Ruto blames Gachagua for Wandeto’s death

Speaking in Mombasa County, President Ruto claimed that Gachagua's alleged tribal and divisive remarks fueled hostility that led to Wanjiru's death. The head of state warned his former deputy that he would one day be held accountable for what he termed as spreading tribalism and hate.
