We're entering the molecular interaction zone of the comet tail and possibly dust by tonight. And we've got magnetic microbes as well, but we're starting with the last 24 hours on our star where calm has entered the frame. The jitters you see in the sequence is a satellite role in calibration, and they were indeed the most exciting event to see. No big flares or eruptions, and that may not change today. We do have a touch of magnetic mixing way up top right, already beginning to depart. The other sunspot groups may have some size, but no magnetic mixing potential this morning. We'll be watching them morph around today.

The updated images do show tail action due to enhanced solar wind interaction on the 24th, which is when the higher production we were monitoring for would need to occur to add to the particles to the solar wind stream heading for Earth. The peak 48 to 60 hours of that bombardment potential begins right now. Eyes on the sky for most of you. I'll be watching the complicated data streams.
