterday will not be signed today. Overnight, MAGA erupted. Many in MAGA, especially the Warhawk wing of the party said that they did not support the leaked terms of Donald Trump's supposed deal with Iran. a deal that would have essentially put the United States back to where it was prewar and also given Iran billions of dollars. Well, Trump said the deal was close. Now, today he says, "Don't rush." He put out this truth social post telling his uh negotiators to not to rush into a deal and that time is on our side, saying the naval blockade will remain in full force until an agreement is reached. It's almost like clockwork. Once again, it doesn't seem like we are that close to a deal with Iran. And this time, it was likely because after Trump announced that we were close to a deal, MAGA pushed back. Spread the word. Follow along for more.
>> Has Donald Trump cave to Iran to give them a deal to open the straight of her moves? What? Yes. All major Republicans, former Mike Pompeo, former Secretary of State, has come out and said, "This potential deal is the worst deal ever.
We're going to pay Iran and we're going to allow them to develop a WMD program is what he said." You've got Lindsey Graham, the Warhawk, saying it's a bad deal, that Trump is making a mistake. You've got Senator Roger Wicker of Mississippi, the chairman of the Armed Services Committee saying it's a mistake. And I think Trump is so desperate to get the Straight of Hermuz open to try to get oil flowing because he knows what's coming in November of 2026, the election. And it is going to be a blue wave for the Democrats, especially Sra Hamu stays closed, especially if gas hits $5 or more a gallon and the economy continues to slow down as it is because of his war and his tariffs. So, we'll see what happens. But I think yes, Donald Trump is desperate enough that he will cave to do anything to get the Strider Moose open. And on top of that, we're going to pay him billions, it looks like, if what we're hearing is true. So, we'll see when it all comes out. We'll see what happens. What do you think? Open the straight and cave or what? I don't know. We'll see. Love to hear from my Democrats, my magas, my crazies, my cuckookas, and burn light bulbs. Doesn't sound like it's a good deal, but you know, Donald Trump part of the deal. Mhm. Really?
A MAGA civil war is erupting over a potential Iran deal. Details about this potential deal has been trickling through throughout the night. After looking at the details of this deal, if it is the way that it's being laid out right now, then we are going to be in the exact same strategic situation that we were in with the Obama nuclear deal, the JCPOA.
So, let's go through some of these details. The Islamic Republic will have $25 billion released to them in held assets from their oil profits. The United States will get the rest of the nuclear material, the 60% enriched material that is currently buried under rubble. The straight of Hormuse will reopen with no tolls, but the United States recognizes Iranian sovereignty over the strait. The US military will maintain a presence in the sea off the coast of Iran for 60 days and slowly back away as the details from this deal are carried out. All economic sanctions are lifted off of Iran. The US is reportedly open to allowing Iran have a single nuclear site for civilian and energy purposes. There are no details that I can find right now on if the US is going to allow limited enrichment in the country. If this deal is being negotiated the way it's being reported, then we are in a strategic parallel with the Obama era nuclear deal, the JCPOA. The United States has lost 42 aircraft. An estimated 228 structures in the Middle East will have to be repaired, not to mention the ordinance use. With equipment being replaced, buildings being repaired, and all of the ordinance that we have used, some estimates put the cost of the war at $7 billion.
We spent all of that and went even more into debt going into another useless [ __ ] war to put us in the exact same strategic situation as 201 [ __ ] 15.
If this deal is going to be executed, then this may be the most strategic blunder from a US president in US presidential history. This man made us spin our wheels for 11 years and then made us spend more money to fix it and it still might not be over. So, I'm going to be tracking the details of this potential deal as it develops. So, if you want to track this with me, drop a follow on Tik Tok, drop a follow on Instagram, support my work, $5 a month uh on Instagram or with a Vinmo in my bio. Talk to you guys later. Love you.
For years, Trump supporters said Obama's Iran deal was the worst agreement in human history. According to them, it was basically the downfall of civilization itself. Cable news host acted like Obama personally handed Iran the Infinity Stones. Republicans couldn't stop talking about it. Terrible deal, disaster, weak leadership. We heard it every single day. Now, fast forward to now. Trump negotiates a new agreement aimed at cooling tensions in the Middle East, opening the trade of Humors, and suddenly MAGA influencers are online asking, "Wait, why does this sound familiar? Didn't Obama already do this?
Why are we giving concessions? What exactly did we gain here?" Faken has officially entered the charts. And let's be honest, this isn't even really about policy anymore. It's about branding.
Because when Obama did diplomacy, conservatives called it surrender. But when Trump does diplomacy, it's supposed to be 4D chess. The problem is some of Trump's own supporters are now looking at the board and realizing it might just be regular chess. After all, the internet reaction has been brutal. Some MAGA commentators are accusing Trump of going soft. Others are trying to desperately are trying very desperately to explain why the deal is somehow genius even though they hated almost the exact same framework years ago.
The mental gymnastic deserves the Olympic medal at this point. Now on one post literally one of the posts literally said so we destroyed Obama's deal just to circle back to another version of it if not lesser. Ouch. And here is the thing nobody wants to admit.
Foreign policy is complicated. It's easy to shout America first at rallies. It's harder to prevent a major regional war without negotiation. President Presidents quickly learn that Twitter slogans don't magically solve geopolitical tensions. Now that's why this backlash is so interesting because it exposes the contradiction inside modern political fandom. A lot of people don't evaluate policies based on outcomes anymore. They evaluate them based on who delivers the message. If Obama negotiated peace, it was weakness.
If Trump negotiates peace, it's strength. Unless his own base decides it isn't. Now suddenly everybody is becoming a Middle East policy expert overnight. The same people who were posting eagle memes and calling diplomacy appeasement are now debating sanctions, uranium enrichment, regional stability and military escalation timelines that like they work at the Pentagon. Social media has truly become the greatest comedy show on earth. And let's not ignore the bigger picture here.
Americans are exhausted.
Wars are expensive. Global instability affects gas prices, food prices, and everyday life. Most Americans or most regular people honestly don't care about political brand and wars. They just want leaders to avoid another endless war or conflict. But politically, this situation is awkward for Trump because he built a huge part of his image around being tougher and smarter than Obama on foreign policy. So when members of his own movement start saying, "Wait a minute, Obama may have gotten a better deal, that cuts deep, it cuts really deep, very deep." Anyway, that's the latest political plot twist from Washington and the Middle East. Where today's historic victory can become tomorrow's MAGA civil war in about 5 minutes. But I want to hear from you. Do you think Trump's Iran peace deal is actually better than Obama's? Is Mara overreacting or are people finally realizing that governing is harder than campaigning and campaign speeches? Drop your thoughts in the comments below.
