The way that it feels like the best but also the most threatening thing at the same time. the intensity that almost physical overwhelm. It's like your your nervous system is going into overdrive and and truly it's not calm. It's not comfortable. Even though I do think with the right person, it's not going to feel so chaotic. I feel like sometimes when it feels that chaotic, you might need to like just just take a beat, just take a moment because for a lot of people that grew up in more chaotic environments when love wasn't predictable, spike of anxiety and excitement there, it's so intertwined that they almost feel like the same thing. This is actually a protective response because your brain is like going to be looking for the catch because it's that duality of like the thinking that if I allow myself to believe that this is real, then that means that I'm probably going to get hurt. So, I'll preemptively doubt it.
