In diplomatic negotiations, nations often establish specific conditions for peace agreements, such as nuclear disarmament, maritime access guarantees, and security measures. The US has proposed terms including Iran's permanent nuclear weapons prohibition, immediate opening of the Hormuz Strait for unrestricted shipping, and removal of sea mines, while also addressing concerns about enriched uranium stockpiles and potential transfers to other nations.

Iran Ceasefire On Brink? Trump Reveals Final Terms As He Rushes To Situation Room For War DecisionAdded:
Iran ceasefire with the United States appears increasingly fragile as Donald Trump rushes into the situation room for urgent talks. The US president [music] has now laid out his terms for possible peace deal with Iran as tensions continue to simmer. Last nail in the coffin, Trump's top team has huddled together as Washington weighs a final decision on the Iran deal. Nuclear weapons, Hormuz, and [music] sea mines, Trump has now publicly revealed Washington's key terms and conditions for Tehran.
Trump said and I quote, "Iran must agree that they will never have a nuclear weapon or bomb. The Hormuz Strait must be immediately open, no tolls, for unrestricted shipping traffic in both directions.
All water mines, bombs, if any, will be terminated. We have removed through detonation numerous such mines with our great underwater mine sweepers.
Iran will complete the immediate removal and or detonation of any mines that are left, which will not be many.
Ships caught in the Strait due to our amazing and unprecedented naval blockade, which will now be lifted, may start the process of heading home.
Say hello to your wives, husbands, parents, and families from me, your favorite president.
Trump has also warned Mojtaba Khamenei against any move that could transfer enriched uranium stockpiles [music] to Russia. As Iran-US war tensions continue to simmer, the big question remains, will Donald Trump edge closer to all-out war again?
Trump said and I quote, "The enriched material, sometimes referred to as nuclear dust, which is buried deep underground with virtually collapsed mountains caused by our powerful B-2 bomber attack 11 months ago, sitting on top of it, will be unearthed by the United States, which it is agreed is the only country, along with China, with the mechanical capability of doing so, >> [music] >> in close coordination and conjunction with the Islamic Republic of Iran plus the International [music] Atomic Energy Agency and destroyed. No money will be exchanged until further notice.
Other items of far less importance have been agreed to. I will be meeting now in the situation room to make a final determination. [music] Meanwhile, on May 28th, Trump's Treasury Secretary [music] admitted that a breakthrough deal with Iran may now be within reach.
>> What we've seen is actually oil prices are down about 10% in May. There almost 2,000 ships waiting to come out of the Gulf and I think the oil market is going to be very well supplied on the other side of this and that we could see prices come down very quickly. We saw the UAE the leave OPEC. So, I I would expect on the other side of this that gasoline prices will follow.
>> When can Americans the average American and can the US economy work for the average American without a deal with Iran?
>> Uh I I again, I I believe we've already seen oil prices come down substantially.
We are pumping more oil than what we've ever seen before and I as I said, these are short-term challenges that we will get over and I think we'll move forward.
>> What did you think about President Trump's comments in the cabinet meeting yesterday saying he didn't care about the midterms?
>> Yeah. I So, you're calling President Trump a statesman.
You're you're you're saying that he is taking a statesman-like position that he has a a a core belief and he he believes that the most important thing is for Iran never to have a nuclear weapon. So, I I believe uh both things can be true.
That we can do well in the midterms, that we uh perhaps have the makings of a deal here and I believe that and look the economy that it is it is challenging now but unemployment is still low.
Uh tax refunds were high and consumer spending is still quite high.
>> Is the United States considering a reconstruction program for Iran if a deal is signed?
>> Uh again, I I think we we got to get to the deal before we get to the other side.
