NATO Article 5 is a collective defense clause in the alliance's founding treaty that stipulates all member states are obligated to come to the defense of another NATO state under attack, responding how they see fit. This provision is designed to deter any country from attacking a NATO member by making them face the prospect of having to take on all 32 members of the alliance, including the United States with its vast nuclear arsenal and strong conventional military. The United States is the only nation to have invoked Article 5 in the alliance's history, doing so after the 9/11 attacks in 2001.

WORLD WAR 3 CONCERNS | Putin's Drone Hits NATO Country | Article 4 ShockAdded:
May 29th, 2026. And man, what a day. We have got a lot to get you caught up on.
So, we have got stuff happening with Russia, NATO, Ukraine, the United States, Iran. Let me get you caught up on the latest. Now, earlier today, I did a live stream keeping you up to speed as we heard that Donald Trump entered into the situation room and we were waiting to see what the decision was going to be with the United States and the Iranian conflict. We've got some updates I'm going to be sharing with you. And also, as I mentioned, overnight, we're hearing that Russian drones hit into Romania, into NATO territories, and now there is outrage over what has unfolded overnight. Let's go ahead and take a look at the latest articles so that way you can see it for yourself. And video footage in the US and Europe chiming in on this, sounding the alarm after Russian drones strike NATO countries.
And we're hearing that they said they stand with NATO. Romania says Russian drone hit a Parman block. NATO vows to defend alliance territories. Here's another one coming out. NATO ready to defend every inch of territory as Russian drone hits in Romania. Mark Root says Moscow's reckless behavior is a danger to us all. NATO furious with they're saying the reckless behavior of Russia after the drone hits the apartment building while Russia denies its involvement. Now, drone strikes apartment building in NATO member Romania as Russia attacks neighboring Ukraine. So, they're saying this was intended for Ukraine, but they hit NATO nation Romania.
NATO states slam Russia after drone crashes in Romania. And another one, Russia's foreign spy chief accuses NATO of preparing for large-scale conflict in the east. So, Russia is claiming false flag narratives, saying, "We did nothing of the sort. NATO is actually preparing to attack us. Man, let me know your thoughts in the comments. And take a look here. This comes as just a couple of days ago, we saw that Orchnik uh Orchnik use backfires on Putin by exposing Russian missile tech. US lawmakers say US lawmakers said that Russia used the Orchnik missile uh in the Ukraine may backfire by giving Kiev and Western analysts access to the debris that reveals its capabilities.
Now, in addition to that, we're also hearing that they used that Orchnic missile recently, and that is that intermediate range IRBM, intermediate range ballistic missile that has nuclear capabilities. Now there is also information circulating around that Russia actually fired off two of these Orchnik missiles and only one of them actually hit one of them failed to launch and actually hit somewhere in Russia exposing that Russia's nuclear arsenal might not be as powerful or accurate as they claim. Man, let me know your thoughts in the comments. Now, in addition to that, I've been following for you the latest news coming out of the United States and Iran. Take a look.
Trump ends the Iranian meeting without announcing his final decision on the deal updated two hours ago. We're hearing he came out of that meeting. We are yet to hear what the path is moving forward. Let me know your thoughts in the comments. Are we going to be seeing more war? I was talking to somebody today. They were asking me about what do you think's going to happen? And I was just speculating. I was thinking, you know, if there is going to be attacks, they're probably going to hold off. We usually see attacks happen Friday, Saturday after the markets close. Gives the market some time to settle down for when they reopen on Monday. I've heard a lot of people say this and a lot of people think that this is the strategy of the Trump administration to make sure that markets and things try to remain stable. If we're going to be entering into conflict, it's likely going to be happening later on in the day on a Friday or a Saturday. Do you think that we haven't heard of a decision because a decision has been made to attack? or do you think we haven't heard of a decision because they're waiting to announce it maybe until closer till Monday so that way when the markets open there's a giant boom that we see with the stock market as well. Let me know your thoughts. But what is going to happen here with a conflict with the United States and Iran? And what we're hearing is that Iran during the time that Donald Trump was in that situation room meeting was coming out and saying the proposal that Donald Trump is saying that we're agreeing to, it's false. It's complete lies. They're saying we still have plans to control the street of Hormuz with Oman and charge service fees. In addition to that, they said that there's been nothing discussed on the nuclear dust or handing over the enriched uranium to which Trump said before he went into that meeting that that was a part of the deal that Iran cannot have any nuclear materials. Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. He also said the street of Armuse needs to be cleared out. The United States needs to go in get the enriched materials. Uh and he also said there was going to be no money that was going to be given to Iran. But Iran said that the proposal that they were talking about was going to be giving them a ton of money to help them get things back on track. So, let me know your thoughts.
We've got two very different proposals being presented. Both sides telling uh the world that the other side is lying.
We're going to see where we go from here, but I'm going to get you guys caught up on the latest. Like I said, there's been a lot coming out concerns with Russia, NATO, also the United States, and Iran. So, I'm going to dive right in. As you guys know, cite all the sources. So, these articles are going to be linked in the description. You can click them, read them for yourself. Also going to put the video footage on the screen for you so that way you can see the latest. So, let's go ahead and start off though with the latest coming out on Russia and NATO. And then we're going to take a look at the United States and Iran. Let's go ahead and take a look at this here. Articles coming out from Newsweek today. US and Europe sound the alarm after Russian drone strikes NATO country.
Now, it says the US has criticized Russia's reckless behavior after a Russian drone packed with explosives crossed into NATO member Romania and detonated early on Friday today, prompting condemnation from across Europe and the military alliance. Now, although Russian drones have repeatedly strayed into NATO territory since 2022, these incursions have not been treated as direct attacks on the alliance so far. But as Ukrainian drones targeting Russian assets have increasingly veered into NATO countries like the Baltic states and Finland, worries have surged over how often the war is leaking into alliance territory. And the concern is that if NATO gets pulled into this article 5 initiates, all those that are part of a NATO get pulled into war. And some are saying that this could be a allout world war. Now let me know your thoughts in the comments. Which one is more concerning to you, Russia or Iran?
Let me know your thoughts. Now, a drone violated Romanian airspace on Friday before striking an apartment building and exploding in the southeastern city of Galiti, which borders Ukraine and Muldova. Romanian officials have said two people were injured and a fire broke out after what Romanian President uh Nicosuran called the most serious security incident to occur in the country since the start of Moscow's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February of 2022. So man, let me know your thoughts in the comments. They're saying this is the biggest, most serious event that we have seen since this war started off. Now, we stand with our NATO ally Romania and condemn this reckless incursion on its territory. The US ambassador to NATO, Matthew Whitaker, said in a statement, "We will defend every inch of NATO territory. Concerns have been exasperated by doubts in Europe over whether President Donald Trump and his administration are fully committed to NATO and whether US troops would defend a member country if it were attacked by Russia. Romania has frequently scrambled fighter jets and issued emergency alerts for areas close to Ukrainian territory when Russia carries out intensive attacks on southern Ukraine. Now, Ukrainian officials had reported large-scale drone stroke strikes near its border with Romania overnight.
Now, entire continent is at risk. The UK Prime Minister Kir Starmer said Russia's persistent attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure threaten the security of the entire continent. While the country's foreign secretary Ivet Cooper called the incident extremely dangerous and reckless, Ursula Levand Deer Lean, the president of the European Union's executive arm, the European Commission, said Russia's war in Ukraine has crossed yet another line and the block would continue to beef up defenses in Eastern Europe. Russia's ambassador to Romania was effectively expelled from the country.
Romania's president said just hours after Romanian foreign minister Onan Toy said Russia's envoy had been summoned to a meeting with the government. Now Russia's foreign ministry quickly said that it would respond to the closure of its embassy in Bucharesque and that the declaration of its ambassador as persona non grata or not welcome in the NATO nations. And there's an image of that drone landing in that apartment building. Now, what do we know about the drone violating NATO airspace? Two Romanian F-16 fighter jets took off from an air base southwest of Galati at 1:19 a.m. local time on Friday, and emergency alerts went out to residents around the city as well as in nearby Tulsia and Brolia counties, Romania's government has said. Now, these three areas are all close to Ukraine's southwestern edge, which Russia has often targeted in an attempt to take out Ukraine's port infrastructure in cities like Ismael.
Now, Ismael, part of Ukraine's southern Odessa region, is separated from Tulsia by the Denube River, the river marking the border between the two countries.
Russia launched a massive drone attack on Odessa overnight. Regional Governor Olipur said earlier on Friday, Russian drones took out electricity supplies for roughly 4,000 people and struck three merchant ships in the Black Sea close to Ukraine, he said. Now, crew members on board the vessels quickly put out the fires and two people received medical care on one of the ships, the governor added. Romania's defense ministry said investigators were on site in Galati and initial information suggested the entire load of explosives packed into the drone detonated when the device struck that apartment building. Bucharest identified the drone as a Giran 2, the Russianmade version of Iran's notorious Shahed attack drones that Moscow has widely used against Ukraine. Fragments of a Russian drone were found in the Galati in late April after an electricity pole and part of a residential building were damaged, but no one was injured.
Now, what does NATO's article 5 mean and does it apply here? Now, because Romania is a member of NATO, it is protected by article 5 of the alliance's founding treaty. Now, this stipulates that all members are obligated to come to the defense of another NATO state under attack, responding how they see fit.
Now, the idea is that any country planning on attacking a NATO member would be deterred from doing so by the prospect of having to take on all 32 members of the alliance. Crucially, this includes the United States with its vast nuclear arsenal and strong conventional military. The US is the only nation to have invoked Article 5 in the alliance's history, doing so after 9/11 attacks in 2001. Romania's government has suggested that it could turn to article 4 according to domestic media reports.
Now, Article 4 obliges member states to hold discussions when one country feels threatened. So Romania is saying they might need to do so as a result of what has unfolded with Russia, initiating article 4 to discuss even further the concerns of the Russian nation to NATO nations. NATO Article 4 has triggered nine times in the alliance's history. Poland, which also borders Ukraine, activated Article 4 in September of 2025 when Russian drones violated its airspace as well. So, there you have it. Let me know your thoughts in the comments. Now, I've also got some video footage I'm going to be sharing with you that came out uh of that actual apartment complex lit from getting hit by that drone. So, that way you can see it and let me know your thoughts. Do you think that the Russia uh Ukraine war is going to spill over into NATO and turn into something bigger? If you think so, put yes in the comments. If you think no, put no. But let's go and take a look at some of the video footage so that way you can see the latest uh for yourself.
Russian drone hits apartment block in Romania during attack on Ukraine.
Emergency personnel responded to the immediate aftermath of a Russian drone crashing into an apartment block in Romania during the attack on Ukraine.
It's the first time a densely populated NATO country has been hit, causing injuries during Russia's war with Ukraine.
So, there you have the damage that was caused by those drones that hit into Romania in that apartment complex. That was some of the video footage that was released with that hit that took place overnight. Now, let me see here. I'm out of focus with the camera.
Let me go ahead and pull up some more articles for you guys. uh as we're hearing that the United States and Europe are saying that they will support uh NATO. We heard that individual come out in that last article and mention that NATO nations are slamming Russia.
Uh and we're hearing that Russia is claiming that NATO is getting ready to attack them in what they're claiming is a false flag move. Let me know your thoughts in the comments. Do you think that that is the case? Um, you know, Russia making this claim.
It's kind of hard for me to imagine that. Let me know your thoughts, though, because, uh, Russia is the world's number one nuclear power. Uh, what would be NATO's motivation to attack Russia, uh, basically being outgunned, so to speak. Uh, and Russia has threatened to nuke Europe in the past and said, "Just remember, European nations, that if you decide to go to war with us, your nations are small, your cities are densely packed and close together, easy for us to hit with our nuclear arsenal.
Let me know your thoughts in the comments. But take a look here. Russia's foreign spies chiefs, they are accusing NATO of preparing for large-scale conflict in the east. So Russia is saying, "We are preparing for NATO to attack us." And you can see this coming out in just the last 24 hours. Now, Sergey Noshinkin, head of Russia's SVR, Foreign Intelligence Service, on Thursday, yesterday, accused the NATO military alliance of making practical preparations for what he called a large-scale conflict in the east. The state RIA news agency reported. Now he was also cited for saying that European Union was rapidly arming itself and turning into a military alliance directed against Russia. So again, I've heard a lot of people say that when the history books are written, they're going to say that this is going to turn into World War II and that it actually started in February of 2022 when Russia launched that full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Let me know your thoughts.
Right now, we're hearing that they are preparing for something much bigger.
In the past week or so, we've heard warnings coming out from NATO to Russia saying, "Do not use a nuclear weapon against Ukraine." We had the Norwegian foreign minister come out and warn the United States.
We could be next on Russia's hit list.
They said they're going to go after Ukraine, NATO nations, and that the United States, our cities are not exempt from being hit by Russia. that we are not out of their reach. And we actually just recently saw them use that Orchnik missile as I mentioned to you guys earlier. Now, in the meantime, like I said, let me know your thoughts. What is more of a concern to you, Russia or Iran? Which one do you think is more of a potential threat and a danger to the United States homeland? Let me know your thoughts. Well, also taking place today, let's go ahead and take a look at this so that way you can see it for yourself.
Uh we have some updates today. President Donald Trump went into that situation room and he was meeting discussing whether or not there was going to be an agreement on the proposed ceasefire with Iran or we were going to see another round of conflict and war. Here is what we've got as of two hours ago. Trump ends the Iranian meeting without announcing his final determination on a deal. Key points. President Donald Trump ended a meeting in the White House situation room without announcing his final decision on whether to approve a deal to pause the three-month-old war with Iran. Now, in addition to that, let me know your thoughts. A lot of people are asking the question, why is he doing this negotiation for the proposal in the situation room? Most of the time when you think about the situation room, you're thinking about the room where the United States is preparing for an attack. They're preparing to launch. uh in that room. However, we're hearing that Peter Ducey, Fox News, the press is coming out and saying that the Trump administration is saying we also needed to give the president his briefings on various situations. So, it was simply easier to hold this meeting in the situation room and that is why. Uh let me know your thoughts. Do you think that's why or do you think that maybe we could be seeing the falling apart of these talks and a potential attack coming and so they just held the meeting in the situation room because that is the direction we're going to be going.
Let me know your thoughts. Now, Trump earlier said that he would be making his final determination during that meeting that was held in the situation room.
Iran must agree to never have a nuclear weapon and the straight of Hormuz must be immediately open to unrestricted shipping traffic. Now Trump demanded this on True Social. Iranian state news outlet Fars later pushed back on Trump's post saying that it raised issues that contradict the provisions of the agreement's text.
President Donald Trump ended a meeting in the White House situation room without announcing his final decision on whether to approve a deal to pause the three-month-old Iran war. An administration official told CNBC on Friday afternoon. Now, Trump earlier Friday said on True Social that he would be making his final determination during that meeting after listing everything that Iran must do for him to approve that deal. Now, it was not immediately clear from Trump's post which of his makeorb breakak conditions are already part of the preliminary agreement that US and Iranian negotiators are working on to pause the war. Iran must agree to never have a nuclear weapon and the straight of Hormuz must be immediately opened to unrestricted shipping traffic with no tolls being imposed, Trump demanded on Friday morning. Now, he also said the retaliatory US naval blockade against Iran in the Gulf of Oman will now be lifted, though it was unclear if he meant that step would only be taken if the prior conditions were met. Trump also stated that enriched material buried at the site of last year's attacks on Iran's nuclear facilities will be unearthed by the US in close coordination and conjunction with the Islamic Republic of Iran plus the International Atomic Energy Agency and destroyed. No money will be exchanged until further notice, Trump added. Other items of far less far less importance have been agreed to. I will be meeting now in the situation room to make a final determination. He said oil prices fell following Trump's post. Now, deal text disputes. The exact terms of the deal being discussed are unclear.
Iranian state news outlet Fars after Trump's post on Friday pushed back on the president's assertion, saying it raised issues that contradict the provisions of the agreement text.
Despite Trump's reference to a toll-free straight, there is no such clause in the text of that agreement bars reported in a translated telegram post citing informed sources. Now, the draft deal in discussion also contains no reference to Iran dismantling or destroying its nuclear materials according to the Fars.
Fars also asserted that the most important part of the agreement is immediate payment of 12 billion of Iran's frozen assets. Iran will refuse any further negotiations unless the payment is made per FARS. Now, the White House did not respond to CNBC's questions about Trump's post and the FARS rebuttal. A White House official told uh on Thursday confirmed an Axio report that the US and Iranian negoti negotiation teams had reached a 60-day memorandum of understanding that would extend the ongoing ceasefire and set up nuclear talks. That memorandum would also lift restrictions in the strait and specify that Iran must remove all mines from the waterway within 30 days while the US would lift its blockade accordingly.
Addressing Iran's highlyenriched uranium and enriched goals, enrichment goals will be top priority during the 60-day window, according to the Axios report.
Now, the draft would also tee up negotiations on sanctions relief and the release of frozen Iranian funds. Now, state of the strait. Trump's latest signal of progress toward a US Iran peace deal contrasts with recent economic and military clashes between the countries as well as continued anti-US posturing from Iranian officials and state media. The Pentagon said Thursday morning that Iran had launched a ballistic missile toward Kuwait. So again, just to clarify, this was on a US base in Kuwait. They launched a ballistic missile and deployed attack drones in and around the strait. Iranian media reported late Thursday local time that the country's armed forces fired missiles at unidentified targets. The US Treasury on Wednesday and Thursday announced new sanctions against Iran, including a batch targeting Thrron's new effort to exert control over transit through the strait. Iranian officials in exposts published prior to Trump's statement on Friday morning appeared defiant toward the United States, touting their ties with their Middle Eastern neighbors, including Oman, in recent targets of Trump's threats. Oman has reportedly been in talks with Iran about charging vessels transiting the straight of Hormuz, the vital global oil shipping route that has been largely blocked by Iranian threats since the war began. Now, Trump at a cabinet meeting Wednesday said that Oman will behave just like everybody else or we will have to blow them up. On Thursday, Treasury Secretary Scott Besson warned Oman that the US will aggressively target anyone involved in facilitating tolls for the strait. Now, a social media account attributed to Iran's preliminary speaker Muhammad Baker Galibbah in a translated expost Friday morning offered a cryptic but aggressive readout of the status of the talks. We seize concessions not through dialogue but with missiles. Wow.
Let me know your thoughts. Very aggressive language against the United States. In negotiations, we merely make them understand. Kalibas account wrote, "We have no trust in guarantees or words. Only actions are the measure. No action will be taken before the other side acts." The post said, "Now the winner of any agreement is the one who is better prepared for war from the day after." Iranian foreign minister posted that he spoke with his Omanian counterpart and expressed Iran's solidarity with Oman in the face of any threats. Wow. There you have it you guys. Let me know your thoughts in the comments. So, we're hearing a lot of push back from Iran even while we are seeing these talks that are taking place. Uh, and let me know what do you think is going to be on the horizon here, war or peace? And we're hearing the concerns with the United States and Iran. But in addition to that, also the conflict that's taking place, as I mentioned, with Russia, Ukraine spilling over into NATO. Now, let's take a look at some of the latest video footage coming out to give you updates regarding the US and Iran. We're going to be seeing where we go from here. And I see somebody asking, Steve, what's up with Oman? Oman was supposed to be neutral mediator. And now we're hearing that Oman is saying they might work with Iran to help charge tolls for ships to pass through the street of Hormuz. And the United States is saying that is not okay. We don't appreciate you trying to do an alliance, a deal agreement with Iran while we're in the middle of a war.
If you do that, we will have to blow you up. Let's go ahead and take a look at some video footage to get you caught up on the latest.
So, wouldn't you like to be a fly on the wall in the situation room where they just wrapped a meeting where President Trump said he would come to a final determination on whether or not there is an acceptable arrangement to come to some sort of agreement with Tyrron at least in the short term uh before the further issues are sort of nailed down here as well. So, uh let's bring in Mark Tissson, Fox News contributor. Um Mark just wrote a piece about really warning about the outcome of these discussions and what to be cautious about as you look and listen to both sides here.
Iran's side just keeps saying, you know, we don't we don't agree to any of this.
>> Yeah.
>> Uh and President Trump has been quite clear on what he wants out of this deal.
Where do you see it? Well, let's let's let's start by with the positive, which is that the decision to to launch Operation Epic Epic Fury is one of the most courageous decisions that the American president has made in my lifetime. And it has done devastating damage to Iran. So, when people are saying this is just like the JCPOA, no, it's not. 13,500 strikes by the US, 8,000 strikes by the Israelis, 82% of their defense industrial base destroyed, their ability to build uh build missiles, their ability to build drones, their ability to uh build navy, their navy is at the bottom of the uh of the Gulf. Their air force can't fly any sordies. So this is serious serious damage that has been done. Um however uh what Iran has figured out is that they may not have a nuclear weapon, but they have another weapon. and they have the straight of Hormuz and we have not been willing to do what's necessary to to open the straight unilaterally and so therefore they are using that weapon to force us into a deal that we probably wouldn't want to take and that's that's problematic. We don't know the details of the deal yet but what's being reported uh is that there's going to we're going we're going to lift the blockade in exchange for opening the straight. Uh there's no nuclear, you know, agreement yet. They've agreed to talk for 60 days. Uh but we should be opening the lifting the blockade until Iran hands over the nuclear dust. We should not be, you know, we know what a model looks like of a good deal because in 2003, George W. Bush had a good deal with Libya. Uh we went in, planes landed uh in in Libya, loaded up the entire Libyan nuclear program onto planes and flew them to including the centrifuges, including the uranium hexaflloride, everything, packed it up and sent it to Oakidge, Tennessee, where he went and received it and we blew up all their ballistic missiles. If we can get a deal like that out of this, if we can get the Arab countries to join the Abraham Accords, that's one thing. Uh but they haven't agreed to any of that and we're making concessions to them that they haven't earned yet.
>> Yeah, I I thought that the Arab uh accord issue, the Abraham Accord, excuse me, issue. Very important uh that the president brought that up the other day because it it feels like he's looking for something that shakes up the dynamic, right? because there's a log jam right now that you described perfectly over the straight of Hormuz and our own blockade and wanting to get oil flowing again. Um, is there any indication that those countries which were so close to joining the Abraham Accords before October 7th might now be enter a deal in the middle of all this with Israel?
>> Well, the interesting thing is it's a very smooth tactical move that President Trump has made because those countries didn't want us to resume the combat.
That's right. And so he's saying to them, it's like, okay, you don't want me to resume the combat, you got to join the Abraham Accords. If you want me to do this, do it this way. This is what you've got to give. And he says, we're owed it. And he's right. So if he's able to get them to sign on to the Abraham Accords as a result of this, a huge huge accomplishment. Um but but again, we need we've come so far. We have we are he is at the cusp of an opportunity to completely transform the Middle East for a generation. Um, and I just worry that the deal we're doing, even even let's say even he gets a great deal, Martha, it still gives a lifeline to the regime.
We're talking about, you know, cutter is we're going to do a wink and a nod and cutter is going to give them $6 billion in in assets. We're talking about some $500 billion reconstruction fund that gives a lifeline to the regime. And the problem is of giving a lifeline to the regime is that all the progress I described when we first started talking about the military strikes about the the damage that it's done is reversible if the regime survives. Right? Maybe not tomorrow, maybe not next year, maybe not five years, something like that. But at some point, Donald Trump is not going to be president anymore. We're going to have one day, I hope not soon, but we'll have a weak president like Joe Biden again. And the Iranians will cheat on it. They'll rebuild everything that was destroyed because they are determined to get a weapon because they want to use it, right? It's not like the It's not like the North Koreans who just want to be a hermit kingdom. They want it for a purpose and they're ideologically determined to do it. The only way these these things are irreversible is if the regime changes in Iran and that and that and that's not where we're headed right now, which is a problem.
>> I mean, I go back to thinking about what Netanyahu said in the beginning of this that it was to basically break the legs of the table. so that it collapses because he wanted to create an environment through of course obviously the great military of the United States where the regime collapsed where it just falls out from under them and the people can rise up and take their country back which they had 47 years ago and they want it back but clearly the hope for them at this point is dimming on that because these guys just hang on like you know some sort of thing that you can't get rid of >> and we and by the way Martha we know how to do this cuz we did it during the cold war we funded the Contras. We funded the Yidita Angola. We funded the Mujahedin.
We supported solidarity.
>> But Trump doesn't want to arm the Kurds.
He said that quite clearly. We gave them weapons and they they stole them.
>> Doesn't have to be the Kurds. But we have muscle memory on how to do this. We liberated 400 million people in the cold war uh by supporting them without going to war. We can do >> and when you look at it, it is like the wall coming down in a way. When you look at Venezuela, you look at Cuba, you look at Iran, you get a trifecta. You have a regional change that looks a lot like what happened when the curtain came down in the Soviet Union, >> but only if we persevere.
>> Thank you, Mark. Thank you.
>> There you have it, you guys. Man, let me know your thoughts in the comments. Uh, now we're going to be seeing what unfolds here. Let's take a look at some more video footage. Trump's big decision, Peter Ducey, giving us a little bit of insight as to what has been unfolding here after Trump has come out of that situation room. And right now we're hearing that um they are not giving us any details. So we're waiting to see. Do you think we're going to see attacks or do you think that we're going to see some sort of ceasefire agreement announcement? Let me know your thoughts.
Keep in mind as well that here in the United States we typically see attacks taking place Fridays, Saturdays. So, I wouldn't be surprised that if they decided that they were going to go the route of more war, if we saw the potential attack here coming very soon.
Now, we will see. Let's take a look at some clips. But first, breaking tonight, we're waiting to see whether President Trump will agree to or reject the latest peace plan with Iran. The deal would extend the ceasefire by 60 days as new talks are held on the Islamic Republic's nuclear program. The devil, as always, is in the details. Senior White House correspondent Peter Ducey starts us off tonight with the very latest live from the North Lawn. Good evening, Peter.
>> Good evening, Brett. The countdown is on. President Trump is here at the White House where he says he will soon make a final determination about this proposed deal with Iran after a 2-hour meeting in the situation room with his national security team.
>> There's a couple of points in the in the post that really uh give us cause for optimism. The points in the post. The Hormoo Strait must be immediately open.
No tolls. Ships caught in the straight due to our amazing and unprecedented naval blockade, which will now be lifted, may start the process of heading home. Enriched materials, sometimes referred to as nuclear dust, will be unearthed by the United States in close coordination in conjunction with the Islamic Republic of Iran, plus the International Atomic Energy Agency, and destroyed. No money will be exchanged until further notice. That's key because according to the New York Times, earlier in the negotiations, Thrron had demanded reparations for bombardment damage that some Iranian officials estimate at $300 billion to $1 trillion. Two diplomats briefed on the latest draft called it an international investment fund, which the United States would help facilitate in the event of a final deal. And if diplomacy fails, >> when I talked to your commanders, when I talked to all you this morning, I know you're ready. And that gives me confidence. That gives the president confidence and it should give the American people confidence.
>> Military experts hope the US will negotiate a way to verify Iran's claims about its nuclear program. Even though Iran has historically skirted safeguards put in place by international bodies.
>> I think we need to make sure we don't let our guard down. We keep watching for them cuz uh you can't trust them.
>> For now, Iran's parliament speaker claims no action will be taken before the other side acts. But US officials claim there is a real substance beneath Iran's bluster.
>> I think one of the things that has gone unappreciated and unnoticed here is this is the first time the Iranians have been willing to discuss the nuclear subject.
>> But now tonight in some wires that are crossing the the Iranians claim they are only focused on ending the war, not negotiating over their nuclear program.
That's coming from a spokesperson for Iran's foreign ministry. We don't know if that means they will never negotiate over the nuclear program or if they're just going to wait until the war is officially officially over. Brett, >> here we go again. We'll follow that.
Peter, also today, there were a pair of rulings by federal judges against the president today. What happened?
>> Yes. First, this morning, a federal judge ruled that the administration cannot move any money for the time being into the $ 1.8 8 billion weaponization fund, which is meant to pay out people who think they have been victimized by the federal government. Then this afternoon, a separate federal judge ruled that President Trump's name has to come off the Trump Kennedy Center and the administration cannot move forward with planned renovations that would close the center for 2 years. And that is too much for the president. In a very long post, he concludes with this. I have instructed the Department of Commerce to make all necessary arrangements with Congress to allow a full and complete transfer of this institution, giving them the responsibility for its operation, maintenance, and management. And so his argument in this long post is basically if they're going to take my name off it and they're not going to let me fix it, it's not worth my time. Brett, >> that's big news for Washington on a Friday afternoon. Peter, thanks.
>> There you have it, guys. man. And a lot of news coming out today, Friday, May 29th, 2026. Now, I'm going to be keeping you guys up to date every step of the way here on the channel as more news comes out. We're going to see where this goes. We're going to see what unfolds with Russia and NATO. We're also going to be seeing what unfolds with the United States and Iran. And let me know your thoughts. We are yet to hear what the decision has been after Trump came out of that situation room. Do you think we're going to see war or do you think we're going to see a deal? Drop it in the comments. If we're going to see a deal, maybe we'll see some kind of an announcement Sunday or Monday. So that way as the markets open, we can see the stock market boom. Or if we're going to see war and attacks, we might see them tonight. We might see them early in the morning tomorrow. Historically, we've seen uh uh launches of attacks by the United States take place Friday, Saturdays. A lot of people speculating this is because we want the market to be calm and have the weekend to kind of uh digest everything that's unfolded and then on Mondays it's not as big of a hit and a shock to the markets as maybe if it happened during the week. So, we will see. We've seen a lot of that unfolding.
I'll keep you up to date. Let me know.
I'm seeing war starting to pour into the comments now. us know that if we do see attacks begin to unfold tonight or early in the morning, as soon as I find out, I'll hop right on and let you guys know right away right here on the channel.
